Admission: Admission at CEG through TNEA counselling was smooth, with straightforward online registration and choice filling. After checking the rank list, the provisional allotment arrived quickly. Document verification at the campus was well-organized, and staff guided us properly. Final registration was hassle-free.
Academic: In my college, the teaching style is very practical, focusing on real-life applications more than just getting marks. Classes are always interactive, and I think the new curriculum has made things much better. Scoring marks here is pretty easy, but how much knowledge you gain totally depends on how much effort you put in. The question paper can be tricky sometimes, as it depends on which professor prepares it. Also, your presentation really matters for getting good scores. So, keeping good class notes is key to doing well in exams.
Placement: For students in the industrial department, most of us get good job placements. A few also go for higher studies at really good institutes, like IIM. Our college also supports us a lot if we want to get into entrepreneurship. So, lots of chances are there, it just depends on how much effort we put in.
Campus: What I like most here is that our college is really good for sports, especially if you play ball badminton, hockey, or throwball. We get free Wi-Fi too, which is great for our laptops. The library here is also very good, with lots of books and good facilities. Hostel infrastructure is good, no complaints there. But yeah, the mess food taste is a bit of a problem, especially at lunchtime. Oh, and health facilities are available if you ever need them.

Admission: Registration at College of Engineering, Anna University, progressed smoothly via TNEA. Online steps were simple, merit list checks were easy, and cooperative staff ensured hassle-free document verification.
Academic: From my experience, the teachers here are quite professional and highly qualified. Our college syllabus is nicely made, covering many subjects like power electronic drives and renewable energy. Even though semester exams can be a bit difficult, the passing percentage is 60%.
Placement: Talking about jobs and internships here, the highest salary package someone got was 20 lakh per year. Top companies like ABB, Mahindra Electric, Tata Power, and Siemens come for hiring. They offer roles such as application engineer, project engineering, and research. For internships, only a few companies like Bosch and L&T come.
Campus: Our library is pretty good; we can easily get research papers and journals from there. Also, all classrooms have Wi-Fi and projectors which makes studying easy. Labs are really well-equipped too, with power electronic converters, motor drives, and microcontrollers for practicals. Hostel facilities are a bit limited, but they are decent. And the food quality in the mess is acceptable, so no major issues there.

Admission: Journey to CEG was organized despite a lengthy TNEA counselling cycle. The Anna University portal was clear, document verification was efficient, and staff assisted well with provisional allotment. Orientation marked a good start.
Academic: Our teachers here are really good at what they do. Almost 90% of them have PhD degrees, which is quite impressive. They are all very friendly and have a lot of experience too. The mentors at our college are also super supportive and you can find them available all the time if you need help. Coming to exams, they are not too easy and not too difficult, so students generally pass quite easily without much stress.
Placement: From what I know, almost 90% of the students here get placed. Lots of big companies like Amazon, Cipla, TCS, Infosys, Siemens, Vodafone, Wipro, and Flipkart come for hiring. The average salary package is around 7 LPA, and someone even got a really good one, like 36 LPA, which is the highest.
Campus: What I like most about Anna University is its infrastructure. It's really good, and the whole university is managed very well for us students. We have advanced labs, and the library is huge with more than 1 lakh books and journals. Plus, the entire campus has Wi-Fi. Even the hostel facilities are great; they keep them clean and well-managed. For food, the mess is nice because it offers separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, which is a big plus for veg students.

Admission: Completion of the admission journey at CEG felt well-managed. From TNEA counselling to final registration, every step was clearly communicated and efficiently handled.
Academic: The course curriculum here is pretty well-designed, and it gives us good practical knowledge. The teaching style is also effective, which is nice. Now about the faculty, it's kind of a mix. Some teachers are really very good; they motivate us a lot and help us learn new stuff. But some others are not so good, they just keep criticizing and can make you feel down. So, overall, the faculty members are average. One thing I like is that all exams are always held on time.
Placement: In our course, the average salary package is 5 LPA. Our university provides good placement opportunities, but students need to score above 7 SGPA in all their semesters to grab these. Top companies like Bajaj Electricals, Syska, and HP visit our campus for hiring. They usually select students based on how well they do in interviews.
Campus: The overall vibe at our college is just great. All the people here are super helpful. We have many types of clubs, like dance, music, and drama ones, and you can join any of them. The college infrastructure is really good, with every facility you might need available. There's a big library always full of books. Our hostel facilities are also nice, and the food served in the mess is quite tasty. You'll also find a canteen and grocery stores right on campus.

Admission: Confirmation of admission at CEG came without confusion. Provisional and final allotment details arrived on time, document verification was organised, and fee payment was straightforward.
Academic: Our teachers are very helpful, even though the faculty-student ratio is like 20 students for every teacher. The Data Science faculty members are especially good here. They always take extra classes for those who have questions and help clear all their doubts. We have three exam sessions in each semester, and the difficulty level is pretty moderate. Almost 80% of students pass these exams easily.
Placement: Placements here are really strong. Students can start applying for campus jobs once they are in their 6th semester. More than 400 companies visit our college for hiring every year. Many students get placed in big, good companies with nice salary packages. The highest package someone got was 56 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Actually, over 90% of students get placed every year, and some even choose to start their own businesses.
Campus: What I like about our college is how well-equipped the classrooms are, with good facilities and all the needed technology. The library is also really good, full of many books and journals that are easy to get. Plus, on campus, there are always lots of sports and extracurricular activities for students.

