The APJ Abdul Kalam School of Environmental Design (SEED), located in Muvattupuzha, Kerala, was established in 2018. It offers a Council of Architecture (COA) approved 5 year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course, with a focus on environmental design. The annual intake for the programme is 80 students, with an additional 40 seats reserved under the Management and NRI category.
Candidates registering under the management or NRI category need to submit their application forms directly through SEED and participate in the institute’s internal evaluation process called the SEED Entrant Evaluation (SEE), once shortlisted. SEED offers a five-year, full-time UG program in Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch). Topics such as climate responsive design, urbanism, housing, materiality and construction detailing and landscape integration are covered across the duration of the course.
- To apply for the B.Arch program at SEED, candidates need to have passed class 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) or completed a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics
