Admission: The teachers here are really nice, especially the head of the department. They always support us to work on cool projects like making a microcontroller unit-based project or an IoT project. It's a great way to learn things practically. Our professor has around 10 to 14 years of experience, and some IIT students also lend a hand. Being Makaut students, we have a flexible semester structure which can make passing a bit tricky. But if you put in the effort and stay focused, passing is totally doable.
Placement: I'm a 3rd year student studying electronics and communication engineering. I'm not sure about the exact placement packages, but I've heard they range from 2 LPA to 14 LPA. Last winter break, some seniors did a web development internship, and others took a VLSI course at Jadavpur.
Campus: The hostel is good for students, and the rooms always have Wi-Fi. There are indoor games, robotics clubs, and everyone plays friendly cricket and football every day. Sometimes we even organize cricket-volleyball matches. It's fun hanging out here!

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and know their stuff. They have fancy degrees and teach in cool ways like showing real-life examples and making us work in groups. The stuff we learn matches up with what's actually used in the real world. When we take exams, the school watches us with cameras and you need to get at least a 40% to pass.
Placement: Around 60% of us got jobs right after college, which was pretty cool. Some of us ended up working for good companies. The highest salary offered was 7 LPA, while the average was 4.5 LPA. A bunch of us also landed internships at top companies through the course. Companies like Jindal, Brainium, TCS, Accenture, and Infosys came to recruit us for roles like System Engineer and Graduate Trainee.
Campus: The college I go to has a great vibe. The Wi-Fi is super fast, making it easy to get online for school stuff. The labs are top-notch for all the different subjects we study. The classrooms are big and comfy. The library is awesome they've got tons of books for every need, from textbooks to novels to exam prep books. And there's a special spot just for studying. The hostel rooms are nice, with everything you need like a desk, chair, and closet. We've got chill hangout spots in the hostel too. Food is decent, with options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. Plus, there's a canteen with snacks and drinks. There's a medical center on campus with a good doctor. They're big on fitness here, with lots of sports facilities like fields for cricket, football, and more. And every year, we have fun departmental games to get involved in.

Admission: The teachers at CEMK are really cool. Most of them have Ph.D. degrees, and they know their stuff. The course follows the GATE syllabus, and we have 8 term exams in a year. They're not too tough, but you gotta study every day to do well. You need at least 5 out of 10 to pass each subject. It's a good place if you're willing to put in the effort.
Placement: The college used to have great placement opportunities back in 201213, but now it's not that good. Big companies aren't coming to our college anymore, and the person in charge of placements isn't very active. But if you work hard, you can still get a job. This year, around 40 students from the Computer Science and Engineering department got placed. The average salary is 6 lakhs per annum, and the highest offer was 16 lakhs per annum from an off-campus company. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant hire a lot of students from our college.
Campus: The college has a great setup, with a big building for classes and labs, plus a cool workshop. The Computer Science department is top-notch. The labs are always in good shape, and the Wi-Fi works well. The library has tons of books. If a book isn't there, just tell the librarian, and they'll get it in a few days. The hostels are safe, no bullying here, and you always have power and internet. The food at the mess is okay, not bad. If you like sports, this is the place for you. They have awesome facilities and events like departmental sports and ATHLEEMA. You can play cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, and indoor games on campus.

Admission: The teachers here are really great. They come from top universities like Jadavpur and IIT Kgp, so they're super smart. They're always ready to help you out whenever you need it. They teach us in lots of different ways, which is cool. The exams are getting harder, but the professors make it easy for us to understand. Our college has a high pass rate of 97%.
Placement: Our college has a Placement Cell that helps students find jobs. Since it's a tier 3 college, the placement stats aren't amazing, but the college works hard to bring companies on campus. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra visit every year to hire students. About 90% of students get placed every year. Last year, the lowest salary was 1.5lpa and the highest was 5lpa. Some startups also come for internships, and a few even offer PPOs.
Campus: Our college has 4 blocks. The East block is new and has a modern library and book bank. The West block is right in front, with first-year classes and department head offices. The South block has all the labs, and the North block is for theory classes. When I got to the hostel, it was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are well-lit, well-kept, and pretty cool.

Admission: Exams at our college are held with CCTV to prevent cheating. The questions come from MAKAUT University. Teachers are really supportive and the way they teach is great. The faculty is super nice. Almost all students, about 95%, pass their semester exams.
Placement: The job placements here are awesome! Almost 85% of students get hired every year. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and more come to hire. On average, students get a 5 LPA package. The highest package is around 12 LPA.
Campus: The college and hostel here are really nice. The college building looks great and the hostels are kept clean by some workers. The classrooms have projectors, the labs have fast Wi-Fi, and there's a library too. Overall, it's a good setup.

Admission: The teachers are really supportive and always give their best to help us succeed. They don't focus much on extra skills needed for jobs though. There aren't many chances for internships and jobs, making it tough to land one. But things seem to be improving this year compared to last year.
Placement: The placement scene here is okay. The highest salary offered is around 300000 and the lowest is 120000. TCS is the top company that comes for recruitment. Some companies visit, but they don't hire a lot of students. Since there aren't many students, the salaries offered are not very high. Also, the facilities here are limited.
Campus: The classrooms and library are great. In the hostel, everyone has a LAN connection, which is awesome. The hostel rooms are nice and the campus is really big with lots of natural surroundings. The teachers here are super helpful and make learning easy. They support us not just academically but also in our everyday life.

Admission: The professors here are super helpful and always there for us when we need them. They teach really well and make sure everyone understands. The exams are not too hard, so it's not too stressful.
Placement: The placements here used to be really good in the past years. Most students got placed. But now, because of the recession, not as many companies are coming. But if you know your stuff, you can still get placed. This year, in 2023, the average placement rate is 74%, with an average salary of 6.0 LPA.
Campus: Our college has awesome facilities like labs, a library, a gym, and sports courts. The hostel provides round-the-clock electricity and water. The food in the mess is budget-friendly and flexible. Plus, every student in the hostel gets their own LAN cable.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and they're super helpful. The classes are good quality and the course they offer is top-notch. The computer science program sets us up well for the industry. The exams are not too hard, just average.
Placement: Most students in our course get jobs, around 90%. The highest salary is between 13 to 14 LPA. The average salary is around 4.5 to 5 LPA. Big companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, IBM, and HCL hire students from our college. Many students also land internships here. I can't recall the exact percentage, but internships are common. Popular job roles include software developer, front-end developer, system engineer, and network security engineer.
Campus: The college setup is basic but good. There are classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi all around. The library is big too. The hostel rooms are okay, nothing fancy. Food in the mess is just okay. Admission: The teachers here are awesome and super qualified with M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees. They really know their stuff. The course content is spot on and gets us ready for real-life work as engineers. The exams aren't too tough; if you study well a month before, you'll pass with no problem.
Placement: Most students at our college get jobs after they graduate. Last year, the salaries ranged from 2.5 to 18 LPA, with an average of 5 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro hire a lot of students. Around half of us get internships in our third year. After finishing the course, many of us end up working for service-based companies.
Campus: The classrooms and library are pretty nice. The hostel rooms are okay, but they all have Wi-Fi. The food in the hostel isn't great though. It's not very tasty or varied. They serve the same stuff a lot, and it's not very nutritious. I wish they had more options for us to choose from.
