Academic: Our teachers here are mostly very helpful. They guide us well with our studies, curriculum, and even during exams for the university papers. The semester exams are actually designed to be tougher than the final university exams. This helps us get ready and perform super well in the main final exams. It shows too, because the pass percentage in the final exams is good, like 96% to 97%. MBBS is a well-known course everywhere, and it teaches you all the important basics of medicine.

Placement: Around 99% of students who finish their studies here get jobs in the best hospitals across the country. Mostly, after completing MBBS, people get posted as JRs in different departments in these top hospitals. The average salary for this is quite good, usually between Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 7,00,000 per month.

Campus: The hostel facilities here are kind of average. Our hostels are pretty old, actually from 1955, so that's why they are just okay. But the good thing is, renovation work is going on all over campus. So, some hostels are getting much better and actually quite good now. In these renovated hostels, we get nice facilities like clean and spacious rooms, and proper bathrooms. Most of our hostels also have indoor sports options. Plus, the college itself has good sports facilities and a library too.

Admission: Selection process at GSVM Medical College stayed transparent. From merit list release to final admission, each step was guided clearly. Registration went without issues.

Academic: At our college, the teachers are good and qualified. They take daily lectures for every subject. Subjects are split up by year, and teachers are picked based on what topics they are best at, so each teacher is like an expert in their own topic. Plus, we have clinical postings, which is great because students want to get more hands-on clinical knowledge.

Placement: Students here do internships after their final year, which is great. About 80% of students manage to get PG seats, and this comes down to how much they study daily. Our students give enough time to every subject and always follow what the teachers tell them. There are many kinds of PG options available at this college too.

Campus: My college's administration building is good and well made. All the department buildings are also quite solid. Even though the main college buildings are old, they feel very strong. But the hostels are not that great since they are also very old. For water, it's fine in college, but we don't get it 24 hours, which can be a little problem sometimes.

Academic: Our teachers here are super helpful, which is good. Also, in every batch, there are many juniors who try to help you with everything, especially the male juniors because they understand your situation well and guide you. The assistant professors also teach in a very simple way, which makes all your concepts totally clear. This helps a lot when it comes to cracking your professional exams easily.

Placement: In my experience here, our college doesn't provide any placements. To practice, everyone needs to take the NEET PG exam after graduation. There are about 250 students in every single batch. All of us have to pass professional exams every year to move forward, and then, after the course is done, there's the NEET PG exam. After completing four and a half years, students are given an internship where they receive Rs.12,000.

Campus: Our college campus is pretty big, but the cafeteria is quite small. Hostels are available here, and they cost Rs. 1200 for the room and Rs. 2800 for mess food every month. To be honest, the hostels are not that great because they lack cleanliness, proper hygienic drinking water, and the sanitation is poor.

Admission: Process at GSVM Medical College went through MCC counselling. Document verification staff explained requirements clearly, and communication after seat allotment was timely. Final reporting felt organised and less stressful.

Academic: For our course, the doctors themselves are our teachers. They teach us well, always showing us things practically. The National Medical Council sets our course syllabus, and it's actually very good for us students. To pass the semester exams, we need at least 50%, and the difficulty is usually moderate.

Placement: From my experience, the job opportunities after this course are good. Almost every student here gets placed in a company. You can choose between government or private sector jobs. The starting salary is pretty good, like Rs 95,000 per month, and it can go much higher, even lakhs, based on your branch and which company takes you. Plus, after you finish the course, the government gives you a 1.5-year internship with a stipend.

Campus: Our college campus is seriously top-notch. The infrastructure here is excellent, which was a major reason why I decided to join this college. All the buildings, like the departments, labs, and even the hospital connected to us, are very well-made and look good inside. And the hostels are great too, with big rooms. They even have proper grounds for all kinds of sports like badminton, football, cricket, basketball, table tennis, and basically any game you can imagine.

Admission: Entry into GSVM Medical College followed a standard counselling flow. Online registration was simple, and document verification at the college was efficient. Staff answered queries calmly, making the journey smooth from start to end.

Academic: The teachers here are good, honestly the best you can get in any UP government medical college. Since it's a medical college, our curriculum is set by NMC. The exams are conducted by Atal Bihar Medical University and they are pretty standard. For these medical exams, you need 50% marks to pass. The exams are also taken manually, like pen and paper.

Placement: Doing MBBS gives you good job chances. Everyone who finishes this course is guaranteed a good job. You also have to do a 2-year rural bond after graduation, and some people go for a three-year residence program too. Later, you can work as a doctor for the government or even start your own practice.

Campus: The campus here is super big, with lots of green spots and good roads. Our college might be old, so the infrastructure isn't modern, but it has a cool old look and feel. All the main labs are there, and we have a library too. Also, a proper LLR hospital is linked with our college.

Admission: Joining GSVM Medical College felt easy after NEET counselling. Steps like fee payment and form filling moved quickly. Provisional and final admission stages passed without hurdles.

Academic: At GSVM Medical College, we have some of the best teachers you can find in the state, they are good. Our course is well planned by NMC and currently, we follow the CBME system. Most classes happen using PowerPoint slides, though blackboards are also used sometimes. The professional exams happen every year and are usually not too hard, just moderate. You need to pass both theory and practical exams separately. About 50% of students usually pass these exams.

Placement: Once you complete the 4.5 years of MBBS, every student gets to do a one-year internship. After that, the government gives you a 2-year bond. This bond means you will be doing a non-PG paid internship for those two years. A good thing is, you can also prepare for your NEET-PG exam during this bond period.

Campus: Our college building is a bit old but they renovated it well. It has 19 departments, and good air-conditioned labs, plus a lecture theatre and an auditorium. The library is also air-conditioned, which is nice. Besides the main college, there are also many hospital buildings at LLR Hospital. For staying, there are lots of hostels; boys and girls get separate ones, and each batch gets a different hostel. The mess food is just average, not super good, not super bad.

Admission: Path to joining this course felt organised. From seat allotment to final registration, each step followed a clear order. The provisional admission letter came on time, and the medical check up went smoothly.

Academic: From my experience, the teachers for all subjects here are good. They are always supportive and have so much energy. I like how they dont just teach from books but also share tips on handling hostel life and tough situations. Plus, the teaching materials they use are good, you can say their content is totally top-notch.

Placement: Our college, Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Smarak Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya Kanpur, puts on lots of seminars to help students grow in every way. Placements here are quite good and satisfactory. Our teachers also told us that the PG selection rate is very nice.

Campus: What I like most about our college is the infrastructure. It's good. The boys hostel got renovated recently, and they are always doing more work to make things better. The food menu is super nice, and the mess food is also good. Our labs have all the modern equipment, so you can learn a lot if you are interested. We also have a big auditorium where all college events take place.

Academic: Our teachers here are super knowledgeable. They're all very supportive and their teaching style is just amazing. Many of them are quite renowned in their fields, you know. When it comes to exams, they are either clinical-based or they follow the NMC curriculum perfectly.

Placement: Our MBBS program has good placements. From a batch of 250 students, almost 230 get placed, which is great. Being 'placed' in this field means clearing exams like NEET PG or INI CET, or getting a job in a government hospital. A few students even go for USMLE. When it comes to salary, it changes based on your role. Junior residents usually earn around 60 to 70 thousand. Senior residents can get more than 1 Lakh. If you're a government MBBS doctor, you can expect 80 to 90 thousand, and PG doctors can make over 1 Lakh 50 thousand.

Campus: My hostel is currently getting renovated these days. They have also built some new hostels here for students. The mess food is good, much better and cleaner than what you find in other colleges. Also, medical facilities are available, and for girls in the hostel, there are good arrangements for sports and games too.

Admission: Reporting to the college after selection was simple. Instructions for document checks and medical tests were shared clearly. Staff ensured quick completion of formalities.

Academic: From my experience, the teachers here are super helpful and supportive. All our faculty members are actual doctors, so they are qualified and know a lot, which means we get competent teaching. The course curriculum is very relevant, and we learn a whole lot from it. It definitely makes students ready for the industry and helps us become good doctors in the future. Even though examinations are a bit difficult, the passing percentage is quite high, around 95-98%.

Placement: Talking about placements and internships, all students who pass out from our college definitely get a job somewhere, which is great. The salary range for these placements is pretty good, from 6 lakhs per year up to 18 lakhs per year. Also, a good thing is that every single student gets to do their internship at government hospitals. These internships cover many important areas like Surgery, Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, and other fields.

Campus: At our college, we have a proper Central Library and each hostel also has reading rooms, which is useful. We've got four lecture theatres with working ACs and separate labs for every department. No free Wi-Fi for us though. The campus is big, with good courts for games and sports, and even the hostels have separate lawns for playing. Hostel facilities are just average, but the mess food is good quality. Also, there's free medical help available 24 hours a day.

Academic: From my experience, the teachers and all the faculty members here are nice and polite. They always come to college on time. Our classes have smart facilities, and teachers use projectors for teaching us. There are around 100 teachers for a batch of 190 students, which is a good number. All these teachers are super qualified, many of them even have doctorates in their subjects. They are truly excellent.

Placement: For us MBBS students, placements are not that important because we all aim for post-graduation. Our college actually does very well in those PG entrance exams. When we do internships, our college pays us 8,500 rupees each month.

Campus: Our college has good facilities. The campus is quite nice. Labs are properly equipped and always maintained well. For hostels, there are 5 in total, 4 for boys and 1 for girls. The rooms are good but the food is just average.
