Academic: The internal teachers here are really good at IIM Amritsar. Also, we have outside teachers coming from top B-schools like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Indore, and XLRI, which is a big plus. So, for academics, our college offers all the advantages you could ask for. They also give us study materials and case studies that are super relevant for our learning.

Placement: The average salary package here keeps increasing steadily ever since they started the placements. Really good companies visit our campus to hire. The salary packages offered by them are pretty satisfying, especially when you consider the 12 lakhs fee we invest.

Campus: IIM Amritsar, the hostel is pretty decent, actually. It has a separate playground, an activity room, and good space for students to stay. Right now, there are limited facilities in general because the college doesn't have its own campus or permanent hostel yet. It will probably take another 2-3 years for them to get one. But even with these limitations, the administration has done a phenomenal job managing budgets so far.

Academic: The teachers here are a mix of on-campus and guest faculty. We get professors from B-Schools all over the country to teach us different subjects. Our course curriculum is quite similar to what other B-Schools offer. In the first year, all subjects are compulsory, and in the second year, we get to choose our own elective subjects.

Placement: Placements here are really good, like 100% of students got placed. So many top companies come to our campus, including names like Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, CRISIL, ICICI Lombard, Cipla, and lots more. For summer internships too, all the students, like 100% of them, got placed in good roles such as Marketing manager, product manager, and financial analyst type jobs.

Campus: So about our college, the hostel and campus are in different spots because we are on a temporary campus right now. But don't worry, both the campus and the hostel have really good facilities. You get super-fast Wi-Fi everywhere, nice canteens, and classrooms with e-learning too.

Academic: IIM Amritsar the faculty is seriously top-notch. Many of our teachers have worked in big companies for over 10 years, even with really famous brands across India. What they teach us is just amazing, you can't find this level of knowledge easily at other colleges. And it's not just the in-house professors; for many subjects, IIM Amritsar also gets outside experts who are super good in their areas.

Placement: For the past four years, IIM Amritsar has had 100% placements every single time. It's because our students have different backgrounds and good skills, so lots of big companies come to recruit. They give jobs in all the important management fields like Marketing, Finance, Operations, Analytics, and general Management too. Some of the well-known companies that hired from here include ICICI Lombard, Motilal Oswal, Anand Rathi, and Thomas Cook Group.

Campus: From my experience, the hostel here has one of the best infrastructures compared to other business schools in India. The whole hostel has Wi-Fi, which gives students everything they need to focus on their studies. Also, we have a badminton court, a big playground where students always play football and cricket, a pool table, chess, and many more facilities for us.

Placement: IIM Amritsar has really excellent placements. Our college is the fastest-growing IIM since it started, which is pretty cool. Because of this, many big companies and even new startups come here, giving job offers in almost every field. We've seen good numbers for both summer internships and final placements too.

Campus: My college is at a temporary spot, but it has everything basic we need. The good news is, we are getting ready to move to our own makeshift campus in Manewala very soon. For connectivity, WiFi is available in both the college area and in the hostels. Speaking of hostels, ours are seriously some of the best across all IIMs, even the older ones. We actually get 2 BHK and 4 BHK flats there, and they have good security too.

Because of these great teachers and a modern curriculum, students here definitely become ready for the industry.

Placement: Our college does a great job with placements. Almost 100% of our senior batch, like the 2018-2020 group, got placed. The highest salary someone got was around 40 LPA, and the lowest was about 10 LPA. Big companies like the 'big four', ICICI Lombard, Group M, and L&T often come to our campus to hire. For our batch, 100% of us secured summer internships in really good companies like Cipla, Landmark, L&T, Crisil, and many others. They offer roles such as risk management and underwriting here.

Campus: My classrooms have really good infrastructure, like smart boards, air-conditioners, and proper microphone facilities. The library here is also very well-equipped with all the latest stuff. Plus, we get high-speed Wi-Fi everywhere, whether it's on campus or in the hostel. Right now, our college is running on a temporary campus. The hostels are located a bit far, around 8-10 km from the campus itself. But the quality of facilities in the hostel is same as campus, with nice rooms and all proper amenities. The food served in the mess is also top-class. Even medical and sports facilities are very good here.

Some of the top companies are DELOITTE, ANAND RATHER, ICICI LOMBARD, and LARSEN AMD TOUBRO. Even good places like RESERVE BANK OF INDIA, DELHIVERY, and OYO recruit from here.

Campus: Hostel has really nice rooms, and they are mostly dual sharing. The toilets are always clean and there are enough of them for everyone. Food here is also quite good, with lots of different options to eat. For any health emergencies, we have 24-hour medical help, and the hostel warden is always available. They even have a small shop set up by the hostel which is very useful for all the students.

Campus: My college might not have its own permanent campus yet, but honestly, you will not miss a thing because of that. All the classes here are fully equipped with everything they need. The hostel feels just like a home away from home, which is very comforting. Plus, for games, there are separate playgrounds for volleyball, football, cricket, and badminton.

Also, the college has awesome internship chances and the facilities are truly top-notch.

Campus: Our college and hostel facilities are really good, you know. The canteen and mess here have lots of tasty food options, which is a big plus. For MBA students, there's a special block just for our course. Also, the whole campus has Wi-Fi, which makes things easy. Our library is pretty good too, with many quality books for Masters students, and we can access all the research papers we need. Plus, the classrooms are big and have projectors and other tools to help us learn better.

Academic: My main goal for doing MBA at IIM Amritsar was always to become a Marketing Manager in an FMCG firm. We have three terms in a year, and each term goes on for three months. Usually, one professor teaches a class of around 60 students. The faculty members here are really knowledgeable and super supportive. Most of our teachers use the case study method for teaching in the classroom. All the students at IIM Amritsar are highly competitive, so you have to put in extra effort if you want to score good marks.

Placement: IIM Amritsar does a really good job helping students get their final placements and also summer internships. For recruiting, companies come to the campus around the 5th trimester itself. This time, over 120 companies visited us, and that list included popular ones like Adani, Accenture, EY, KPMG, Teach Mahindra, Maruti & Suzuki, and Yes Bank, plus many others like BenQ, Crisil, Essar, EXL, Genpact, HCL, kore.Ai, LatentView Analytics, Porter, Schindler, Tata Capital, Tiger Analytics, TVS, VIP, and ZS. The average package was 16.51 Lacs, and for the top performers, it went even higher to 20.57 Lacs.

Campus: About IIM Amritsar is their good sports setup. You can find all the main indoor and outdoor sports facilities right there at the hostel premises. The college also hosts 'Aarunya', which is a cool fest for cultural, sports, and business events. Every year, we have five business conclaves too. Right now, IIM Amritsar is working from the Punjab Institute of Technology campus because it doesn't have its own campus yet. The library here is really helpful with both physical books and online study materials. Plus, our institute ID lets us use premium online journals and tools. All classrooms are modern, IT-enabled, and have everything we need.
