Admission: The teachers here are a mix of good and not-so-good, but it's mostly up to you to make the most of it. The courses are okay, but it can be hard to get a good grade compared to other colleges. To graduate with a BTech degree, you need a CGPA of 5 or more. But if you want good job opportunities, aim for around a 7.5 CGPA. It's all in your hands in the end!

Placement: The placement season at IIIT Jabalpur in 2023-24 ended well. 65% of students got jobs above INR 10 LPA. The highest offer in India was INR 110 LPA, and internationally, it was INR 122 LPA. Three students got international offers. Undergrads got around INR 19.27 LPA on average, while postgrads got INR 12.54 LPA. In total, 284 offers were given out by 90+ companies.

Campus: The teachers are fine, and the classrooms and labs are in good shape since the college is relatively new. The hostels here are better than most old NITs. The rooms have three beds, enough space, personal wardrobes, and electricity almost all the time. Sometimes there are issues, though. On campus, you'll find canteens and food stalls to satisfy your cravings. The mess is just okay, not great. There are about 14 sports clubs run by students. You can pick a sport you like and join in.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful, they answer all your questions and not just about school stuff. But some teachers aren't great and don't seem into teaching. The semester exams are tough, kinda like NITs, not exactly a walk in the park. They do grading on a curve here at IIIT Jabalpur. Overall, it's okay.

Placement: I'm studying computer science, and most students here get placed around 85% of us! The highest salary offered for CSE is 1.10 crore in India, with an average of 18 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Nvidia come for placements. I'd say the placement scene is pretty good overall.

Campus: The campus at IIIT Jabalpur is awesome! It's huge, covering 300 acres. There are academic buildings, research centers, and cool classrooms. The library is full of books, research papers, and digital stuff. They've got hostels for guys and girls, with Wi-Fi and mess services. Even the faculty and staff live on campus. And for fun, there are playgrounds, sports fields, courts for basketball and tennis, and an indoor gym. It's a great place to study and have a good time!

Admission: The teachers at this college are really experienced. They do lab sessions to help us understand things better. They're friendly and teach us all the new stuff. We have tests and exams regularly to make sure we're learning.

Placement: The college's Placement cell is super helpful in finding us jobs in different companies, both in India and abroad. On average, we're looking at around 20 to 25 lakhs per year for placements, but this year someone even landed a job with a package of over 1 crore! Lots of big companies come to our campus for recruitment.

Campus: The campus here is great! We have the LHTC for classes, a Computer Centre for labs, and an admin block. Plus, there are six hostels for students to live in. It's a nice setup for studying and living on campus.

Admission: The curriculum was really old-fashioned. It didn't help with real-life problems at all. Some teachers were nice, but most were just full of themselves. They didn't care about students and even ignored real health issues.

Placement: Placement in our year was decent. Around half of the students didn't get placed, but there was a recession going on, so it's understandable. I feel like the placement officer could have done more, though. The highest salary offered was 52 LPA.

Campus: The buildings were nice, especially the hostels and lecture halls. The professors were kind of arrogant and didn't seem to care about us students. They just had big egos and didn't treat us with respect.

Admission: The courses here are pretty standard like in other Indian colleges, but there are some interesting value-based subjects. The environment really prepares us for the industry. Exams are okay, they're not too hard, and the grades are usually on the lower side. If you study just a week before, you can do well.

Placement: The placements are pretty good at our college. Companies like Google, Flipkart, and Accenture come for hiring students. Most students end up getting placed through campus placements. But the overall vibe is good, so you don't have to stress too much about finding a job.

Campus: The campus is pretty good. In the first and second years, we share hostel rooms with two other people. We have LAN for internet, which usually works well. The canteen food is tasty, but the mess food is just okay not great every day.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff, but sometimes they can be hard to follow (like in most colleges). The curriculum matches up well with the different subjects. The classes and clubs here help us get ready for the industry. The exams each semester aren't too tough. If you attend classes regularly, you can do well and get good grades. They use a grading system where an F means you didn't pass.

Placement: I was really impressed by the high salary packages offered here. The international one was 122 LPA, while the domestic one was 110 LPA. There were over 90 companies that made more than 284 offers to students. What's cool is that we can do project-based internships for 6 months to get a taste of the real corporate world. It's a great way to learn and grow!

