Admission: The teachers here are mostly helpful and know their stuff, but there are a few who aren't great. Our computer teacher isn't the best - she just makes us memorize everything. The course we're studying is super important because IoT is gonna be huge soon. The semester exams are pretty easy, not too hard. You just need to get 40% to pass.

Placement: I'm in a new course at this college. The branch just started 2 years ago, so no students have been placed yet. But in 2 years, they'll start doing placements. Right now, they haven't picked the top companies for this course, but for CSE core, Google is a big one.

Campus: The library here is awesome, the biggest in Bangalore. It's huge with 5 floors and even has a digital section. But man, the hostel fees are crazy high. There are 2 hostels here - one for Indian students and one for NRIs. The NRI hostel costs Rs. 2,15,000 a year, while the Indian one is Rs. 1,80,000. Honestly, the hostels aren't great. The food is terrible, especially in the NRI hostel - bugs in the mess, not cool. I'd say avoid the NRI hostel for sure. And forget about playing games in the hostels, not allowed.

Admission: The staff here is pretty cool and friendly, but they can be a bit strict about academics. The lab supervisor is super nice though. The coursework can get a bit overwhelming, but we can handle it. Exams are taken seriously, and you gotta show up to class or you won't be allowed to take them.

Placement: In our class, we have 68 students with 17 girls and the rest boys. The average package is about 5 LPA. Companies like Capgemini and Mercedes come for placements. Most students go for a master's degree after graduation, so only a few of us look for jobs right away.

Campus: The college has great infrastructure. The labs are well-equipped, and the classrooms are big with smart boards. The canteen has delicious food, especially the yummy dosa. We have sports and events every semester. The mess also serves good food.

Admission: The teachers I had in my first year were really good. They explained things well and used the board to teach. Each teacher knows a lot about their subject. The teaching here is better than in other similar colleges. Exams are not too hard, just okay. If you study a few days before, you can easily get full marks in the final exams. The questions are pretty simple and not tricky at all.

Placement: DSCE has awesome placement opportunities compared to other colleges. In CS and Electronics, the top salary is around 11 LPA, while for other branches, it's 5 LPA. In 2024, almost all students got placed, around 97.8%. We also have cool internship options. The college has a special team to help us with placements and internships in different companies. Love it here!

Campus: The campus at DSCE is awesome! The buildings in each department are nice, and there's even a park. It's a big campus, about 29 acres, and it's really green. Each department has all the stuff they need. They've got everything for us to do our work. There are two kinds of hostels for guys and one for girls. The guys' hostel is clean and cool. The NRI hostel costs Rs 2,20,000 and the Indian hostel is Rs 1,80,000.

Admission: The syllabus can be a bit dull, but once you understand it, it gets pretty cool and interesting. We cover subjects like Java, Python, C++, and C, along with DAA and DBMS. Exams happen every month, including internals and end-of-semester exams, which can be tiring and not very exciting.

Placement: Our college in Bangalore is top-notch. There are 70 students in my class. The average salary is 8 LPA. Big companies like Microsoft, Accenture, IBM, and Infosys come for placements. They offer roles like web developer and data scientist.

Campus: The classrooms are big and comfy, with cool labs that have AC and good computers. The college looks nice with lots of greenery. The food in the mess is tasty, and the canteens are clean. I like it here because everything is chill and the facilities are great.

Admission: Some teachers are cool, some not so much. They all know their stuff, but to get help, you gotta build a good relationship with them. The teachers are qualified, but some can be a bit biased. The course curriculum is right on point, especially with the coding platform training. We have 3 internal exams before the end-of-semester tests. Not sure about the pass rate, but the teachers recommend aiming for a CGPA of 7.5 or higher. And hey, the paper grading is more chill compared to other colleges under VTU.

Placement: I'm in a computer science and design course. Our department is new, started 4 years ago. This year, around 20 students already got jobs with good pay. I don't know much about internships yet, but the placements look promising.

