Nitte School of Architecture, Planning & Design also known as NSAPD, was established in 2016 under the Nitte Education Trust, is a premier institution dedicated to cultivating skilled architects, urban planners, and designers. Located in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, NSAPD offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including B.Arch, B.Plan, B.Des, and M.Plan, all approved by the AICTE, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and holds memberships with the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
It is the only institution in Karnataka to offer the AICTE-approved B.Plan program. NSAPD is approved by the Council of Architecture (CoA), Institute of Town Planners India (ITPI), and the Government of Karnataka. It is also affiliated with VTU. NSAPD Admission 2025
Nitte School of Architecture, Planning & Design (NSAPD), Bengaluru, follows a clear and merit-based admission process for its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. For admission to the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and secured at least 50% aggregate marks, or hold a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics and a minimum of 50% marks. In addition, a valid NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) score is compulsory. Admission is conducted through three channels: Karnataka CET (KEA), COMED-K, and Management Quota.
For the Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan), candidates are required to have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates from Karnataka). A valid score in entrance exams such as NATA, CET, COMED-K, or JEE (Paper 3) is considered for admission.
The Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program is open to students from all streams Science, Commerce, or Arts who have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for Karnataka-reserved categories). Admission is offered based on merit in the qualifying exam, with no entrance exam required.
For the Master of Planning (M.Plan) program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. While a GATE or CEED score is preferred, admission is primarily based on academic performance and program relevance.