Campus: The college has great infrastructure. We have academic buildings, lecture halls, computer labs, and a library with everything we need. There's also an open-air theatre, student centers, and a playground on campus. Lots of food options too! Each hostel has a canteen, and there's a Nescafe, Amul shop, Domino's, and a grocery store open till late. The hostels have LAN connections, though sometimes they don't work. There's even a bank on campus. I love that there are many footpaths and roads. Security is tight with guards always on duty. It feels safe here.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart, they graduated from top colleges. They teach well too. Exams are split into four parts - quiz 1, quiz 2, midsem, and endsem. Each part counts differently depending on the subject. If you put in the effort to study, the exams aren't too hard.

Placement: I found that the placements for computer science and engineering are really good here. But for branches like ECE and ME, they're just okay. The average pay you can get after graduating depends on what you studied. In computer science, the average pay is about 19 LPA. Other branches might get different amounts.

Campus: The college has good facilities. They have labs for computer, ECE, and mechanical work. There's also a library. The hostels are nice and the canteens are separate for each hostel. Plus, there's a canteen near the lecture hall for everyone.

Admission: The teachers are awesome and studied abroad. They teach really well in all the smart classrooms. I'm studying Smart Manufacturing, which covers cool topics like IoT, IIoT, CPPS, Business Analysis, SolidWorks, and more. These subjects are super useful for getting a job. Exams aren't too tough, but it varies depending on the course and the teacher. Most students pass with over a 95% success rate.

Placement: I'm in Smart Manufacturing, and let me tell you, the placements aren't as high as CSE or ECE, but they're picking up. Last year, some students landed Business Analyst gigs at Meesho, Playsimple Games, and PwC. A few others got core jobs in Smart Manufacturing. The top offer was 23 LPA, and the lowest was 13 LPA. It's looking good for us!

Campus: The classrooms at IIITDM Jabalpur are really nice. They're all smart classes, and the lecture hall is Wi-Fi-enabled. The library has tons of books on engineering and fiction. The hostels are good too, and the rent is only 11,000 INR, which is pretty cheap. First and second-year students stay in triple sharing rooms in Hall 3 and Hall 4. Third and fourth-year students get single rooms in Panini and Hall 1 hostels.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. They got their PhDs from top IIITs and really know their stuff. They teach us in a way that makes things easy to grasp, so we don't have to stress about studying too much. Everything's explained clearly, and we get it without any trouble.

Placement: There are a lot of students in our CSE department, more than in other departments. The average salary here is 18 LPA, which is really good. Some students get a minimum of 10 LPA, but the highest can go up to 50 LPA. We have the opportunity to do internships too.

Campus: The labs and classrooms here are great, and the library is really nice compared to other colleges. I enjoyed spending time in the classrooms and labs. The Wi-Fi isn't that great because we're in a forest area, so the signal isn't very strong. The food at the mess is not good at all it's pretty terrible.

Admission: The teachers at this college really know their stuff and they're all qualified. They teach really well and are super helpful. You can ask them anything and they'll help you out. The course content is spot on for each subject and gets us ready for the real world. Exams can be a bit tricky sometimes, but they're not too hard overall.

Placement: Most students get placed, around 80-90%. The highest package is 110 LPA, lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 18 LPA. Big companies like NVIDIA, Accenture, Oracle, Atlassian, and Deloitte hire here. About 50-60% of students land internships at places like Google, Amazon, and Accenture. Internship recruitment is all online, with only a few companies visiting campus. You can also look for off-campus internships.

Campus: The college has Central A.C. in classrooms, labs, and libraries, which is nice. But, the hotel rooms don't have A.C., so you need to get your own cooler with permission from the warden. The food in the mess is average, both veg and non-veg. In the first and second years, you share a room with 3 other students, but in the third year, you get your own single room. Each hostel has its own canteen, but the second year™s canteen has the best food. They even serve non-veg dishes there. The college has a Primary Health Care Centre with an ambulance available 24/7. There are plenty of sports clubs to choose from, so you can join the one you like.
