The APJ Abdul Kalam School of Environmental Design (SEED), located in Muvattupuzha, Kerala, was established in 2018. SEED offers a five-year, full-time UG program in Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch). Topics such as climate responsive design, urbanism, housing, materiality and construction detailing and landscape integration are covered across the duration of the course.

  • To apply for the B.Arch program at SEED, candidates need to have passed class 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) or completed a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics

Admission to the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) at SEED is based on merit in NATA.

  • Visit official college website or contact SEED directly for the application form
  • Submit the completed form along with required documents and valid NATA score
  • Admission is based on a combined evaluation of academic marks (50%) and NATA score (50%), along with SEE performance.
  • The institute releases a merit list after the NATA results are out.
  • If qualified, candidates need to then appear for the Seed Entrant Evaluation (SEE), which is an internal assessment process,
  • The SEE may also include a portfolio presentation
  • Upon final selection, candidates should make sure that all necessary documents are submitted and the required fee is paid at the institute.

Is it mandatory to apply through Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical, and Pharmacy Entrance Exam (KEAM)?

Only Kerala domicile candidates or those seeking subsidised fee structures under government quota are required to apply through KEAM, it is not required for management or NRI quota applicants, who can apply directly to SEED. KEAM is the entrance process managed by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. A valid NATA score is mandatory, regardless of applying through KEAM or directly through SEED.

What are the eligibility criteria for the B.Arch program at SEED?

To be eligible for the B.Arch programme, candidates need to have passed class 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) or a 10+3 Diploma with mathematics.
