IIM Trichy or IIM Tiruchirappalli established in 2011 is the 11th IIM and is one of Baby IIMs. The institute is also a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). IIM Trichy’s flagship PGPM program is affiliated with the Association of MBAs (AMBA). Its PGP program is also the first IIM program to be accepted under the CFA University Recognition Program. IIM Tiruchirappalli is a prestigious national institute. Apart from its flagship PGP program, it also offers PGPM for executives (PGPBM), PhD, and EPhD.
The Admission procedure followed at IIM Trichy is CAP 2025. All applicants must first appear for the CAT/GMAT for the PGP program and the CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF for Ph.D programs. IIM Trichy has more than 45 faculty members. The institute has outstanding placement records. In the 2022-24 batch, 99% of students were placed. The highest package offered was INR 43,69,000, and the average package offered was INR 19,43,000/-. More than 100 recruiters visited the campus, including 35 new recruiters. CAT 2025 registration will start on 1 August, 2025, (10:00 AM), and the window will remain open until 13 September, 2025, (till 5:00 PM). Candidates will be able to download their admit cards between 5 November and 30 November, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 30 November 2025. The results are expected to be declared in the first week of January 2026. The CAT registration fee has been increased to INR 2,600 for General category candidates and INR 1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

- Notification Release: The official CAT 2025 notification was released by IIM Kozhikode on 27 July, 2025. Registration Start Date: The online registration window will open on 1 August, 2025.

- Registration is online only via the official CAT portal.
- A valid and unique email address and mobile number are required to initiate the registration process.

Important Guidelines:
