Admission: Future Institute of Engineering and Management College is part of MAKAUT University, so the exams are pretty challenging. The external exam invigilators can be strict, but the internal exams are more relaxed. It helps us get ready for the industry. The teaching here is really good too.
Placement: Future Institute of Engineering and Management is a great college in Kolkata for placements and internships. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, and TCS come for recruitment. Around 40% of students secure internships using their own skills.
Campus: The classrooms and labs are decent, but the Wi-Fi is super slow. Overall, the college facilities are good for studying. The food at the campus canteen isn't great though. They have lots of sports activities and even indoor games and tournaments on campus.

Admission: The teachers here are super nice and always ready to help. They're really good at what they do. The semester exams can be challenging because of the university standards, but most students pass with around 80-90%. And during exams, the teachers and invigilators are fair and understanding.
Placement: The college has a good number of students. The highest salary package here is around 20 LPA. Wipro always comes to hire students, and Ardent Training offers internships every year. They give roles based on what we're good at.
Campus: The classrooms, lab, and other stuff at our college are top-notch and well-kept. But they could work on upgrading the canteen food and sprucing up the main entrance. Just a heads up, there's no hostel on campus.

Admission: The professors at this college really know their stuff when it comes to artificial intelligence, software development, and cloud computing. They're super friendly and always there to help out with study materials. We have 2 semesters every year, and the course lasts 4 years with regular assessments.
Placement: The job placements here aren't great. Only about 30% of students actually land a job. The pay is around 3.2 LPA on average. Big companies like TCS and Infosys come here to hire students. But they don't offer any free internships.
Campus: The classrooms in our college are big and well-ventilated, with projectors and some even have smart boards. However, in a few classrooms, the projectors don't work. We also have a networking lab and a cloud computing lab, but they could use some upgrades. There are separate hostels for guys and girls with different room sharing options like single, double, and triple. The mess serves food, but it's not that tasty.

Admission: The teachers were pretty helpful, though not all of them were equally good. The course syllabus was okay, but there wasn't a lot of modern technology stuff covered in-depth. The semester exams weren't too hard, but the exam rules were really strict.
Placement: The college has good companies like Accenture and Cognizant coming for placements. The average package is around 4 lakhs per year, with the lowest being 3 lakhs. They mostly offer roles as Software Developers. There were over 50 companies hiring from the campus, and around 70% of students got placed through campus placements.
Campus: The hostel was not available when I was there, not sure if it's there now. The labs and classrooms were just okay, not too fancy. But the library was big and had a nice vibe. They had Wi-Fi in the library which was cool. Overall, the facilities were just average.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really know their stuff. They teach well too. My course has 2 semesters every year, and we have 4 assessments (ca1, ca2, ca3, ca4) before the semester exams. You need at least 40% to pass. The semester exams are tough, and they watch us on CCTV during all the exams.
Placement: I joined this college through a lateral entry in Electrical Engineering. Everyone in my course gets placed, which is awesome. The salary range is usually between 2 to 4 Lacs per year. Some top companies that come for hiring are Dhoot Transmission Pvt. Ltd., Cognizant, and TCS.
Campus: The facilities for my course are great, like labs and libraries. Wi-Fi is available all over campus. My department is in a different building. They don't have dorms, but there's a canteen for food and drinks.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and supportive. They really help us with our studies. The Head of Department is also really nice and supportive. They make sure we finish the syllabus on time. Exams are always on time, and the teachers explain things well. The labs are great too, and everyone in the college is friendly and helpful.
Placement: The college's top salary is about 11 LPA, while the average one is around 4 LPA. Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, and Mindtree visit our campus for placements. However, the job scene has been affected by the recession. Still, it's a decent college overall.
Campus: The college has labs and workshops, which is cool, but there's no hostel on campus. The facilities are pretty good, and they offer course certifications. The head of the department is nice, but there's a bit of drama with some politics going on, so watch out for that. In the end, it's a good place to study and will set you up for success.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and are super helpful. The quality of teaching is top-notch. I picked ECE (Electrical and Communication Engineering) because it sets me up well for job opportunities and improving my skills.
Placement: Lots of students here get jobs after they graduate. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro hire students from here. Some students also do internships in other places. This college is great for finding job opportunities.
Campus: The B.Tech building doesn't have AC, but classrooms are always clean. The college has free WiFi, which is great. I wish there was a hostel on campus, but there isn't one. Overall, the classes are really good and the bathrooms are clean and well-kept.

Admission: Most teachers are helpful, which is great. But some with fancy degrees struggle to teach or connect with students. The non-teaching lady staff in the admin office are the worst. They act super nice during admissions, but once you start, they turn into grumpy people.
Placement: Around 30% of students in our department get good jobs. The pay packages are going down lately. Big companies like TCS and CTS hire students here. The college suggests doing paid internships. Euphoria and Ardient also hire students from our college.
Campus: The school buildings and classrooms look really old. The bathrooms are gross with broken seats. No air conditioning or Wi-Fi in the classrooms. The playground is so small, even smaller than my old school's. They don't have an indoor play area or gym. The food in the canteen is terrible.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. If you're stuck on something, just reach out to them, and they'll definitely assist you. The college organizes a bunch of hackathons and events through the clubs. Exams are held with CCTV cameras, and the guards keep a close eye during exam periods.
Placement: Every year, lots of students get placed in big companies. The highest package is around 12-14 lakhs, the lowest is 3-4 lakhs, and the average is 5-7 lakhs. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Mindtree, and Wipro hire a lot of students from our college. Around 60-70% of students also get internships, which is great for gaining experience.
Campus: The college has separate labs, a great library with internet and e-books, and lots of other facilities. The classrooms are clean and tidy, and the lab rooms have air conditioning. There's a canteen on campus that serves good quality food too.

Admission: The teaching is okay, not amazing but not terrible. The semesters are manageable. I managed to get a good CGPA above 8. Nowadays, you can't rely on the teachers to do everything for you. You have to work hard to get ready for the industry. They will support you, but in the end, it's up to you to succeed.
Placement: Lots of big companies come to our college for placements. You'll see names like Accenture, CTS, Deloitte, and NLA around campus. The highest salary package offered is around 7-6.75 LPA. Most students here do internships with startups. The popular job roles are analyst trainee, Salesforce, SDE, and programme analyst. Tons of opportunities out there!
Campus: The college doesn't have a hostel, so students from outside Kolkata stay in nearby PGs. Free Wi-Fi is only available in the library. There are 4 clubs that throw awesome fests. The canteen is not great in my opinion, though.
