GIET University: Hostel Fees & Infrastructure
GIET University(Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology University) provides hostel accommodations for both male and female students. Here's a hostel admission process and fees:
- Candidates desiring room accommodation must provide a separate crossed Demand Draft for '35,000/- made in favour of GIET University, paid at Gunupur, and students need to highlight their choice of food(Vegetarian/Non-Vegetarian, etc.) online.
- Payment for Hostel Advance does not necessarily guarantee Hostel accommodation. Hostel accommodations will be created depending on availability.
- The university includes ten boys hostels. The hostels can accommodate more than 2000 students. Every hostel has a telephone, indoor games, water purifiers, and other amenities. In addition, the university maintains eight girls' hostels for students to stay in. Girls' hostels can accommodate up to 600 students, and all the basic facilities are maintained by wardens.
- Separate hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls. Candidates should report to the hostel within 7 days from the commencement date of classes, failing which, the hostel allotment will be cancelled automatically, and fees paid will stand forfeited for all premises.
- Refund of Fees: Refund will be made as per the norms of the University. The Counselling processing fee (`15,000/- (Inclusive of GST)) is Non-Refundable but will be adjusted in the tuition fees once the candidate joins the University.

GIETU: Scholarships & Financial Aid
GIET University offers a variety of grants for tutoring in various courses depending on a student's performance and financial situation. Among the important scholarships are:
- Merit Scholarship: Given to deserving B.Tech students from Odisha, particularly those who achieved the highest scores on state-recognized boards, the award amount ranges from INR 25,000 to INR 50,000 per academic year.
- Ph.D and M. Tech Scholarship: Full-time Ph.D. students are eligible for Ph.D. and M.Tech scholarships, which provide a monthly stipend of INR 25,000 to cover research costs.
- AICTE Pragathi and Saksham Scholarship: The AICTE Pragati and Saksham Scholarships are government-funded awards given to students with disabilities (Saksham) and female students (Pragati) whose family makes less than 8 lakh a year.
- Board of Governance Scholarship: This scholarship is intended to assist all students with their tuition costs, regardless of the program they are enrolled in; nevertheless, they must do well.
- Odisha State Scholarship and Sponsored Scholarship: Scholarships offered by the state and federal governments to students from SC, ST, and other underprivileged groups are referred to as Odisha State Scholarships and Sponsored Scholarships.
