Admission: The teachers at IHM Kolkata are amazing! They teach us really well. They know so much. They don't just teach us for exams, but also get us ready for the real world. The exams are tough, but it's good practice for job interviews with top companies. The teachers help us handle tough situations in interviews.

Placement: IHM Kolkata has really good placements, with almost everyone getting a job. The pay ranges from 1.8 lakhs to 8 lakhs per year. Big companies like Taj, Oberoi, Marriott, and Hyatt come for placements. About 80% of students do internships at Taj, Hyatt, JW Marriott, and others. The best part is that students often get offers for management training (MT) here.

Campus: IHM Kolkata has a lot of cool stuff. They've got different kitchens for training, a library, and even a restaurant for practice. The hostel food is tasty and clean, which is awesome. Plus, the hostel warden lives on campus to help out in case of emergencies and make sure everyone follows the rules. It's a pretty good setup overall at IHM Kolkata.

Admission: The teachers here are really great. They know their stuff and have lots of experience. They're pros at teaching and give us helpful notes.

Placement: Our college has amazing placement opportunities with a 99% placement rate. I heard that about 80% of students get placed, which is really great. It's known as the top college for placements in Hotel Management in East India. Over 60 companies came to hire students for the 2022-23 placements, from hotels to retail companies.

Campus: I really like the infrastructure at our college. They give us everything we need, like projectors in the classrooms and charging tables for laptops. Our college has the best facilities in East India, which is great for learning hotel management. It helps us become leaders in the industry.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They make sure to clear up any doubts we have even outside of class. All of them have a lot of experience from working in hotels. They're all super qualified, with Ph.D., MBA, and M.Sc. degrees. The teaching is good because they mix theory with real-life examples. The exams in each semester can be tough if you don't study, but if you do, they're not too bad. The pass rate is around 90%, so most people pass if they put in the effort.

Placement: Our group has around 300 students, split into different sections. The college hooks us up with great job opportunities. The highest salary you can snag is 4 LPA, while the average is 2.5 LPA. Big names like Taj, Oberoi, and more come to hire us. In our 2nd year, we all gotta do an internship. Almost everyone lands one at places like Taj and Oberoi. They offer cool roles like chief, service associate, and others. Love the hands-on experience we get here!

Campus: The college has great facilities for studying and teaching. We've got air-conditioned labs, drink services, computer labs, and a front office. The classrooms are cool with fancy projectors. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi for students. The hostel is pretty nice with washing machines, irons, and good food. They even have a doctor on call. Plus, we can play games like carrom, football, basketball, and cricket. And there's a basketball court and a ground for sports.

Admission: The professors at our college are really good. They teach us what it's really like in the hotel industry. The exams each semester aren't too difficult if you put in the effort to study. But if you want to make it in the hotel industry, you've got to work really hard. IHM Kolkata will get you ready for everything you need to know. Just stay focused on your dreams.

Placement: Even during the pandemic, IHM Kolkata managed to get over 80% of students jobs in retail and hotels. It's a top choice for studying hotel management. If you're passionate about hotels and eager to learn, this is the place to be. Plus, since it's a government college, the fees are lower compared to private colleges like IIHM. Great value for your money!

Campus: The college's infrastructure is okay. But the hostel facilities are good they even serve lunch to everyone. The classrooms may not be top-notch, but the education you receive is valuable. Plus, they have air-conditioners in the practical classrooms, which is a nice perk.

Admission: The teachers are really friendly and super helpful. They all have degrees in hotel management and expertise in tourism or hospitality. Some teachers even graduated from top IIMs. They are all really smart. They always support students with research. But exams in the semester are quite challenging.

Placement: I'm really happy with the 100% placement at our college. The highest salary offered is 10 lakhs per year, while the lowest is 2.4 lakhs per year. Companies like Reliance, Aditya Birla, Myntra, ITC, Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Marriott, Novotel, Burger King, McDonald's, KFC, Maifair, HMS Host, Taco Bell, and more come for recruitment. It's great to see so many top companies hiring from our college.

Campus: The college and hostel have free Wi-Fi, lunch, and a canteen. The kitchen is great for all students. The placement cell is active. The food in the hostel is top-notch. There are triple sharing rooms in the hostel, and in the M.Sc. hostel, there are double sharing and personal rooms too. It's easy to get a night out on Saturdays and Sundays. A doctor is available every day. However, there's no medicine shop on campus.
