Government Law College Mumbai offers law courses a the undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate levels. Entry to the LLB and BA LLB courses is through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET), while admissions to diploma and certificate courses are based on a candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination. GLC Mumbai UG Admissions 2025

Government Law College offers LLB and BA LLB courses at the undergraduate level. The duration of these courses ranges between 3 and 5 years. Students must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board to be eligible for BA LLB admission, whereas, for an LLB course, the basic eligibility criteria is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Admission to these courses is made based on the candidate’s performance in the MH CET Law exam followed by subsequent counselling rounds.

 

GLC Mumbai PG Admissions 2025

Government Law College, Mumbai offers a Master’s in Law program at the postgraduate level. This course is of 2-year duration. For the LLM course, students must hold an LLB degree from a recognised institute. Admission to the LLM program is done based on the candidate’s performance in the MH CET Law exam followed by subsequent counselling sessions.

GLC Mumbai Application Process 2025

GLC Mumbai Admission to the BA LLB and LLB courses is offered based on the candidate’s merit in MHT CET Law followed by the CAP Counselling. Admission to the Diploma, PG Diploma, and PG Certificate courses is based on the candidate’s merit in the previous qualifying exam. Students seeking admission to merit-based classes can apply online on the institute's official website. Students have to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply to the courses offered by the college:

  • Register for the MH CET Law exam for BA LLB, LLB, and LLM exam
  • Appear for the MH CET Law exam
  • After clearing the cutoff for admission, register for CAP Counselling.
  • Select GLC Mumbai as the preferred college at the time of CAP counselling
  • Pay the application fee online
  • Click on ‘Submit’ for final submission
