Admission: The IISER faculty are all scientists who know a lot about research. They've also collaborated with research institutes worldwide. The tests throughout the semester can be tough for us students. We're free to go to the lab anytime and do projects all semester long. The pass rate is around 87%.

Placement: The placements in 2023 were pretty good on campus. But after that, since it's a research college, the job scene isn't great. Most students end up going for more studies instead of jobs. The highest salary package they offer is around 23 lakhs per year, while the lowest is 18 lakhs per year. Big companies like Morgan Stanley, IBM, and Microsoft come to hire students. Some popular roles are science writers and quantitative analysts. A bunch of students also got internships, which is cool.

Campus: The hotel rooms are really cozy and the bathrooms are clean. They have Wi-Fi and power all day long. The mess serves veg and vegan food, with lots of tasty South and North Indian options. Plus, there's a clinic open on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Admission: The teachers here are really friendly, helpful, and know their stuff. The course is set up well. Every semester, we have mid-term and final exams. Whether we have them or not depends on the teachers. No quizzes, just exams that are kinda tough but doable.

Placement: At this college, they don't focus much on placements. Most students here are all about getting a Ph.D. They usually follow the advice and head overseas to do their Ph.D. Some students also try applying to different companies for a decent pay and a good work-life balance.

Campus: The place has everything you need. After getting your Ph.D, you get your own room with a bed, cupboard, and study table. The library is awesome and quiet, with all kinds of books available. The seating setup is comfortable too.

Admission: The professors at INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH are really helpful, super knowledgeable, and great at teaching. The school is all about research, getting us ready for the industry. It's awesome!

Placement: At INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH in BHOPAL, around 78% of students get placed every year. The highest package is about 18 LPA, and big companies like Tata and Deloitte come for hiring. Also, lots of students land internships in universities abroad.

Campus: The facilities at our school are top-notch! We've got great Wi-Fi, labs, awesome classrooms, a big library, and a computer center. The hostel is awesome too, with 24/7 security and cleaners to keep it clean. And let's not forget about the delicious mess food and the health center on campus. Overall, everything is pretty great here!

Admission: The professors in my department are really helpful and know a lot about their subjects. They love teaching, which is cool. The teaching here is top-notch, just like at the best colleges in the country. The math degree program has a really up-to-date curriculum with interesting electives. It might not be the absolute best for getting a job right away, but it's great for improving problem-solving skills. There's no set passing grade, and the semester exams are pretty challenging.

Placement: Not many people do interviews here. If you're a good student, companies will look at you for sure. You just need to be ready for the business world. I don't have exact numbers, but I've heard the average package is around 18 LPA. Companies like Nomura have been recruiting here for a while. In my course, most students do internships at academic places, while only a couple go for corporate internships. I know a couple who interned at TCS. A lot of students in my course aim for doctoral positions.

Campus: The department facilities are really good. They keep everything in top shape. The hostel is a bit small, but they're building a new one. The food at the mess is like any other college mess, but it's a bit better here. The shops have a lot of stuff to choose from. The medical help is quick and top-notch. The sports facilities are nice, but they're still working on getting permanent grounds for some sports.

Admission: The professors here are super knowledgeable. They're top-notch in India and some are even famous worldwide. They know their stuff, but sometimes they struggle to connect with students. If you pay attention and really listen, you'll see how important every word they say is. The course plan is really good and suits all kinds of students. There's always room for improvement, but they do listen to feedback and try to make things better. The exams are fair, as long as you study well. I can't speak for the pass rate since it depends on how the professors grade.

Placement: I go to IISER Bhopal, which is a research institute. Not many students from natural sciences get placed in companies, but lots of Ph.D. placements happen here. Some students think they'll easily get a job because of the Indian Institute tag. But many end up in non-science fields. There aren't many engineering placements, which makes sense since natural sciences don't teach industry skills. This place is great for studying and researching.

Campus: The campus has awesome Wi-Fi everywhere. The labs have cool high-tech stuff. Classrooms are really nice. The library is good but could use more books. Hostel life is great - all needs are met in shared rooms for two. Boys and girls have separate hostels. The mess food is better than expected. The canteen is okay, not amazing. The only issue is that everything closes at midnight. We can call for medical help 24/7 with an ambulance. There are lots of sports facilities like basketball, football, tennis, volleyball, cricket, and more. Gyms are available for everyone. It's a good place overall.

