Admission: The teachers at Himachal Dental College really know their stuff when it comes to the subjects they teach. It's awesome because it helps us students get ready for our future in dentistry. All of our teachers have postgraduate degrees and have passed their MS exams. The passing rate is around 50 percent.
Placement: Our group had around 60 students, all studying BDS. The college doesn't arrange placements or offer job packages, but they do have exchange programs. One cool thing is that lots of students from other places come here for internships.
Campus: The college has Wi-Fi, which is cool. The hostel is nice, and the food is tasty. We've got table tennis, badminton, and other fun games to play. Our departments like ortho, prostho, period, pedo, and endo are well-equipped. The library is huge, with space for around 100 people to sit at once.

Admission: The teachers are okay, but they don't really help much. Sometimes they compare us a lot, which can push us to do better, but it also causes problems. When teachers and students don't understand each other, it can affect our grades. Overall, this college isn't the best choice. I wouldn't recommend going here.
Placement: There aren't any job placements here. No companies hire from this college. If you want to make it in this field, you gotta be good. Start your own clinic to earn cash. Work hard and be the best that's the key.
Campus: The college has okay infrastructure, but it's not as great as bigger colleges. There are only 350 students here, so the campus is pretty small. The library is big, but the sports options are just badminton and cricket. Wi-Fi is there, but the canteen food isn't good. It's better to eat outside for tastier food.

Admission: The teachers here are amazing! The course is approved by DCI and you get a degree from AMRU. The BDS program lasts for 5 years, including a one-year internship. You'll have exams for 4 years: 3 in the first, second, and third years, and 8 in the last year. Overall, the difficulty level is just about right.
Placement: The college doesn't focus on placements, but they teach us well. They prepare us to run our own clinic and be successful. Most BDS students aim for NEET PG seats, so they're not too concerned about placements. Some students consider the commission exam instead.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi, which is handy. The OMR Department has CBCT machines. The Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics sees a lot of patients. The teachers in the Department of Prosthodontics and Implantology and Crown and Bridge are really skilled.

Admission: The teachers here are really great. They know their stuff and always ready to help. We get to do hands-on work in real medical settings. The study plan follows all the new DCI rules. The college is now linked with AMRU instead of HPU. AMRU is a bit tougher when it comes to exams, though.
Placement: Your job options after BDS depend on if you want to work in clinics or not. If you go the clinical route, you'll need to pass NEET MS. For non-clinical work, you can look into Maharashtra courses, MPH, or jobs in pharmacovigilance companies. It's good to have different paths to choose from after graduation.
Campus: The college has okay buildings, but they're always fixing things up. The campus has a really pretty garden with a view of mountains. They've also upgraded the canteen and library, which is cool. Overall, the campus is decent.

Admission: The teachers at this college are awesome! They know their stuff and are always ready to help out. They're super nice and respectful. You never feel like you're being treated unfairly. They're so friendly that you never feel lonely or homesick here.
Placement: After finishing BDS, it all comes down to the exams for placements. Most students go for MS and land good jobs. The internships are great, and some prefer doing clinical work. There are plenty of other career opportunities too after BDS.
Campus: The hostels here are awesome! The rooms are big, the bathrooms are clean, and the wardens are super nice. They've got everything you need in the rooms: closets, desks, chairs, and comfy beds. The food in the hostel mess is top-notch, and there's a canteen too. Staying here, you never miss home.

Admission: The teachers and postgrad students at this college are really friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help you with any academic issues you might have. It's rare to find that kind of support nowadays. All the teachers have a Master's degree and lots of practical experience. The college is pretty strict about attendance you gotta have at least 75% to stay in good standing.
Placement: I graduated from Himachal Dental College in 2019. The college offers a 5-year BDS course with a 4-year internship. They accept 60 students each year, so our batch had 60 students. Himachal Dental College has departments for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
Campus: The college has all the latest machinery and technology, like CBCT machines. It's the only dental college in north India with its own CBCT machines. The central library is huge and has all the books you need. Plus, there's an e-library too. The lecture theaters are all smart classes. There are two canteens, one of them is outside. You can stay in the hostel, but it's not required. You'll have a shared room with your own bathroom.

Admission: The teaching at our college is really good. Exams are tough, but that's expected in the medical field. The head of the PhD department is amazing and super supportive. All the teachers are smart and know their stuff.
Placement: After graduating, lots of students are getting good jobs in clinics. The main job you can get is as a dental practitioner. You can also do a master's degree here, like MDS, MHA, MPH, etc. The college doesn't guarantee jobs, but grads are doing well.
Campus: The college building is okay, but the hostels are a bit far, like 1 to 2 km away. The departments here are great, especially Orthodontics and Endodontics. The library is also nice for studying. In the anatomy lab, we've got 2 cadavers to work with. Overall, it's a good place to study.
