Farook Institute of Management Studies was established in 2006 and is a private educational institution. FIMS is affiliated with the University of Calicut and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The parent institution, Farook College, is accredited by NAAC with Grade 'A++' in the 4th cycle of NAAC accreditation.
The college offers MBA and other executive programs in management fields. The campus is spread over 70 acres and has facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, a state-of-the-art business library, modern computer labs, fully furnished, separate hostels, hygienic canteen, prayer rooms, sports facilities, on-campus health centre / first-aid, parking facilities, auditorium, management consultancy centre, campus-wide Wi‑Fi connectivity, digital and e‑library subscriptions, clubs and forums.

CAT 2025 registration started on 1 August, 2025, (10:00 AM), and the window will remain open until 13 September, 2025, (till 5:00 PM). Candidates will be able to download their admit cards between 5 November and 30 November, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 30 November 2025. The results are expected to be declared in the first week of January 2026. The CAT registration fee has been increased to INR 2,600 for General category candidates and INR 1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
XAT 2026 application form was released on 10 July, 2025. XAT 2026 exam is scheduled on 4 January 2026. Eligible candidates can register themselves via online mode, as there is no offline method provided. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur at the University Level. XLRI Jamshedpur organises XAT exam once in every year via online (CBT) mode.

- Candidates must upload correct documents, including a recent photograph and signature, to avoid form rejection.
- In case of errors, a correction window will be provided for making necessary changes.
