JEE Advanced 2027 Tie-Breaking Policy
If two or more candidates get the same aggregate marks in JEE Advanced exam, then the following tie-breaking policy will be followed.
- Candidates with higher positive marks will be awarded a higher rank.
- If a tie exists, the candidate with the higher marks in Mathematics will be assigned a higher rank.
- If this does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Physics.
- Even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank if there is a tie.
