Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College and Hospital - [MKCG], is a government medical college cum hospital situated in Berhampur, Ganjam in the state of Odisha. Although the medical college began functioning in 1962, the hospital was established in 1966. It is named after Krushna Chandra Gajapati, the late Maharaja of Parlakhemundi, Ganjam. The college began providing undergraduate courses from 1963 and post-graduate courses nine years thereafter. Presently, it educates 150 UG students, 95 PG students and 30 diploma students. Apart from 800 beds in 8 non clinical and 23 clinical departments, it consists of a tele-medicine unit provided by ISRO.
