Admission: Joining CUSAT was a smooth experience. The online enrolment process was user friendly, the application fee felt reasonable, and the overall admission journey was straightforward and stress free.

Academic: From my experience, our college teachers and the Head of Department are very supportive. They helped me personally through some diploma issues. The course syllabus is fine and covers what's needed. Our training and placement section is also very good. They teach students how to face interviews, perform well in group discussions, and handle mock tests and all. However, semester exams are quite hard here, only around 45% clear them.

Placement: Our college brings in many companies for jobs and internships. About 85% of students managed to get placements. For our seniors, 70% got placed, and the others chose to do their own projects. The salary packages were decent, with the highest touching 10 LPA, the lowest being 1 LPA, and the average coming around 5 LPA. Plus, 60% of students got internships with various companies. We saw job roles like data analyst, policy analyst, and many more offered.

Campus: You can easily enroll in this college online through their official website, and the costs are quite fair and manageable for students. Our rooms come with two fans, and there's a constant supply of water and electricity available all day and night. Plus, the meals they provide are of good quality, especially breakfast which includes nutritious shakes, milk, and fruits.

Admission: My admission at CUSAT was smooth and organised. The online portal was easy to use, staff explained document verification clearly, counselling was well managed, and updates came on time.

Academic: At our college, the teachers are qualified and have a lot of experience. They are always there to help students whenever we need them. Also, they give good placement opportunities and guide us to join skill development programs to get certificates. For exams, they make sure we are well prepared. The staff members here are very friendly too, and their behavior is always good. Honestly, I haven't faced any negative experience with anyone here.

Placement: Talking about placements, most students here get into marketing roles. For other specialisations, the placements are quite low. But for marketing roles, the companies offer good salary packages, and we actually get more chances than students from other colleges. Apart from this, our college also has a good atmosphere.

Campus: The college campus, hostel facilities, and infrastructure here are all good. They dont have too many restrictions, which is a plus. The food quality is quite nice, but it is a bit expensive.

Admission: Getting admission in CUSAT was well managed. CAT results were declared on time, counselling rounds went smoothly, document verification was quick, and final registration did not take much time.

Academic: Our teachers here are helpful, smart, and know everything about their subjects. Their teaching style is so good, actually amazing. For the course, the syllabus is very relevant and even got approved by the Indian Engineers. Exams for each semester are not too hard, just a medium level, and almost everyone easily passes them.

Placement: For our course, the average salary package was around 8 LPA, and the highest went up to 36 LPA. Around 70% of students from our batch actually got jobs. Some good companies like Larsen & Turbo and GMR Infrastructure were among the top recruiters for us. Also, it's nice that roughly 40% of students were able to get internships.

Campus: The facilities and infrastructure for our course here are great. The hostel is also quite good, with fresh drinking water and clean washrooms available for everyone. Our labs are properly maintained and have all the instruments and machines we need. Plus, there is a library right on the campus.

Admission: Getting admission in CUSAT was clear and well managed. CAT results and merit list were timely, online counselling worked well, document verification was efficient, and staff support made the entire process easy.

Academic: What I've seen is our teachers are good at teaching. But the problem is the syllabus is super big, and we don't get much time to finish everything. So sometimes, not all chapters get taught properly. Our course is for two years, split into four semesters. Each semester has five subjects, and every subject has around six chapters which makes it quite big. Because of this, lectures can be long, even three hours sometimes without a break. All the exams, like class tests, mid-terms, and the final semester exams, are pretty hard to clear. Still, about 85 percent of our class manages to pass these exams.

Placement: If you're thinking about joining this M.Sc. Physics course, just know that you'll have to clear off-campus drives on your own. Don't rely on the college too much for placements. For engineering students, placements here are good, but for M.Sc. Physics, there are fewer opportunities. Even though the college tries, the demand for M.Sc. Physics graduates is just not that high. Roughly 60-70 percent of students get placed, and the rest either start their own thing or find jobs in other areas. For example, I wanted to be a teacher and actually got a job at IIT Bombay. Also, you need to find internships by yourself; LinkedIn is the best platform for that.