Admission: Induction at CEG began on a smooth note. From TNEA application to final document verification, instructions stayed clear, counselling communication was timely, and registration felt well-organised.
Academic: This course runs for one year, and its curriculum is very good and relevant for us. Our teachers are really good at explaining things, making sure we get all the subject knowledge properly. We have two semester exams during this time, and I must say, getting good marks and clearing them can be very difficult.
Placement: Placements are really good in our college. To get into campus placements, students need to score at least an 8 CGPA. Lots of companies visit for internships too. The salary packages are usually between 4 LPA and 8 LPA. This is because our college has partnerships with many tech companies.
Campus: What I like most about our college is definitely the facilities. They really put good quality stuff into everything, from the infrastructure to the materials they use. We have everything we need, like proper classrooms, well-equipped labs, comfy benches, a big library, enough fans for hot days, clean bathrooms, and lots of computers. And not just that, the college canteen is also a highlight. Their food is super tasty and always kept clean.

Admission: Acceptance into CEG through TNEA was straightforward. Online choice filling and seat allotment were clear, document verification went smoothly, and staff support made registration stress-free.
Academic: What I've seen is that our teachers are really qualified, like they know a lot, but sometimes they find it hard to explain things properly. The course itself is slowly getting updated, which helps us to be more ready for the industry. We also have to do internships and summer projects, which is good for getting job ready. Our semester exams are usually about how you can use what you learned, not just mugging up. To pass, you need to get 45% in total, but only if you pass your internal assessments too.
Placement: Our college has pretty good placements, with around 70% of students getting placed. Many also go for higher studies after graduation. The salary packages here are quite decent; the lowest package is 3 Lacs, and the highest recently touched 21 Lacs. Imagine, one student even got placed at Apple, that was huge! Most of the time, students get jobs as Software Developers. Big companies like Fidelity, Visa, and Citi Bank come to our campus often to hire. Also, many students get recruited all at once, especially towards the end of the placement time.
Campus: Our department has good working labs and classrooms. There's a common library for all students, even those who live outside the main campus area. Inside the department, you can't use mobile data, but they give us Wi-Fi that we can register for our laptops. The food in the international hostel is not very good and it's quite repetitive. However, housekeeping services are very prompt. The medical center closes at 5 PM, so for any emergency after that, we have to visit the Malar hospital nearby. On the brighter side, the sports culture here is really strong.

Academic: What I really like about our college is how practical and interesting the course curriculum is. The teachers here are super good, and their teaching style is also very nice. They make sure to arrange doubt clearing classes regularly for us. Plus, you can always ask the teachers for help anytime, they are always supportive. The exams are not tough at all, which is a relief.
Placement: Placements here are pretty good for our course. Last year, around 70 percent of students got placed. We have top companies like Havells, Bajaj, and Cisco coming for recruitment. Many other multinational companies also hire from our course, and the average salary package is 5 LPA. Plus, students can get internships after they finish their sixth semester.
Campus: Anna University campus has all the facilities we need. The park, auditoriums, and play grounds are kept really well. Our libraries are fully stocked with books. Even the hostel rooms are furnished and have all the necessary facilities. I personally feel the food is good and yummy too. Overall, campus life here is quite enjoyable.

Admission: Entry into CEG felt comfortable and clear. The TNEA counselling process was systematic, document verification at the university was quick, and registration support cleared all doubts. Orientation helped in understanding the joining process better.
Academic: The curriculum for our course is quite good, it gives us proper industrial knowledge. Our teachers are very experienced and qualified. They all have PhDs in their subjects, so they really know their stuff. But let me tell you, semester exams are not easy at all. You need to study a lot if you want to score well. And the examination department here is super strict.
Placement: The placement experience here was awesome. Our college's placements department is super helpful, they give full support to all students. Many big companies come to our college and offer good salary packages. I myself got selected for a 6 LPA package after my interview.
Campus: Our college has really good infrastructure that's always well-maintained. All our labs are fully equipped with everything we need, and the libraries are packed with books. You'll also find great sports facilities right on campus. Plus, medical help is available 24/7, which is a big relief. And the mess food is decent and quite affordable too.

Admission: Selection into CEG followed a clear path. The TNEA counselling timeline was adhered to, document verification was quick, and staff guided registration smoothly, resulting in a positive experience.
Academic: From my experience, the teachers here are really good. Most of them have high degrees like Masters or Ph.D. from really good colleges, some even from outside India. So, I have no complaints about how they teach us. The course syllabus is also very helpful and fits what the industry needs today. However, the exams are super tough to clear, and only about 50 percent of students usually pass them.
Placement: Anna University has a really good placement program. Lots of companies from different areas come here to hire students. We saw big names like Apian and Microsoft among them. The highest salary package someone got was 33 Lakhs, which is great, while the lowest was 3 Lakhs, and the average package is usually around 6 Lakhs. One thing though, it feels like internship opportunities are getting fewer these days.
Campus: Anna Wi-Fi is available for all students at our college. The speed is quite good, enough for all academic stuff. On campus, there's a really big library which is useful. Also, a health centre is there for everyone like students and faculty members.