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff. They set us up to go head-to-head with top colleges worldwide. How tough the exams are really depends on the professor. The courses cover a bit of everything, getting us ready with a wide range of knowledge.

Placement: After finishing their master's, lots of students choose to do a PhD abroad. Only a small number go for jobs and get placed. This college is all about research, so most students come here to focus on that rather than aiming for jobs.

Campus: The campus here is top-notch compared to other IISERs. Everything from Wi-Fi to labs to classrooms and the library is really great. It's a nice place to be in. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus for free, which is awesome. The hostel rooms are nice too. They have staff to keep everything clean, which is cool.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff, and they're great at teaching. They're super friendly, so you can ask them anything. The courses prepare us well for what's ahead. The exams come pretty often and can be tough, but it's all good.

Placement: Around 400 students are in my batch. Many of us don't really aim for placements. Most of us are into pursuing PhDs, but the engineering folks are more into placements. On average, the placement package is around 10 LPA. The highest package so far was 27 LPA back in 2022.

Campus: The campus is pretty good. We have 7 hostels, a big library with 3 floors, and Wi-Fi everywhere. There are lots of labs for us to use. The hostels have good facilities. The food in the mess is usually great, but it can be a hit or miss sometimes.

Admission: The teachers all have Ph.D.s, some even have multiple postdocs. They're really good, with experience from top colleges like IIT's and IISC. The courses are up to international standards. The first semester is easy, but it gets tougher later on. Most students pass each semester, around 85%.

Placement: Around 10% of us land jobs here because many go for a Ph.D. after their master's. The highest salary offered is 31 LPA, while the lowest is 7 LPA. On average, we get around 22.5 LPA. Big companies like Deloitte, Elucidata, Nucleome Informatics, and Unilever recruit for their R&D teams. We usually do internships under professors from other top colleges for research. The main jobs we get are in research and analytics.

Campus: The hostels here are really good and super affordable. If you're in your first few years, you share a room with one other person. But if you're a senior, you get your own room. They always have clean drinking water and hot water available. The food in the mess is okay and costs around Rs.3200 a month, depending on which mess you choose. Right now, there are 4 boys' hostels and 3 girls' hostels, plus they're building 2 more. There are also 7 mess halls. The classrooms are awesome, with AC, digital boards, fingerprint attendance machines, and projectors. And the library can hold 500 people! And the best part? Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus, 24/7.

Admission: The staff and teachers at this college are awesome! They really know their stuff and are known for their research. If you take this course, you'll be set for research chances. The study abroad program is a good match for it. The semester exam is kind of average, not too hard or too easy. Most students, about 90%, passed it.

Placement: IISER Bhopal is great for internships and jobs. They accept around 60-85% of students. The stipend usually falls between LPA 13 to LPA 27. Lots of R&D firms want to hire from here. They also give vocational training. Everyone wants to be a cryptologist or data scientist after studying here.

Campus: The labs and equipment here are top-notch, some of the best in the country. They invest a lot in research tools. The hostels are great, but the food can be hit or miss depending on your taste. Wi-Fi is decent, and there are libraries, lecture halls, and classrooms. The stadium here is better than in any other IISER. The hospitals are okay, nothing exceptional.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. They teach well and make things easy to understand. The courses focus more on research than practical job skills. Exams are okay if you go to class. Most students pass with no problem, as long as the whole group does well.

Placement: Not many from my department get jobs in industries, but a lot opt for Ph.D. programs. Our alumni are everywhere, studying for Ph.D.s at top schools, even Ivy League ones. Almost all students land research internships, which is great. There's a cell here that assists students in getting Ph.D. positions at other colleges too.

Campus: The dorms here are awesome, we get Wi-Fi all day long. I share a room with another person. The library is top-notch for late-night studying till 1:00 a.m. The food in the mess is tasty, and the fees are fair. The sports stuff is amazing here basketball, cricket, tennis, gym, badminton, running track, you name it! And there's a health center that's open round the clock, too.