Campus: Our college is in a prime spot in the city, so all the necessary things are super easy to find. The classrooms here are pretty good, they have projectors, comfy benches, and green boards too. We do get Wi-Fi in both the hostel and classrooms; browsing speed is fine, but downloading is super slow, like, bad. As a hosteller, I have to say the food is terrible, the quality is just so poor. That's why I end up ordering a lot from Swiggy and Zomato. Also, we don't have a common auditorium, so most of our events are held outside the college campus.

Admission: The CUSAT admission process was well structured. Rank list and online counselling were clear, seat allotment was quick, document verification was smooth, and orientation helped settle in.

Academic: Our college's course curriculum is okay for today's needs, but it misses out on future stuff like AI. To be honest, we don't have enough permanent teachers, so some are not that experienced. But the good thing is, these same teachers are super helpful when you need help with internships and getting placed. Also, the semester exams are not tough at all, and almost everyone passes in all departments.

Placement: About placements, they are seriously good at our college. Almost everyone from my branch gets placed, especially if you dont have any pending subjects. Our college has one of the best placement rates in the country. The average salary package is usually between 6 to 7 LPA, with the top offer touching 25 LPA and the minimum being 3 to 4 LPA. Companies hire us for roles like software engineers and data engineers. Good thing is, almost all students also get internship opportunities.

Campus: Our college has good facilities and infrastructure. We have projectors in all the classrooms, and the libraries are good, filled with all kinds of books. Plus, Wi-Fi is also there in the libraries, which is helpful. The university hostel is pretty nice and cheap, and the food quality is high. But, one thing is, they don't give much focus on sports and games here.

Admission: My admission started smoothly with online registration. The merit list came out on time, counselling slots were allotted properly, and although verification was crowded, staff were patient and helpful.

Academic: My experience here, our college teachers are good and know a lot. They always try to give their best to us. When we reach the last semesters, even HODs teach us, which helps us see how things work in the real engineering world. Since it's a government college, our professors are top standard. I'm doing M.Sc, it's a 2-year course, and we have exams every semester. I always got good marks in all my terms. For each subject, the main exam is 70 marks. Then we have internal exams, like a 40-mark in-house exam and a 10-mark class test. Our course syllabus is quite new and updated. Especially the math methods they teach us, they are good. But if they add more technology in teaching, I think it would make everything smoother and faster.

Placement: Our college has pretty good placement records. Students from the second year can start applying for jobs. Companies like Infosys, UST Global, and EY often visit for campus placements. The institute also gives us lots of internship opportunities. In fact, for all M.Sc. courses, the final semester is totally set aside just for internships. Placements aren't super high, but they aren't low either. If you are clever and focused on your subject, then you have a good chance to get a job here. Also, in the first year's second semester, we do a project on Stereography, and our marks depend on how well we do that.

Campus: Being a residential course, staying in the hostel is compulsory for us. The hostel itself is good, and you get all the facilities here. There's enough space for studying and also for entertainment. On the flip side, the rules in the hostel are very strict, and the wardens are not great.

Admission: Getting admission in CUSAT felt simple and smooth. Online counselling registration was easy, the merit list came out on time, and document verification went quickly with helpful staff. The orientation session also explained everything clearly.

Academic: My experience with the teachers is mixed here. The permanent faculty are truly good and know a lot, many even have research papers published. But the contract faculty, they are not that great, mostly just postgraduates. Anyway, the course curriculum is super relevant for the industry. Exams are a bit funny, easy to pass but getting high marks is quite hard.

Placement: What I liked about B.Tech Safety and Fire Engineering is the good roles we get, like Safety and Fire Officer or Safety Design Engineer. Last year, placements were almost 100%, which is great. The top package was 22 LPA from Gail India Pvt Ltd, and the median was 7 LPA. Most of my batchmates got placed in Adani group of construction. Cairn Oil and Gas also gave paid internships to many students in the previous year.

