Hostel accommodation is managed centrally by the University of Jammu, with three boys’ hostels and two girls’ hostels on campus, but hostel seats are reserved exclusively for regular (non-distance) students. Distance learners are not eligible for hostel allotment. The hostels themselves provide modern amenities—such as recreational spaces, inverters for power supply, hygienic mess, and secure entry—for regular students only.
