Students whose family income is less than INR 6,00,000 per year are eligible to apply for this scheme. The scholarship aids students by paying the interest subsidy on their educational loan for 27 months.

IDIIFT - New Scholarship Scheme

The New Scholarship Scheme (NSS) at IIFT Delhi is aimed at ten percent of students admitted in regular programs. The scheme provides scholarships that cover 20% of the tuition fees for all full-time and regular courses. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship include a family income of less than INR 8,00,000 per annum and the scholarship amount is disbursed to students after completion of their full-time program. The scholarship's distribution is based on both means and merit, with 70% weightage given to financial need (means) and 30% to academic achievement (merit).

IDIIFT - Scholarships offered by Government of India

There are also scholarships offered by the Government of India. These include various central and state-level scholarships available to students. The criteria for these scholarships are similar to the one provided for the New Scholarship Scheme (NSS).

IDIIFT - Scholarships offered by Other Organizations

Other organizations also offer scholarships to IIFT Delhi students, with two notable ones being the Exim Bank Scholarship and the OPJEMS Scholarship. The Exim Bank Scholarship is awarded to the top-performing student among the reserved category (SC/ST) students, equivalent to the tuition fees paid by the reserved category student in the first year of the 2-Year Full-Time MBA Programme in International Business, up to a maximum of INR 3,50,000. The OPJEMS Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to first and second-year MBA(IB) students of the Delhi Campus. It is awarded on the basis of an online test and interview conducted by the OP Jindal Group, with the selected students receiving INR 1,50,000 as scholarship money.

IDIIFT - Financial Aid and Student Loans

Aside from scholarships, IIFT Delhi also assists its students in securing financial aid in the form of student loans. Various banks, including Indian Bank, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Union Bank, and the State Bank of India, offer loans to IIFT students. The State Bank of India, in particular, provides student loans of up to INR 40,00,000.
