Admission: Initially, my experience at IIIT Naya Raipur was much smoother than expected. The online registration portal worked well, campus document verification was quick, and the staff patiently answered questions during counselling. Updates about the merit list and orientation were shared clearly and on time.
Academic: Our teachers here are super professional and really good. They update the college syllabus every year, so we only get to study relevant and useful subjects. About the semester exams, they are pretty easy if you study properly. Even if you only study for a week before exams, low scorers can easily get good grades or at least pass marks. Getting an A+ is tough, but it's definitely possible if you work hard.
Placement: From what I've seen, many people didn't get placed this year because it's a recession, and the college hasn't officially announced anything about it. American Express is the top company that recruits here. When it comes to internships, it's quite personal, and I can't share exact details since the college hasn't released any official information. Mostly, the top role for my course is software development.
Campus: Our college has a really good infrastructure for the fees we pay. We get good Wi-Fi facilities, labs are well-equipped, and the library is also quite nice. Talking about food, the mess and canteen serve good quality meals. But one thing is that the mess food might be a bit different for South Indian students since the dishes are very varied, though the quality is still good overall. A small drawback is that the dispensary isn't open 24/7.

Admission: Registration at IIIT Naya Raipur went smoothly. The portal was easy to use, counselling schedules were communicated clearly, document verification was hassle-free, and staff assistance made onboarding comfortable.
Academic: The course curriculum here is actually quite good because it doesn't make us study extra subjects like chemistry or physics, which other colleges might have. Our teachers are super knowledgeable and also good at teaching. Just make sure you pay attention during lectures because the exams can be hard if you don't, as most questions are directly from what's taught in class.
Placement: Placements in our college are excellent, like 100% students get placed. The highest salary package went up to 72 LPA, and the lowest was 7 LPA. Many big companies come here, like Amazon, American Express, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Carl Zeiss, PharmEasy, and BigBasket. They mainly offer roles for SDE and analyst positions.
Campus: The food at our college is much better than what you find in other places. We have proper labs for every subject, like AIML, networking, and even VLSI labs. Our classrooms are also quite good, they all have AC units and smart projectors. And if there is any emergency, the college has its own dispensary ready.

Admission: Admission to IIIT Naya Raipur followed a clear structure. Online registration and document verification were organised, staff clarified doubts during counselling, and the orientation program helped understand what to expect next.
Academic: Our college faculty members are really helpful and they know a lot of stuff. The curriculum we follow is quite useful for both higher studies and getting jobs after college. Every semester, we have to do a regular project and also a special course project. Plus, our college arranges an academic event each year to get us ready for how things work in the industry. Also, the entrepreneur cell at our institute holds many events related to startups and business.
Placement: When it comes to jobs, our institute is really good. We actually have a 100% placement record, which is awesome. The average salary package for students here is around 7-8 LPA. One of our super senior batches even got a very high package of 43 LPA. A lot of students get picked by big companies like Amazon, Infosys, Goldman Sachs, and Flipkart. Many students also get internships and pre-placement offers, or PPOs, even in companies from other countries. Plus, a good number of our students clear the GATE exam every year too.
Campus: From my experience, the college facilities are pretty good. We get 24/7 internet in our hostel, which is a big plus. All the important places like classrooms, labs, and the library are air-conditioned, so it's nice. When it comes to food, the mess is a bit hit or miss; I'd rate it a 3 because it's sometimes tasty and sometimes not good at all. But don't worry, the canteen food is always yummy and affordable. For sports, there's a lot to do on campus with a football ground, cricket ground, basketball court, and volleyball court. We also have an auditorium. In the hostel itself, there's a badminton court and a common room for table tennis. Every year, we celebrate a sports fest called Aarambh.

Admission: Selection into IIIT Naya Raipur was followed by a well-managed process. The gap between merit list declaration and registration was manageable, email communication was prompt, and document submission went without issues.
Academic: Our college has a super advanced course curriculum, which is great. Right from the first year, students get to code and make really useful things. The whole course is focused on projects, not just boring theory like other places. And the teachers here are amazing; all of them have PhDs from IITs, and some even did post-doctorate. You can tell they are really dedicated to what they teach. But they don't spoon-feed you, so you have to put in effort and work hard. If you do that, you can ask them questions and learn a lot from their experience.
Placement: Talking about placements, they are really good at our college. Last year, almost 100% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 50 LPA, which is amazing! On average, students got around 18 LPA, and the median package was 14 LPA. Many big companies like Deloitte, Microsoft, American Express, and Pharmeasy came to recruit students for our course. Plus, a lot of students also landed research internships at top places like NUS Singapore, Cornell University, and other major institutes in Singapore and USA.
Campus: Our college has really good facilities. Classrooms are well-lit, have Wi-Fi, and are air-conditioned for comfort. We have very modern labs for subjects like data science, AI, IoT, VLSI, 3D lab, computer networking, and big data. Our institute also has a 5G testbed, which is pretty advanced. The library is air-conditioned too and uses an RFID system to issue books. For staying, there are four hostels in total, two for boys and two for girls. Hostel rooms are quite spacious, and all the hostel buildings have the latest infrastructure. For sports, we have a football ground, a cricket ground, and a basketball ground. There's also an amphitheater and a big auditorium that can fit 1000 students.

