Admission: Our college has some of the best teachers in the country. They really care about helping us succeed. The courses are like what top IIMs offer, so we can join different activities. It's cool that teachers travel all over to teach us.
Placement: As part of the first batch, we had a tough time getting job offers from companies since we were unknown in the market. It was challenging because our college mentor didn't offer much support. But with hard work, we eventually landed opportunities with some decent companies.
Campus: When we started, the college setup was just okay because we were the first group. We had a bunch of problems at first like bad wifi, power cuts, and food issues. But as time went on, things got better. Some stuff got fixed, and some are getting there. Oh, by the way, there's no airport nearby.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff well. Some come from IIM, Indore as visiting faculty. Professor Prantosh Banerjee teaches Marketing with 27 years of experience he's top-notch. The permanent teachers are also very experienced. Each subject is worth 3 credits, so life at IIM Sambalpur can get busy with lots of subjects. But it's worth it for all the knowledge you gain.
Placement: The college is awesome for placements. In 2017, everyone got placed with good pay. The average salary was around 10.55 LPA, and the highest was 60 LPA! Lots of cool companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, and more came for hiring. Even during the summer internships in 2018, big names like EY and Burger came by. Great opportunities here!
Campus: The campus is temporary but most facilities are good. Classrooms have smart boards and projectors. Wi-Fi is fast everywhere. Library has fewer books but a great digital collection with Bloomberg terminal access. Hostels offer non-AC 2-sharing rooms for girls and boys. They have washing machines and geysers. Food is tasty. No outdoor sports facilities on campus, but Sambalpur University ground is close by.

Some even teach at other IIMs too. The courses they design are top-notch. Classes are cool and interactive, with class participation counting for around 10% to 20% of the grade.
Placement: IIM Sambalpur rocked the placements in 2017, with everyone getting a job. The top salary was 60.78 lakhs a year from a foreign company, while the average was 10.55 lakhs. In 2018, summer internships paid around Rs. 70,000 for two months, with the highest offer at Rs. 1,60,000.
Campus: The campus at IIM Sambalpur is temporary but the classrooms are nice. They have two projectors and AC. Boys and girls have separate hostels. The rooms have two cots, study tables, and lockers for each student. They also provide washing machines, geysers, and RO water. The food is great, but there's no place for outdoor games.

Admission: The best thing about IIM is the faculty. They come from top colleges in India, so you get a lot of knowledge. They use international teaching methods and case studies. The first year is tough with lots of work, but it's still fun to learn.
Placement: The placements at this college are pretty good, especially since it's one of the newest IIMs. Everyone in my batch got a job with an average salary of around 10 LPA. Companies from different fields like finance, consulting, and FMCG came to hire us. And every student also landed an internship.
Campus: The campus is a collab with Silicon Institute of Technology, but it feels just like any other IIM. We've got fast internet, big rooms, AC classrooms, a library with lots of books, a football field, gym, and sports room. It's all here!

Campus: I really like studying at IIM Sambalpur. Right now, we're using the Silicon Institute of Technology campus, but it's pretty cool. The facilities are top-notch, just like you'd expect from an IIM. And we're getting our own campus soon. The campus is awesome, and I love being here.

Placement: The placement coordinator is really helpful with giving us fresh ideas and assisting us in finding job opportunities. It's great for students looking to start their own businesses in different areas. Some of us suggest pursuing master's degrees for more in-depth knowledge. The placement success rate is impressive, with over 82% of students finding jobs.

Admission: The teachers at IIM Sambalpur are top-notch. They've got permanent teachers from here and visiting teachers from IIM Indore, IIM Calcutta, MDI Gurgaon, and IIM Bangalore. Most of them have been teaching for over 10 years, some even for over 20 years! The 2-year program is packed with lots of subjects thanks to each subject being worth 3 credits. It's all about getting as much knowledge as possible in those 2 years.
Placement: The college has been getting 100% placements every year since it started. In 2017, everyone who went for placements got a job, with an average salary of 10.55 lakhs per year. The highest salary that year was 60.74 lakhs per year. The middle salary was 9 lakhs per year. For summer internships in 2018, 59 companies took part and gave out 102 offers. The average stipend was Rs. 70,078, and the highest was Rs. 1,60,000. Companies like BPCL, HPCL, Philips, Patanjali, and more come for placements and internships.
Campus: I love the IIM Sambalpur campus, even though it's temporary. The classrooms are top-notch with AC and comfy furniture. They've got this cool gallery-style setup in the new classrooms. Wi-Fi works great everywhere in class and in the hostels. Speaking of hostels, they're awesome! There are separate ones for girls and boys. Rooms are shared by two students, but they're big and cozy. Unfortunately, the rooms don't have AC, but the common rooms do. The mess hall is clean and serves tasty food. Plus, there are fun extras like indoor sports, washing machines, geysers, and RO water. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers at my college, IIM Sambalpur, all have PhDs. We've got amazing teachers here. Mr. Prantosh Banerjee teaches marketing, and we've got BBC teaching finance. The teaching quality is top-notch, just like any other IIM. Some teachers have over 20 years of experience. They show us real-life problems and help us come up with strategies for different situations.
Placement: The summer placements for my batch are going really well. Big companies have hired us for different roles. Even some startups have picked students from our batch. Most students already have jobs in top companies. A few got more than one offer. Final placements this year are great too. New companies are coming to hire students. This year, we have more job options to choose from compared to last year. We're happy with the choices we have for companies to work at.
Campus: The college is in a temporary campus, but they've made it look like an IIM building. The classrooms have all the latest stuff for studying. They've got both a regular library and a digital one. There are 3 hostels, and each room is for 2 students. The hostels have common areas for hanging out and even a dance room. The whole place has Wi-Fi. The food they serve is top-notch, with dishes from all over India. It feels like home!

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. They're always there to help us out with any questions we have. They teach us in a cool way that mixes classroom stuff with real-world learning. The course work is up-to-date and matches what's happening in the industry right now.
Placement: The college placements are pretty good. And the best part is, you'll graduate with an IIM tag. Every year, the average package for placements goes up. Plus, there's a 100% placement record. They also hook you up with a summer internship. Even though it's just starting, lots of students already have their placements lined up.
Campus: Right now, we're using a temporary campus while the permanent one gets built. We're having classes at Sambalpur University campus. Each student has their own room for classes. The classrooms are big and have AC, which is nice.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really friendly and always ready to help. You can reach out to them anytime, even on WhatsApp. They have over 10 years of experience and know their stuff. The course syllabus covers a lot to prepare us for the industry and teaches us how to solve actual business issues.
Placement: For my batch (2020-22), everyone got summer jobs, and for the batch before (2019-21), everyone got full-time jobs. This year, even with the pandemic, lots of companies came for placements. It was pretty cool to see so many options despite everything going on.
Campus: The hostel rooms here are cool - they've got Wi-Fi, a water cooler, and even a washing machine. The food is awesome for meat-eaters, but just okay for vegetarians. The classrooms are top-notch, and there's a massive library with lots of resources. Plus, the rooms have balconies with a sweet view of the hills. And hey, the Hirakund Dam is right nearby, making this place super pretty.
