BITS Pilani WILP offers an online examination system that is flexible and open to remote learners. The assessment process is designed to be accessible and student-centric, with the inclusion of different formats like MCQ and descriptive formats. Each course has both a mid-semester and a comprehensive exam. These exams are generally held on weekends, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Students are required to be physically present at a designated exam centre to take their tests, based on the official schedule and guidelines provided ahead of each exam. Exams can be taken at any of the 34 authorised centres across various cities in India.

The university uses both proctored and non-proctored modes of examination depending on the course and subject.

Evaluation Criteria

Re-evaluation & Re-exam Rules

- Re-examination: Students who miss an exam or fail are eligible for a re-exam as per university norms. Additional fees may apply for this process.
- Improvement Exam: The Improvement option is available for students who wish to improve their grades in specific subjects.
Result Timeline
Results are usually declared within a few weeks after the completion of term-end examinations. Students can check their scores on the student portal.
