There are six specializations offered under the engineering programs like B.tech offered at KNIT. The selection involves getting a good percentile in the JEE Main, followed by counseling in UPTAC. KNIT offers master of technology in five different disciplines.Candidates are shortlisted based on the GATE scores and must have completed their graduation in engineering with a minimum of 50% marks. The MCA program constitutes a two-year post-graduate course. Eligibility opens to all Bachelor's degree holders in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Admission is done based on CUET PG scores along with a counseling session.

PhD programs are available in engineering, humanities, and applied sciences. Applicants must be holders of a Master's or Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution in first-class division to seek admission into any of the above-mentioned programs.
