HNGU Admission 2025: Dates, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU) admission 2025 will open soon. Admission to most of the offered courses is merit-based and entrance basis is for a few courses. HNGU offers a range of UG, PG, and doctoral courses in the disciplines of Education, Science, Social Work, and Rural Studies. The university has 29 on-campus departments/centers which offers a total of 39 on-campus UG and PG programmes. Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU) also accepts national-level entrance exams such as MAT and CMAT for admission. Admission to BA, B.Com, B.Ed, BBA, BCA, B.Lib.I.Sc, BJMB, BRS, BSW, LL.B and B.Sc is offered on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination.
For B.Arch, the candidates have to qualify in NATA conducted at All India level. B.P.Ed and B.Ed admission is offered on the basis of marks in university-based entrance tests.Admission to MA, M.Com, MCA, MSW and PG Diploma courses is based on the marks obtained in Graduation. For M.Pharm, the candidates have to qualify in PGCET conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
MAT qualified candidates can apply for the MHM program. HNGU also conducts an entrance test to offer admission in this program.For the Master's Urban Planning course, the university conducts an entrance test followed by counselling.
MBA programs require a valid score in CMAT.Admission to M.Sc, LL.M and M.Ed courses is offered on the basis of university-based entrance through centralized admission. HNGU conducts separate entrance tests to offer admission to M.Phil & Ph.D. courses. CSIR NET/ UGC NET or GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the Ph.D. entrance test.

HNGU UG Admission 2025
At UG level, HNGU offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, LL.B, BCA, BBA, B,Com, BSW, B.Voc, B.Ed and B.P.Ed courses along with B.Arch in various disciplines. The minimum eligibility for all the courses is 10+2 from a recognized board. Admission is based on merit drawn by considering candidates’ marks at 10+2 level. B.P.Ed and B.Ed admission is offered on the basis of university-based entrance.
The university also offers a B.Arch program for which admission is offered on the basis of candidates’ performance in NATA.

HNGU PG Admission 2025
A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to PG courses. Admission is based on merit except for MUP, M.Ed and M.P.Ed courses for which the university conducts separate entrance tests followed by an interview.
M.Pharm admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in PGCET conducted by ACPC. MBA admission is based on CMAT score. HNGU also offers an MHM course for which admission is offered on the basis of MAT score.

HNGU Ph.D. Admission 2025
HNGU offers M.Phil & Ph.D. courses in various specializations at Doctorate level. Admission to these programs require the candidates to clear an entrance test conducted by the University. The minimum educational qualification for the program is a Master's degree in the relevant field with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
The entrance exam will be conducted by the University. Candidates who clear the written test may have to attend an interview round. The University will publish the merit list on its official website only.

HNGU Application Process 2025
The application process of the university is online for all courses except Ph.D. The steps to apply for the courses are given below:

- Select the ‘Admission’ tab and click on ‘Online Admission’
- Fill the application form
- Attach relevant documents, make the online payment and submit the form
Once the form is submitted, candidates will be informed of the further procedure by the University. It should be noted that the Ph.D. candidates may have to download the application form; fill in the details, then send the form along with the required documents to the University.