Admission: The admission process here felt organised from start to end. Provisional admission steps were clear, verification staff answered questions patiently, deadlines were communicated properly, and stress was minimal.
Academic: Curriculum here is quite advanced, which is a big plus. We don't have to waste time on subjects like chemistry or engineering drawing again, unlike some IIT or NIT students. Instead, we jump right into core subjects and maths from the very beginning. All our teachers are really smart, having PhDs from IITs, and some even did post-doc. This shows how much they are into their subjects. They won't just give you answers though; you have to put in some effort and ask questions to get the most out of their experience. Plus, there are always projects and research papers to submit, which keeps things interesting and makes you think.
Placement: Talking about placements, almost all students from our college got placed last year. The highest salary was 43 LPA, which came from Microsoft R&D, and the lowest was 6.5 LPA from Capgemini. Our average salary package was 10.5 LPA. Many top companies like Deloitte, Microsoft, Adobe, American Express, Carl Zeiss, Ericsson, Utopia Global, Capgemini, and Amazon recruited from our course. Students also did internships at places such as Nvidia (in Santa Clara, with a massive stipend of 90 LPA), Amazon, Microsoft (some even got PPO offers), NASDAQ, and Amex. Some students even got research internships at NUS Singapore, IIT Bombay, University of Malaya, University of Nottingham, University of Aberdeen, and IIM Lucknow. A lot of students also went for higher studies, like one student went to Cornell University, and two students got direct PhDs at the University of South Carolina. Some even got into IIMs for MBA. The main roles students got were business analysts and data scientists.

Plus, our institute even has a 5G testbed. The library is air-conditioned too, and our library card has RFID. There's also a digital library where we can find journals from IEEE and more. For staying, we have four hostels, with three for boys and one for girls. Besides this, there are staff residences, a big auditorium, an amphitheater, a shopping complex, a canteen, and even a salon. You can play outdoor sports like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, and badminton. There's also a sports complex with an indoor basketball court, and a swimming pool is going to be made soon. In the hostel common room, you'll find a carrom board, TT table, and a TV. We have both an indoor and an open-air gym. A doctor is available from 10 am to 1 pm, and a staff nurse is always there 24x7. If there's an emergency, an ambulance is ready. Hostel rooms are spacious; for the first two years, it's twin-sharing, and each student gets a bed, study table, and cupboard. From the third year onwards, you get single rooms which have a balcony. The washrooms are common but they are cleaned twice every day.

Admission: Getting admitted to IIIT Naya Raipur was easier than expected. Counselling was managed well, seat allocation was clear, verification and fee steps were explained properly, and registration finished smoothly along with orientation.
Academic: The course curriculum here is really good, it helps students a lot to do well in their jobs. About the faculty, they are well qualified and know a lot. But many students feel they are very strict and go too fast with lessons. Because of this, the teaching quality isn't really the best sometimes.
Placement: In our college, the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence course just started in 2019. Because of this, there are no placements yet for this specific program. Still, big companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Springer, and LinkedIn are expected to be the top recruiting companies for our course.
Campus: From my experience, the campus Wi-Fi is super strong and works great. We have lots of separate labs for each department too. Hostel rooms here are really good, and medical facilities are quite good. The library is also well-stocked with over 7,000 books, more than 20 magazines, and around 10 newspapers available. But talking about food, the mess quality is just average. Also, since our campus is small, the sports facilities arent that good.

Admission: Securing admission at IIIT Naya Raipur felt straightforward. The application and counselling rounds were easy to follow, campus verification was handled neatly, and registration went smoothly. Orientation provided a helpful overview, leaving a positive impression.
Academic: The best thing about our college is definitely the curriculum, I think it's the best part here. I feel like our college is much better than other colleges because of this. We actually start learning our main core subjects right from the first semester itself. Our teachers are pretty good and they help us clear the exams. But if you really want to learn something properly, you have to put in effort and study on your own too.
Placement: Lots of big companies like Amex, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and Microsoft come to our college for recruitment. We are proud that we always hit 100% placements each year, which really boosts confidence for new students. Most of the companies are service-based and hire many students, though some product-based companies also come. Our college is also a good option if you want to pursue higher studies.
Campus: Living here is actually quite good overall. The classrooms are really nice, all of them have AC which is great. And about the hostels, they are decent, honestly much better than proper government college hostels. That's because we pay for our accommodation, so we get big rooms and even LAN connection in every room. The food is okay too, haha.

