SMS Lucknow (School of Management Sciences) was established in 2008 by the SMS Society. It is recognised under section 2(f) & 12(B) of the UGC Act of 1956. It has also been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A+' Grade and is ISO 9001:2015 certified. The ISO 9001:2015 certification means that the institute follows quality processes that meet international standards.
Affiliated with Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), it offers full-time undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and certificate programs in Engineering, Science, IT & Software, Business & Management Studies and Accounting & Commerce. Admissions are based on merit and entrance exams, such as UGET (University of Lucknow), LUACMAT, CUET UG, CUET PG, JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT and SMS Online test, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) for select courses.
Spread across a 16-acre campus, the School of Management Sciences, Lucknow, provides various facilities, including a conference hall which can accommodate over 160 people at a time, a multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 300, smart classrooms, hostels for boys and girls, cafeterias, a mess, a sports ground and a gym. The results are expected to be declared in the first week of January 2026. The CAT registration fee has been increased to INR 2,600 for General category candidates and INR 1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
