Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, or YSP University came into existence in the year 1985. YSP University is a Public university of the state that has been recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). Full-time diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses are being provided by YS Parmar University. YSP University diploma course list contains Diploma in Fruits Vegetable Processing and Bakery Products, B.Sc.(Hons), M.Sc., M.B.A, M.B.A Agribusiness & Ph.D programmes. YSP University diploma admission is merit-based on the previous qualifying exam. Nauni University B.Sc.(Hons) admission is carried out on the basis of an entrance test by the university. ICAR AIEEA score is also taken into account for YSP University admission to UG & PG courses. Dr YS Parmar M.B.A admission is carried out on the basis of HPCET entrance score. Admission to YSP University Ph.D is on the basis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) AICE-JRF/ SRF (Ph.D) held by the National Testing Agency (NTA) except Ph.D Business Management.
