IIM Trichy, or IIM Tiruchirappalli, established in 2011, is the 11th IIM and is one of the Baby IIMs. The institute is also a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). IIM Trichy’s flagship PGPM program is affiliated with the Association of MBAs (AMBA). Its PGP program is also the first IIM program to be accepted under the CFA University Recognition Program. IIM Tiruchirappalli is a prestigious national institute. Apart from its flagship PGP program, it also offers PGPM for executives (PGPBM), PhD, and EPhD.
The Admission procedure followed at IIM Trichy is CAP 2025. All applicants must first appear for the CAT/GMAT for the PGP program and the CAT/IIMB for Ph.D programs. IIM Trichy follows a step-by-step admission process to select candidates for the available seats at the institute.

- Notification Release: The official CAT 2025 notification was released by IIM Kozhikode on 27 July, 2025. Registration Start Date: The online registration window will open on 1 August, 2025.
- Last Date to Apply: Candidates must complete their registration by 13 September, 2025.
How to Register:
- Registration is online only via the official CAT portal.
- A valid and unique email address and mobile number are required to initiate the registration process.
- Upon registration, candidates will receive a User ID and Password to log in and complete the application form.
Important Guidelines:
- Candidates can fill out the form in multiple sessions — progress will be saved automatically.
- Double-check all details before paying the application fee, as no edits will be allowed after payment.
- Incomplete or incorrect information may result in the immediate rejection of your application.
- SC/ST/PwD candidates must upload valid category certificates during the registration process. Category changes are not allowed post-registration.
