IIM Raipur (Indian Institute of Management Raipur) was established in 2010 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development and the Government of India. IIM Raipur, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is the 10th IIM established in the country. IIM Raipur offers MBA, Executive MBA, Executive MBA HRM and Ph.D. The total fee for the IIM Raipur MBA is INR 20 lakh.

IIM Raipur admissions are based on entrance exams GATE/ CAT/GRE/GMAT/UGC-NET and CAP. For the MBA program, candidates will get shortlisted based on their CAT scores, following which they must appear for a Personal Interview. IIM Raipur will conduct the PI through the Common Admission Process (CAP). The final selection of candidates will be based on their CAT score, performance in the Personal Interview round, and overall academic performance. The NIRF 2025 rankings have been released, and IIM Raipur has secured the 15th position in the management category.

IIM Raipur offers an MBA, Executive MBA, Executive MBA in HRM, and PhD programs at the postgraduate and doctoral levels. To be eligible for the programs, candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and qualify for entrance exams such as the CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, JRF (UGC/CSIR), or UGC-NET. Candidates must appear for a personal interview round once they get shortlisted. The total fees for the MBA, Executive MBA, and Executive MBA HRM at IIM Raipur are INR 20 lakhs, INR 14.95 lakhs, and INR 13.25 lakhs, respectively.

CAT 2025 Registration

Candidates planning to appear for CAT 2025 can find complete details about the registration process below:

• Notification Release: The official CAT 2025 notification was released by IIM Kozhikode on 27 July, 2025. Registration Start Date: The online registration window will open on 1 August, 2025.
• Last Date to Apply: Candidates must complete their registration by 13 September, 2025.

How to Register:

• Registration is online only via the official CAT portal.
• A valid and unique email address and mobile number are required to initiate the registration process.
• Upon registration, candidates will receive a User ID and Password to log in and complete the application form.

Important Guidelines:

• Candidates can fill out the form in multiple sessions — progress will be saved automatically.
• Double-check all details before paying the application fee, as no edits will be allowed after payment.
• Incomplete or incorrect information may result in the immediate rejection of your application.
• SC/ST/PwD candidates must upload valid category certificates during the registration process. Category changes are not allowed post-registration.

A correction window will be provided after registration closes, but only for a limited time.

IIM Raipur Placements 2025

The placement for 2025 has not been announced yet. However, the highest package offered to the 2022-24 MBA batch is INR 42.29 LPA, and the average package stood at INR 18.15 LPA. More than 116 companies participated in the placements, with 38 new companies joining the event. The top recruiters are Deloitte, PwC, Bank of America, Capgemini, Aditya Birla Capital, Reliance Retail, Grant Thornton and Amazon.
