IIM Trichy also known as IIM Tiruchirappalli, was established in 2011. It is the 11th IIM and is one of the baby IIMs. It is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and is a member of AACSB. IIM Trichy is a prestigious national institute. Apart from its flagship PGP program, it also offers PGPM for executives (PGPBM), PhD, and EPhD.
From 2026 onwards, IIM Trichy will follow the Joint Admission Process along with IIM Ranchi, IIM Kashipur, and IIM Raipur. All applicants must first appear for the CAT/GMAT for the PGP program and the CAT/IIMB for PhD programs. IIM Trichy has more than 45 faculty members.
