IIT MANDI Admission Process

IIT Tirupati follows a structured, merit-based, and transparent admission process for all its academic programs, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Admission to each course is based on national-level entrance examinations such as JEE Advanced, GATE, JAM, and UGC/CSIR-NET, followed by centralized counseling or departmental selection processes. 

JEE Main and JEE Advanced:

• Applicants have to first appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.
• Those who qualify in JEE Main can then appear for JEE Advanced.
• Admission is based on the JEE Advanced rank.
• Seat allocation takes place through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

M.Tech Programs:

• Candidates must have a valid score on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
• Seat allocation occurs through Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) counselling.

For the MSc programs:

•  Candidates must have a valid Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) score.
• Seat allocation is handled by the Centralized Counselling for MSc/MTech (CCMN).

For M.A. Programs:

• A written test will be conducted by IIT TIRUPATI, and further information will be notified on the official website of IIT TIRUPATI .

Application Process

• Visit the Application Portal: Access https://iittp.ac.in/.
• Register: Create an account using a mobile number and email address.
• Fill in Personal Details: Enter the personal information, upload a photo and signature, and provide educational qualifications.
• Select Programs: Choose the desired courses or programs. The same username can be used for multiple applications.
• Upload Documents: Submit required documents such as mark sheets and identification proof.
• Pay the Fee: Complete the application by paying the required fee online.
