University of Kalyani offers financial assistance to meritorious and economically backwards class students. The university provides merit scholarship, merit cum means scholarship, and apart from these two scholarships, all other scholarships are provided by the Govt, UGC, such as UGC Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship, State Govt. Merit/Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, UGC Merit Scholarship, and UGC Scholarship for M.Phil SC/ST Students.

 

The Merit Scholarship offered at the University of Kalyani is for students who have secured 60% marks in aggregate and must have 75% attendance, and the Merit Cum Means Scholarship is for those who have secured 55% marks in aggregate with 75% attendance. Indira Gandhi Single Child is an award worth INR 20,000 per year to a single child for PG courses.
