Admission: Getting selected at ESI-PGIMSR felt rewarding because the admission steps were well laid out. Document submission guidelines were clear, and pre-orientation updates helped us prepare in advance. Everything felt organised.

Academic: The professors here are super helpful, especially with research and any other study problems we face. And the teachers are good overall.

Placement: This is a government college, so you can easily get a job at the district hospital right after you finish your internship.

Campus: In my experience, the hostels here are good, but the food in the mess is just average. We don't get Wi-Fi in the hostel, but the hospital has high-speed internet available. The hospital infrastructure itself is also very good.

Placement: It's a big thing now, our college wants us to do masters after finishing bachelors. So, because of this, only 50-60% of students actually get jobs in good hospitals through college recommendations. The other students mostly plan to do their master's degree, and a few are trying to find jobs on their own.

Campus: The college has brought in many relaxing activities, since our syllabus is big and students often don't have much time for sports. About the food, it's not very attractive or tasty, but it is healthy. Sadly, we have zero opportunities for cultural events here.

Academic: The teachers are quite knowledgeable and good at teaching here. All of them are at least MBBS qualified, and many are super specialists too, having a lot of info about their specific fields. About exams, we have them yearly, not semester-wise. There's a big final exam at the end of the year, and we usually have around 4 exams like that throughout the whole year.

Placement: At our college, you can study subjects like Medicine, Surgery, and even Obstetrics and Gynecology. It's good because after you finish, all students can easily get into any hospital. They can earn more than 50 thousand rupees every month. Just remember, there is no direct job package with this course. You have to do a postgraduate degree and specialize first, then you can start working in your particular department.

Campus: Our college has a good medical hospital right there, which is a big tertiary level institute. The infrastructure here is pretty decent, and because of the good patient load in the hospital, we get to learn a lot in each department. Plus, there's a big, spacious library in the college with tons of books for us to study.

Academic: My professors are very good and quite experienced. Many of them even finished their studies at big places like BMC, MMC, and JIPMER. Because of this, the education quality in our college is good. It is easy for students to pass their university exams here, and almost 90% of students clear their final exams. Also, around 60% of students managed to pass their PG exams on the first try, though they did take some extra coaching from outside for it.

Placement: Our college offers a stipend of around 25,000 rupees every month. For jobs after college, the salary package is usually between 90,000 and 1,00,000 rupees per month.

Campus: From the outside, our college infrastructure is pretty good. We have all the necessary departments, labs, and enough classrooms, just as NMC requires. The hostel rooms, mostly for 2 or 3 students, are quite decent. However, the mess food is just average. One thing that is not there is a playground within the college campus.

Others decide to take various exams and get settled in their lives. And then there are some who start their own work, like in clinics or hospitals.

Campus: The hostel is nice and well-kept. It's right in the city and has everything we need. Our classrooms and labs are also top-notch, with all the latest equipment. And I heard the labs get good money from the central government. Overall, they do a great job taking care of the students.

You can earn around Rs. 80,000 to 1 lac per month, but the exact amount depends on which city you pick to work in. The best part is we can choose to work anywhere across India.

Campus: The hostels here are pretty new, and compared to other government medical colleges, our rooms and other facilities are way better. But yeah, one big problem is sometimes the water supply is not good. They do arrange sports and cultural activities, which is fun. However, the college doesn't actually sponsor these events, even after taking fees for them.

In our course, we get to learn all about the human body, how it works, and also about different medicines and all that.

Campus: In our college, the infrastructure and facilities are top-notch. You'll find Wi-Fi available on every floor, and classrooms are also located on each level. All departments have every kind of lab needed. The hostel rooms are quite good and well-maintained, but one thing is that you don't get a single room for your whole course duration. We don't have a mess here, but it's not an issue because the college is right in the middle of Bangalore, so there are many tiffin services and restaurants nearby. Also, students get all medical facilities free, and we definitely have good sports and games.

Academic: I feel so lucky to have such good teachers here. They are honestly some of the best, just like you'd find in top colleges, with so much experience and knowledge. Some are even MD gold medalists! If you listen to their suggestions, trust me, you will never regret it.

Placement: About job chances, for MBBS, there arent any placements directly given by the college. It's more about going for post-graduation studies after you finish MBBS. But, the opportunities available in ESIC are very good. They have a 50% state and All India Quota, and you can expect a salary of over 75,000 rupees a month there. The fees for the year are 2.6 lakh rupees. Plus, scholarships are also available if you fit the requirements.

Campus: My college's infrastructure is quite good, I would say it's on par with some private colleges. We have all the needed facilities, but it's a bit sad that there are no proper playing facilities. We have a huge 10-story hostel building and a 6-story academic block too. The hospital attached to ESI is a good thing because patients who have a card get free treatment there.

Placement: My college helped us get many job chances in healthcare and hospitals. We saw big recruiters like Meditrina Hospital and CARE Hospital coming for placements. For specific roles like obstetricians and gynecologists, the average salary package offered was usually between 4.5 to 6.77 LPA.

Campus: In my college, PG students didn't face many restrictions in the hostel, not like UG students. We only had a small list of rules to follow for hostel accommodation. Plus, college representatives were chosen just once a year, and there was campaigning done for it.
