APIM - Scholarships for PGDM Program
The Asia Pacific Institute of Management (APIM) provides numerous scholarships for their students, focusing particularly on those enrolled in the PGDM programs. These scholarships serve as a significant source of financial support for meritorious students, supporting them throughout their academic journey. The institution offers two primary types of scholarships: The Late B.B. Verma Merit-Cum-Performance Based Scholarship, and the Merit-Cum-Means Performance-based Scholarship.
Program | Eligibility Criteria | Scholarship Amount |
Late B.B. Verma Merit-Cum-Performance Based Scholarship | Marks in Qualifying Exams: CAT >70 percentile, XAT >80 percentile, CMAT >85 percentile, MAT >90 percentile, Graduation >50%, 12th >60% | Varies (based on overall assessment by the Scholarship Award Committee) |
Merit-Cum-Means Performance-based Scholarship | High percentile scores in CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT entrance exams. Good academic record in Graduation, 12th class with above-prescribed percentile/percentage/CGPA along with Eligibility Test | Two Phases-50% in 1st year and 50% in 2nd year |
The final selection for both scholarships is critically assessed by the Scholarship Award Committee based on the cumulative assessment of the applicant's common entrance test score (CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT) and other criteria such as performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The distribution of the Merit-Cum-Means Performance-based Scholarship is divided into two phases, with 50% awarded in the first academic year and the remaining 50% in the second academic year.
Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 8.0 and above (out of 10.0) in every trimester at APIM in the 1st year academic result. A high standard of academic performance is expected, along with adherence to the norms and accepted code of conduct of the institute. In each of the trimesters of years 1 and 2, the students are required to maintain 85% attendance in every subject.
Note: APIM reserves the right to alter the details of the scholarship programme at any time. Students appearing in Final Year Graduation Examination (1st attempt) in Summer 2022 can also apply.