Campus: Our college hostels are mostly well-kept, and the mess food here is awesome. For anyone into sports, there is a dedicated sports arena too. We have good labs and a great university library, and the Wi-Fi works well for everyone. The classrooms are just okay, but honestly, the infrastructure overall is pretty basic, nothing special.

Admission: When I applied, the CUSAT admission process felt well planned. Seeing my name on the merit list was exciting, online registration was simple, and counselling, verification, and orientation were all handled well.

Academic: Our teachers are super helpful here; they guide us for exams. With their help, passing exams becomes much easier for us. Also, the semester exams themselves are of good quality. The course curriculum is important for studying for these exams, but it mostly gives us only theoretical knowledge, which is one thing to note.

Placement: Around 70% of students from our college get good internships. For final placements, usually 60% of students get jobs every year. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, with the average salary being 5 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Many companies like Infosys, Cognizant, UST Global, TCS Prime and Digital, EY, IBM, Experion Technologies, Lektik, IPA, Forbes Marshall, and Schneider Electronics come here to recruit.

Campus: What I can say about my college is that it has a nice building and the labs here are good too. But yeah, sometimes we do face issues with Wi-Fi and server problems. For the engineering section, our college only offers three streams: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Honestly, the food in the canteen is not that great, and it's a bummer that there isn't a proper ground for sports activities.

Admission: My admission at CUSAT was well organised. The CAT exam process was clear, and once the merit list was released, the online counselling portal guided me properly. Document verification was smooth, staff helped patiently, and orientation was useful.

Academic: The teachers here are friendly, and their teaching methods are quite good. Most of them are very experienced too. You know, about 30% of the faculty usually move to government colleges or bigger industries for more exposure after just one year. Coming to the syllabus, the KTU one doesn't make students ready for industry work. We can't blame the college for that, but the good thing is they offer special training. This training is based on the latest industry trends, and they give us three different options. We can pick any domain we like and get trained properly.

Placement: In my experience, the college helps students with placements, especially if you are skilled. They give like 100% opportunities and around 75% of students actually get placed. Our placement coordinators are very encouraging and serious about training us well. We get visits from top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. About half the students, 50%, also get internship chances. Common job roles include software engineer and full-stack developer. The highest salary package here is more than 10 LPA, with an average of 6 to 7 LPA. The lowest package you can expect is 3 to 4 LPA.

Campus: I'm a hosteler here, and I can say the hostel is kept well. Even the food quality is decent, and they stick to their schedule and food menu properly. Talking about the college, the infrastructure and facilities are good. Classrooms are nice, well-maintained and furnished. Also, all classrooms and labs have cameras for surveillance. Plus, the Wi-Fi connection is strong.

Admission: The admission process at CUSAT was better than expected. Registration, counselling, and document verification were well organised, staff were helpful, and communication about orientation was timely.

Academic: When it comes to our teachers, most of them are good and know their stuff well. But then, you also have some teachers who just don't care much about teaching. They aren't regular in class sometimes, and a few even act like they have some personal issues with students, showing that in how they treat us. Still, honestly, most of the faculty here are quite decent.

Placement: For B.Tech Marine Engineering students, placements are good here. For the past three years, almost everyone got placed, unless they had backlogs. If you pass all your exams without any backlogs, your placement is pretty much confirmed. The jobs are usually for cadets or 5th engineers on ships. Because everyone gets similar roles in the same field, most of the salary packages are quite similar. On average, you can expect to earn around 50,000 rupees per month. Big companies like Synergy and M.Sc. Feet come to our college for hiring.

Campus: Hostel rooms here are quite good. Three of us share one room, and it never feels crowded because each room has three beds, study tables, fans, and wardrobes for everyone. About the food, it's good with lots of variety, and the quality is never bad. It's hygienic and tastes nice, plus they give enough quantity so you're always full. The cleaning is also good; bathrooms are cleaned every day except Saturday, and cleaning staff comes to clean rooms every three days. The only thing is there's no Wi-Fi, but besides that, other facilities are satisfactory. Entertainment choices are just okay.