Campus: Each department has its own space in different buildings. In my department, we've got 4 labs and 1 classroom. There's a big library that everyone uses, and it's in its own building. I live off-campus, but I've eaten at their mess hall. The food is good, but they serve the same meals each week. The cafeteria is expensive, but the food truck is clean and safe.

Admission: The teachers here are super smart, some even have Ph.Ds. But sometimes they talk in Kannada, which can be tough for non-Kannada students. We have 3 internals and 1 final exam every semester. You just need 40% to pass.

Placement: I'm studying CSE and there's a lot of demand for CSE grads. The pay is good too, with an average of around 10 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, and IBM come for placements. Last year, the highest package was about 51 LPA. Bangalore being a tech hub, there are plenty of internship opportunities too.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is really nice with lots of new and renovated buildings. Every classroom has a projector for learning. The library has all the latest books. The hostel is decent but expensive. The food in the mess is just okay. The college has a huge sports ground with tennis and basketball courts too.

Admission: Exams come around every two weeks at this college. They can be anything from internals to open book exams, quizzes, or lab practicals. We don't get much time to study because the syllabus finishes just before the exams. They don't give us any study leave either, so we have to depend on self-study. The class notes don't really help with exam prep.

Placement: I'm in my first year now. I learned from seniors that if you put in the effort, study on your own, and learn new things during the 4 years here, you'll have good opportunities with top companies.

Campus: The college buildings are nice, but the hostel fees are too expensive. The hostels aren't very cozy or private for the price we pay. The rules in the hostel are quite strict. Some students in the hostel think the food is just okay, nothing special.

Admission: The teachers are pretty strict here. They call the shots, so we gotta keep up. Some are cool, they know their stuff, but not everything, especially in labs. The course content makes sense. The exams mostly reflect what the teachers teach. Sometimes it's tough, but usually it's manageable. The pass rate is around 70% in the worst scenarios.

Placement: The job placements for Electrical and Electronics Engineering students aren't too good. Most students end up in IT jobs because not many core companies visit our college. About 120 students graduate, but only around 10 land core company jobs. The highest salary offered is 19 LPA.

Campus: The labs have really old stuff, and some don't even work right. The computers are outdated too. Plus, some classrooms don't have good air circulation. There are fans, but they don't do much. The hostel costs a lot, so lots of people choose to stay in PGs instead. The food in the hostel is okay.

Admission: In our department, we've got around 30 faculty members. They're all really cool and know their stuff. A bunch of them are professors or associate professors. Each year has eight semesters, with 3 tests inside and 1 big test at the end of each semester.

Placement: The job opportunities at our college are pretty good. The highest salary offered is 7 LPA, while the lowest is 2.5 LPA. On average, students get around 3-4 LPA. About 30% of students here find placements. Our college also encourages internships, which is cool.

Campus: The college campus is nice and clean with lots of greenery. Each department has its own Wi-Fi, and there are separate labs for different courses. Plus, we've got sports and a canteen, which are pretty cool.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really know their stuff. They're always there to help out whenever you need it. But I gotta be real, this course doesn't fully prep you for the industry. You gotta bring your own knowledge and experience to the table. If you start studying a few weeks ahead of time, the semester exams are totally doable.

Placement: Finding a job after college is tough here. Not many seniors have jobs yet. Competition is high. There are jobs out there, but not many students have the skills needed. Some struggle to find work. The highest salary is around 6-7 lakhs, while the lowest is 3 lakhs. Big companies like Texas Instruments, J.P. Morgan, and Intel hire from here. Unfortunately, there aren't many internships available. Most students end up as electrical engineers or software developers.

Campus: The college has great facilities like big buildings, modern libraries, and high-tech classrooms. But the hostels are kinda small and the food there isn't that great or clean. The canteen could improve by offering a bigger variety of food and having separate sections for veg and non-veg dishes.