Admission: The overall admission process at IIIT Naya Raipur felt well managed. From online application to final verification, communication was clear, staff were supportive, and joining happened without any major issues.
Academic: Here, the teachers are really good. When we had online classes, the marking was quite student-friendly. They always did continuous evaluation, which included quizzes, assignments, and even course projects. Our college uses this fractal academic system where most courses are for 2 or 3 credits. You must do four minor projects, but you can do an internship instead of one major project.
Placement: Our college's placements have really gone up, even with the pandemic going on. The average salary package hit 12.67 LPA, and for the top 50% students, it was even higher at 17.36 LPA. Someone even got a super good offer of 57 Lakhs for a software developer role. Plus, many students found jobs in Data Science too, which is great.
Campus: Hostel life is fine here. They have LAN connection in the rooms, which is handy. Though, WiFi is not there in hostels right now, it's available in all academic blocks and other common spots. Our college library is pretty good; it has a lot of books and if something is not there, you can recommend it and they will try to get it. For sports, things need to get better, but a new sports complex is on the way so that sounds promising.

Admission: Throughout the admission journey at IIIT Naya Raipur, the process felt streamlined. The application and counselling steps were clearly explained, verification took a little time but staff remained helpful, and orientation sessions gave a good overview.
Academic: Student life at our college is pretty hectic, even though you get to learn a lot. That's because our curriculum is very advanced and updated for what IT companies want nowadays. Our teachers are well qualified, but they are not very student-friendly. They are super strict with their study plans, finish the syllabus quickly, and also give many quizzes. So, your whole day pretty much goes into attending lectures and doing all the assignments and projects.
Placement: From my experience, the placements at our college are pretty solid. Every year, the highest and average salary packages just keep getting better. The best thing is, if you apply for campus placements, you pretty much always get picked up by a company. For the 2021-2022 sessions, the average package was 16 LPA, and the highest was a whopping 57 LPA. Especially in computer science, the average package went above 18 LPA. We see big names coming for recruitment like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Amazon, American Express, TCS, Capgemini, Nykaa, and a lot more.
Campus: When it comes to our college, the hostel facilities are really good. They give us four meals every day, and honestly, the food quality and quantity are much better than many other colleges and PGs nearby. Our college's infrastructure is also pretty good, even if it's not fully finished yet. We have really good and updated labs for all the branches. Plus, we've got an amphitheatre, a big football ground, and a park already. Each hostel also has 2 or 3 badminton courts, which is cool. More stuff like an open yoga area, a cricket ground, a swimming pool, and a sports complex are still being built.

Admission: Applying to IIIT Naya Raipur felt transparent. There were no confusing steps, seat allocation details were precise, the online fee payment worked fine, and orientation helped settle in quickly.
Academic: Our teachers are really great here. They come from big, famous universities around the world and know so much about their subjects. Also, the college syllabus is very modern. We learn core subjects from the first day itself, not like other colleges like NITs or IITs where you study Physics, Chemistry, Math in the first year. There are many projects and assignments given, which keep you busy but also teach you to be on time and disciplined.
Placement: Talking about placements and internships, our institute is really excellent. The placements here are seriously good, almost phenomenal. All students from the first batch, 100% of them, got placed. The highest salary someone got was 28.3 Lacs, and the average package was 8.2 Lacs. Big companies like Carl Zeiss India, Deloitte, Ericsson, and Utopia Global come here to hire students. Also, lots of students get summer internships at places like IIM Lucknow, NUS Singapore, IIT Bombay, or University of Malaya. So yeah, for getting a job or an internship, this place is really great.
Campus: Our college campus at IIIT Naya Raipur is really nice, very clean, and super green. We have all the important stuff, like four hostels three for boys and one for girls. There's also a place for staff to stay, a big auditorium, an amphitheatre, a library, a shopping complex, and a canteen. Our labs are quite modern and well-equipped. For sports lovers, we have good facilities for cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and table tennis. Plus, there's an indoor gym and an open-air gym too. If you ever feel unwell, there's a doctor's facility with a dispensary and a 24x7 ambulance service ready. Honestly, the hostels and the mess food here are much better than in other IIITs or NITs. And the best part everyone loves is the free Wi-Fi, which is super fast at 120mbps all the time.
