Details

Rooms

Residents must occupy assigned rooms and cannot change without Sub-Warden permission. Rooms and toilets must be kept clean. Lights and fans should be switched off when not in use. Waste baskets kept outside for disposal. Rooms available only during term or End Semester exams. Management can access rooms during holidays except weekends. Belongings may be kept in separate rooms or cupboards, except in summer.

Prayer

Christian worship conducted daily in College Chapel at 8:05 a.m. and 1:05 p.m. All Christian students are expected to attend; others are welcome. Every hostel has a prayer room. No other religious ceremonies allowed except Christian worship.

Study Hours

8:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. on all days except Saturdays. Residents must stay in rooms with doors/windows open. Lights switched off by 11:30 p.m.

Silence Hours

10:15 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. All disturbing activities prohibited. Silence is maintained even on holidays.

Library Hours

The library is open till 9:30 p.m. on weekdays for study and reference use.

Dining

Students cannot enter the kitchen. Mess timings: Breakfast 7:15–9:00 a.m., Lunch Shift II 12:15–1:15 p.m., Shift I 1:30–2:30 p.m., Dinner 7:00–8:15 p.m. Meals served only in Dining Hall. Vegetarian food daily, non-veg thrice weekly. Packed lunch available with prior intimation. Special meal arrangements possible with Warden’s permission. Guests are not allowed.

Visitors

Visiting hours: Sundays/holidays 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., other days 4:00–7:00 p.m. Only women visitors were allowed with Warden’s permission. College-approved service providers require prior Warden approval.

Medical Facilities

Visiting doctor available thrice a week. Full-time nurse available 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Saturday. Illness must be reported to the Warden. Serious cases referred to hospitals with parental knowledge. Self-medication is discouraged.

Guidance and Counselling

Professional Counsellor available twice a week. Provides support for exam stress, personal and social problems. Conducts workshops throughout the year free of charge.
