The IIM Ahmedabad ranking in India remains #1 in the latest NIRF Management ranking. IIMA secured the first position in 2025 with a score of 83.29, ahead of IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode. The institute has maintained the NIRF Management Rank 1 position from 2020 onwards.

This consistent performance makes IIM Ahmedabad one of the strongest-ranked management institutes in the country. The institute's official website also states that it has been ranked first among B-schools in India by NIRF since 2020.

IIM Ahmedabad secured Rank 1 in the NIRF Management Ranking 2025 with an overall score of 83.29. The institute has held the top position in the NIRF Management category since 2020. In 2025, IIMA scored 98.72 in Graduation Outcomes, 93.26 in Perception and 91.84 in Teaching, Learning & Resources.

For 2026, IIM Ahmedabad has submitted its NIRF Management data, but the NIRF 2026 Management ranking has not yet been announced. Therefore, #1 in NIRF 2025 remains the latest released NIRF ranking for IIMA. IIMA's own ranking page marks the 2026 NIRF result as "to be announced."

IIM Ahmedabad is therefore among the top 10 full-time MBA programmes in Asia in the QS 2026 ranking.

The IIM Ahmedabad ranking in the world varies according to the ranking organisation. Financial Times ranked IIMA's MBA-PGPX #27 globally in its Global MBA Ranking 2026, while QS ranked the programme #58 worldwide.

The Financial Times ranking is particularly strong for IIMA's MBA-PGPX in career outcomes. The programme secured #3 globally for Career Progress in the 2026 FT Global MBA Ranking. IIMA also reported that 100% of faculty in the ranking have doctorates.
