Admission: After getting selected for Coimbatore Medical College, the counselling process was clear and smooth. Document verification was handled efficiently, registration was hassle-free, and the orientation gave a good overview of what to expect.

Academic: Teachersy know so much and have loads of experience. Plus, they are very friendly and you can always reach out to them easily if you have any questions or doubts. For mornings, we have clinical classes. That's where we meet patients, take their cases and basically just observe and learn. Then, in the afternoon session, we have our regular college classes.

Placement: Since this is a medical college, for the MBBS course we currently have 200 students in each batch. After students finish their final year, they do an internship for one whole year at our Coimbatore Medical College hospital. The best part is, they also get a salary during that internship year.

Campus: Our college has good facilities for sure. We have separate classrooms for each batch and for every subject, and all of them come with projectors. You can also find labs and even museums here. There is a common library too, which students can use whenever they want. For staying, there are different hostels for boys and girls. Plus, we have big grounds available for playing all sorts of games.

Admission: When I got selected at CMC, I was worried about formalities, but counselling was transparent and on schedule. From document submission to final registration, everything moved on time with clear guidance.

Academic: Our teachers here are really knowledgeable and they are well-trained too. They always help us out with our study questions. Every day, we have small slip tests, without fail. I think the teaching quality is just average, like moderate. We also have SPM visits now, which is part of the new NMC curriculum for competency-based medical education.

Placement: Everyone doing MBBS will become a doctor later, that's for sure. It's not just about clearing exams; actually getting proper knowledge is super important. Our college has 200 MBBS seats, which started from the 2021-2022 batch. The only problem is that our college hospital is quite far, around 13 to 24 km away from the main college campus.

Campus: So, our college building is actually quite old, it was started in 1966, but the infrastructure here is pretty good overall. They even made a new building for lectures and a separate girls' hostel for first-year students. The only real issue is there's no Wi-Fi facility in the college. But I gotta say, the hostel food was super amazing, they even gave evening snacks and refreshments which was nice.

Admission: Getting admission into Coimbatore Medical College was straightforward. Online registration worked well, offline document verification was quick, and staff guided us through every requirement without confusion.

Academic: From my experience here, the college gives really good clinical exposure. We start going to the clinics right from our second year, which means we get a full four years of practical experience, and that's super useful. The teachers are also very well qualified, and in the clinics, both professors and postgraduates teach us. Most of them are actually quite happy to share their knowledge, which helps a lot.

Placement: Our internships here give us really good clinical exposure. We get to learn the basics of medicine properly, which helps a lot. This knowledge is super useful when students join their postgraduate courses later. Because it's a medical college, there are no placements as such. But many students try for postgraduate courses and they usually clear them in about a year.

Campus: Our hostels are super clean, and the food there is really good. We also have a big library that has all the medical books anyone could need, plus a quiet corner to bring your own books to study, which is great for graduates preparing for NEET. The college ground is large and well-kept. For sports, there's a good basketball court with proper lighting for night games, a badminton court, and a few table tennis tables. Inside the college building, there's a small canteen where you can grab coffee, tea, juice, and snacks like bajji or bonda, depending on the day. Next to it, the store sells stationery, books, and some quick snacks like biscuits and crisps. However, the bathroom facilities inside the college need a lot of improvement, especially the water supply which isn't good at all and should be fixed. One thing to note is that our college hospital is 7 km away, and they only provide a bus for final year students.

Admission: Joining CMC felt organised right from orientation day. Staff helped patiently during document verification and final registration, answering all doubts and ensuring a smooth start.

Academic: Everything in our college follows the NMC guidelines, which is very important. They use this competency-based medical education style, so we learn things practically. For easy understanding, they arrange roleplays for us. We also have competitive symposiums where students give seminars. And for discussing clinical studies, there are proper group discussions.

Placement: This college is a government media one. They focus a lot on practical, useful learning, which is great. Students get to dissect many cadavers, so we learn hands-on. The learning environment here is super good. Plus, they really push us to do self-directed learning and learn things on our own.

Campus: The food here is quite good, and it's nice that they change the menu often based on what students like. For the mess, you have to pay around INR 5000 to INR 6000. Last year, they even built a new hostel for first-year students, which is pretty cool. The hostel fee is INR 20000, and you pay this money at the start. Also, if someone gets sick, the college takes care of them right away.

Admission: My admission at Coimbatore Medical College went better than expected. The merit list was released on time, counselling was handled efficiently, and the document verification team was very supportive. From application to orientation, every step was clearly communicated, making the start seamless.

Academic: Teachers here are really good, you know? They know so much and have loads of experience. Plus, they're super friendly and always ready to help when we have doubts, so it's easy to talk to them. In the morning, we get to go for clinical classes. That's where we actually see patients and learn hands-on by taking cases. Then, later in the afternoon, we come back to college for our theory classes.

Placement: Because this is a medical college, we don't have typical job placements here. After students finish their final year, everyone must do a 1-year internship. We also get a stipend, which is like some money, while we are doing this internship. For anyone who wants to study further and do a PG course, they need to clear the NEET PG entrance exam.

Campus: Our college has a common library where students can study whenever they want. For classes, we have separate rooms for each batch and subject, and all of them have projectors. There are also labs and even museums here. Boys and girls get separate hostels. Plus, there are grounds to play games.

Admission: My admission at Coimbatore Medical College was handled well. Counselling instructions were clear, staff supported me during document verification, and updates about allotment and reporting dates came right on time. Registration felt easy to follow.

