B.Sc. Mathematics syllabus is aimed at giving students an in-depth overview of mathematical theory and practice. During the first year of study, the students will be presented with key disciplines, including Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, and Probability & Statistics, the study of which is necessary to acquire good analytical and problem-solving skills. Finally, the problem set revolves around more advanced ideas such as Complex Analysis, Numerical Methods, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Programming and Operations Research. Project work or seminars, or sometimes incorporated into the curriculum to encourage self-research and communication skills. The structure guarantees graduates are ready to pursue higher education or work in planning in academic institutions, research, finance, data science, and so on.

BSc Mathematics Exam Pattern

The pattern of B.Sc Mathematics examination is such that it tests both the theoretical knowledge and understanding and the practical application by mixing written tests, in-class testing, and also project work in a few cases. It is briefly described below:
