CEPT University offers various scholarships. The scholarships are designed to reward meritorious students and provide financial assistance to those in need. The University reserves the right to decline the scholarship application if the applicant fails to provide any required supporting documents. The announcement of the scholarship comes with the Admission Offer Letter, but the disbursal of the amount is made one month after the semester/lectures commence. This document also outlines the eligibility criteria, application procedure, and scholarship amounts for each scholarship type.

CEPT University Scholarships

Scholarship Name

Eligibility Criteria

Pre-Admission Scholarship (Merit Based)

Awarded to top-ranking students based on merit in entrance exams. Requires admission offer and maintenance of minimum academic standards.

Pre-Admission Scholarship (Means Based)

Families with annual income less than INR 10,00,000 per annum. Scholarship continues throughout program if academic requirements are maintained.

Post-Admission Scholarships

Available after admission, based on academic performance and financial need. Includes assistantships and merit-based awards.

CEPT - ARRA Scholarship

Fully merit-based scholarship specific to Faculty of Architecture students.

Erach & Meheroo Mehta Memorial-FFE Scholarship

Awarded based on academic excellence and financial need; candidates must submit required supporting documents.

Bank Loan Interest Subsidy

Subsidy of 50% repayment on interest paid during study period, available to eligible students using bank loans.

Shirish Beri Fellowship

Stipend granted to B.Arch students for six months to pursue research/travel related to architecture and design ideas.

 

 CEPT University Scholarships- Documents Required 

The documents required for CEPT University scholarship applications include:

  • Income Tax Returns of all earning family members for the last two years, along with detailed income computation.
  • If Income Tax Returns are not filed, an annual family income certificate will be issued by the appropriate government authority.
  • Form 16/Salary Certificate from the employer for salaried parents for the last two years.
  • Audited balance sheet and profit & loss account for business income, if applicable.
  • List of immovable properties and investments owned by the family with approximate market value.
  • Bank statements for the last six months.
  • Annual Information Statement (AIS) (part of Form 26AS) for the relevant financial years.
  • Students must state that they are not receiving any other government/private scholarships or grants.
  • Family income declaration by parents/guardians via affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper.
  • Copy of bank passbook or a blank crossed cheque (account must be in the student's name).
  • Details of educational expenses of siblings and any government/other help they receive.
  • Receipt of fee payment for the last semester/year attended at the previous institution.

All documents should be uploaded in PDF format during the online application process. Missing any mandatory documents may result in rejection of the scholarship application.