Academic: My experience here, we get really good practical learning. Every morning, our clinical classes are held at the government hospital where we see so many patients and learn to handle different cases with all sorts of diseases. In the afternoons, we have our regular college classes. Also, I must say, our professors are very knowledgeable and have a lot of experience.

Placement: In our medical college, we don't have placements like other courses. Instead, after finishing the final year, everyone does a one-year internship. During this internship, we also get a salary, which is nice. After that year is done, you have to write the NEET PG exam if you want to get into a PG course.

Campus: Our college has separate classrooms for each batch of students. For studies, we have proper labs, a dissection hall, and museums available for our subjects. Also, there are separate hostels here for both boys and girls. Students can make full use of our college canteen and library too.

Admission: Getting into CMC was a long journey, but it was managed well. Counselling was thorough, merit list updates were timely, and although document verification took time, the staff were patient. Registration and orientation cleared most doubts and felt organised.

Academic: Our teachers here are really helpful and super smart. All of them are educated and know a lot, many even have MD degrees. They teach us in a way that's easy to understand and keeps things interesting. But the course curriculum changes every year and it just gets tougher. Because of this, our semester exams become a lot harder to deal with.

Placement: It's a bit different for medical students here because we don't get placements directly from college like other streams. You have to clear exams to get a government job or look for work in a private hospital after finishing your studies. But don't worry, everyone, like all 100% of students, definitely gets an internship. And after that, more than 90% of us end up getting good jobs, either with the government or in private hospitals.

Campus: My college has separate labs and classrooms for each of its 19 subjects. Only the library is common for everyone. We have four separate hostel buildings, and each year gets its own mess inside the hostel. The canteen is also for everyone, and the food served there is of good quality. Since it's a medical college, we get really good medical help whenever needed.

Admission: Getting selected in CMC was a huge relief. The administration clearly explained document verification steps, staff guided us patiently during registration, and orientation cleared most doubts. The process felt surprisingly smooth.

Academic: I like about our college is how easy it is to talk to all the professors. They guide us well with our projects and share their past experiences too. Many of them are from really good medical institutions and have a lot of practical knowledge from the medical field. Our daily schedule for the course curriculum is also good, with clinicals in the morning and theory in the afternoon. This mix helps us understand cases much better.

Placement: From my experience, the clinical classes in the hospital are super helpful. We get to see many different cases there, which means we learn a lot more hands-on. The college also conducts many academic events, like quizzes and CME. A good thing is that almost 50% of our students get good ranks in the NEET PG exam. Plus, it's nice to know that many of our past students are now working in really good hospitals.

Campus: What I like about our college is the big playground we have on campus. The hostel facilities are also pretty good; rooms are for three people and the mess food is nice. Plus, there's a hostel council to help with any hostel related stuff. The college building itself is old, though. Our library is well-stocked with books from all authors, but sadly, it doesn't have Wi-Fi.

Admission: Getting into Coimbatore Medical College felt unreal at first. Counselling was intense, but once my name appeared on the merit list, things moved smoothly. Document verification was thorough, registration was easy, and orientation helped me settle in quickly with supportive staff around.

Academic: Our teachers at Coimbatore Medical College are really great. They are super experienced and honestly, they love teaching so much. It's easy to just go and ask them any doubts we have. The curriculum here is also very good. They have these vertical and horizontal integration programs which are quite effective for learning stuff and using it later in clinical practice. For exams, every year we have a semester exam for 100 marks. We must score more than 50 marks to pass, and this 50 is a mix of both our theory and practical marks.

Placement: In our college, for MBBS students, there are no direct placements. If you want to get into PG or land a government job in a hospital, you need to clear exams like NEET PG or MRV. But, our college offers a one-year internship that every student has to do. They pay 28,000 rupees monthly for this. Also, there are many PG options available right here, like Anesthesia, General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry. Even super specialty courses are there.

Campus: From my experience, getting a room in our college hostel is easy since every student is eligible. They start by putting three of us in one room, which is actually great for meeting new friends. The hostel area is very calm and peaceful, and we have all the bathroom facilities we need. There's also a separate mess just for hostel students. We can easily access the gym and the big sports ground. Speaking of sports, our college offers a lot of games like cricket, football, and athletics. And if you like reading, there's a huge library with almost 10,000 books. Also, the food they serve in the hostel mess is quite good.

Admission: Getting into Coimbatore Medical College felt well structured. State counselling was clear, seat allotment was transparent, and document verification went smoothly with helpful staff. Registration and orientation were organised, making the final steps easy.

Academic: The teachers at Coimbatore Medical College are really knowledgeable. They know both the book stuff and how to deal with patients in real life. Their way of teaching was super interesting too. Every year, we have university exams here, both written and practical. We must pass these exams to go to the next year.

Placement: Many students from our course got placed, around 150 actually. But for medical jobs, placements weren't available directly. Instead, you had to pass an entrance exam for those spots. If you plan for further studies, they pay you Rs. 25,000 in the fifth year. Before you can even start that internship, you need to clear all your exams from the first four years.

Campus: The academic block at Coimbatore Medical College is quite large; it can hold up to 400 students easily. Overall, the college infrastructure was built really well. Our hostel is eco-friendly, and the food there is good quality. They even serve non-vegetarian food three times every week. And it's compulsory for all students to do sports every evening.
