IMS BHU Admission is through marks obtained in NEET UG, NEET PG, and NEET MDS for all MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, BAMS, B.Pharma, MS/ MD, BDS, MDS, and M.Pharm courses. For B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc in Health Statistics, admission is through merit in the last qualifying examination. For PhD, a student has to clear BHU-RET conducted by the university. According to BHU Overall NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during UG 5-year and PG 3-year placements 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA and INR 13.5 LPA respectively. Previously, according to BHU NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during BHU UG 5-year and PG 3-year placements 2022 stood at INR 15 LPA and INR 13.50 LPA, respectively. The institute has earlier published the NIRF report 2022. As per NIRF report 2022, in the year 2020 placement, 10 MBBS students were placed and during the year 2021 placement, 128 students of PG courses got placement. Also, during 2020 placements, the median package offered to MBBS students was INR 14 LPA.
