Admission is granted based on entrance exam scores from CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT, or other recognized exams. Candidates must also meet the minimum eligibility criteria. XIME Bangalore provides a PhD program under the guidance of the University of Mysore. Candidates must have a master’s degree and candidates with an M.Phil degree are also eligible for PhD admissions. An entrance test is conducted for PhD admissions. Candidates who have appeared for UGC-NET/GATE and scored valid marks or have JRF are exempted from appearing in the entrance test.
The annual fee for full-time applicants is ₹80,000 while for part-time scholars, it is ₹1.5 Lakhs.

XIME Bangalore Application Process 2025 will be in online mode only. Candidates don't have to send a hard copy of the completed application form to XIME. The steps to follow while applying for admission at XIME Bangalore are mentioned below.
Step 1: Registration
Candidates who are within the eligibility criteria of the chosen course have to register at XIME Bangalore's official website (https://www.xime.org/)
Step 2: Verification
Verify your registered mobile number. Candidates have to enter their valid mobile number while registering as further communication will be made on the provided mobile number and email.
Step 3: Application form
As XIME Bangalore applications will be filled online only. Candidates have to note the beginning and closing dates of applications.
Step 4: Application fee
Use a credit/debit card, net banking, or mobile wallet to make the online application fee payment. The application fee for the first preference is ₹2,000 but if a candidate has a second preference then an additional ₹250 has to be paid. The application is non-refundable.
Step 5: Submission

No, KMAT scores are only accepted at the Kochi campus of XIME. At XIME Bangalore, the accepted exams are CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, etc. TANCET scores are accepted at XIME Chennai.

SC/ST candidates should have 45% aggregate scores in their bachelor’s degree. The candidate must have graduated from an accredited university.

Final-year candidates are eligible to apply at XIME Bangalore but their final-year examinations must be completed before June 25, 2025, and the proof of passing with marks must be submitted before September 30, 2025. Candidates who haven’t cleared their backlogs during graduation are not eligible to apply.
The entrance test of PhD is of 100 marks and lasts for 3 hours. The pattern of the test is similar to UGC-NET. It consists of 50 objective-type questions that carry 1 mark each and short/essay-type answer questions carry 50 marks total. Candidates must score 55 out of 100 marks if they belong to the General category. For SC/ST/OBC category candidates, the minimum passing mark is 50.
Documents that are a must during the time of admission to the XIME Bangalore PG courses are the eligibility certificate, latest passport-size color photographs, caste certificate, migration certificate (CBSE/ICSE, etc.), transfer certificate (from the last institute), course & conduct certificate (from the last institute), 12th mark sheet, and graduation marksheets.
