The Central Universities Act, 2009 (Act No 25 of 2009 read with the Central Universities Act, 2009) created CU Jammu in 2011. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved this central university, which is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and a "B++" grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). CU Jammu Courses and Fees 2025
The CU Jammu provides two integrated programs in the fields of education, science, and vocational training at the undergraduate level, along with BVoc. While the course time for BVoc is three years, integrated programs last five years. It provides six postgraduate programs: MA, MSc, MTech, MBA, MEd, and MA/MSc. Postgraduate programs last two years and are divided into four semesters.
