• Reservation Policy: Hostel admissions adhere to the Government of India's reservation policy, allocating specific percentages for various categories, including Scheduled Castes (15%), Scheduled Tribes (7.5%), Other Backward Classes (27%), Economically Weaker Sections (10%), Defense Personnel/Dependents (5%), and Persons with Disabilities (5%). Additionally, students residing within a 50-kilometer radius of the university are generally not eligible for hostel accommodation.
  
  
• Capacity: Typically, only 60% of new admissions receive hostel accommodation each academic year, subject to availability and adherence to the reservation policy.
