Admission: The classes are organized well and follow a clear plan. You can pick extra classes in the 3rd year, but there aren't enough teachers for them. This means we don't always get to choose what we want. Some teachers are new and not super experienced. A few of them seem to have issues with students personally. And watch out, some teachers make exams really hard on purpose.

Placement: The campus placements got hit by the recession. There's not enough good facilities on campus, so big companies aren't showing up for placements. The old TPO got fired during placements, and it took 3 weeks to hire a new one after students protested. The companies coming now don't pay well.

Campus: The college has 6 classrooms and 6 labs. The classrooms are big, but we study in a tin shed which isn't great. The labs have good equipment, but the management isn't the best. The canteen is not good either, the food is bad and expensive. The hostels are outsourced and far away, like 12-15 km from the campus. We have to take a bus every day and the hostels are in isolated areas. They're run by different people, so the college can't do much about it.

Admission: The CSE course at IIIT Surat has top-notch professors who really know their stuff. They're always there to help us out and support us. The teaching quality here is top-notch, and the curriculum prepares us well for the industry. The semester exams were a bit challenging, but nothing we couldn't handle.

Placement: Around half of the students from our college land jobs after graduation. Especially in the Computer Science department, students are scoring multiple job offers from IIIT Surat. The average salary offered here ranges from 4 to 9 lakhs per annum. Big companies like Accenture, Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Infosys, and American Express regularly come to our campus for hiring.

Campus: The CSE course at IIIT Surat has awesome infrastructure. They hook us up with everything we need Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, computer labs, hostel, sports, you name it. The food in the canteen and mess is tasty too. And don't worry, they've got medical help in case of emergencies.

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff, but they're not very helpful. They focus more on theory than hands-on stuff, and they don't really encourage students to do extracurricular activities.

Placement: I just finished my sixth semester, getting ready for my placement starting in August. Last year, 42 out of 130 students got placed in 2023-2024 Placement Season (ECE and CSE combined). The highest package was 24 LPA. Many seniors landed summer internships on and off-campus. Overall, the placement season last year was decent, but we're aiming for a better one this year.

Campus: Our college doesn't have great infrastructure like other colleges. We only have one building for classes and labs (they're in different parts of the building). The big problem is there's no hostel for us to stay in permanently. Right now, first-year students have to stay in a school 10 km away. It's the same for second, third, and final-year students too. We don't even get basic facilities at our college and hostel.

Admission: The teachers at IIIT Surat are super helpful and know their stuff. They're like mentors, always there to guide us when we need help. The courses are practical and prepare us for the real world. Exams are fair, with most students passing easily. After the retests, almost everyone ends up passing.

Placement: So, in 2025, most students at IIIT Surat got job offers before graduating. Big companies like Microsoft and Walmart hired a lot of students. The highest salary offered was around 65 LPA, and the average was about 12 LPA. The college's placement team really helps students find good job and internship opportunities.

Campus: Our college campus is kinda temporary with Wi-Fi everywhere. We have labs for CSE, ECE, and a physics library. Since our college doesn't have its own campus, we stay at a hostel managed by private folks. But the college does offer a shuttle service, which is cool. We also have sports facilities like a volleyball court, kabaddi mat, carrom board, TT table, and chess.

Admission: The teachers here are really good, and some of them are amazing! They know their stuff and help you understand things well. But there are a few teachers who don't know the basics. The course structure is great because there are no unnecessary subjects like Chemistry or Engineering Graphic. The exams are just right - not too tough, but not too easy either.

Placement: I'm a student at Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat and I'm happy to say that this year 63% of us got placed! The highest salary offered was 64 LPA, with an average of 15 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Oracle, and Angel One hire a lot from our college, especially if you're in a tech field. It's great to see so many of us getting job offers from top companies!

Campus: The college I go to, Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat, doesn't have its own hostel. They put us in two different hostels, and one of them is Matrix Global Hostel. It's not great because there's no playground and the food in the mess isn't good. Also, the cupboard they gave us only has 2 racks, so it's hard to fit all our stuff in there.

Admission: Clearing the semester exam in engineering is no joke. You gotta work hard. We have to do a ton of practicals like 40 of them! And there are about 8 papers in the final semester. It's a tough ride, but worth it in the end.

Placement: The job opportunities here are awesome. My buddy graduated from here last year and got a job in Bangalore with a cool salary. His family is super happy for him because he did so well. Lots of folks wish they could do the same.

Campus: The college has great infrastructure and is super supportive, offering lots of awesome opportunities. The hostel food is amazing, made by really nice people. Overall, the facilities like parking and gym are top-notch.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff, although there might be a couple who aren't as great. The courses mostly focus on electronics, and the faculty is big on that too. But if you're into software, you can still pick up stuff on your own.

Placement: Last year, over 70% of us got jobs. This year, 50% of us already have jobs. The highest salary so far is 34 LPA. The big companies hiring ECE students are G-electronics and some software companies.

Campus: This college is kinda new since it's part of NIT Surat. It started its own campus last year. Even though it's new, the classrooms and labs are top-notch. Plus, the library and facilities are great, like the kabaddi, badminton, and volleyball courts.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty helpful, but some are not that great, especially in computer science. It seems like they don't really get what they're teaching. One of our professors is working on a Ph.D. in hydrogen energy and fuel. I'm not sure if the stuff we're learning is useful, but we don't have many workshops on tech stuff.

Placement: Most students in our college find jobs after graduation, about 70%. They usually get offered around 12 LPA salary. The highest package is 64 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Opera, Mathworks, Infosys, Uber, and more hire from our college. Things are looking up since we got a new director in 2024.

Campus: Our college has terrible facilities. We only have a few labs for computer science, electronics, and physics. The toilets are bigger than the library! The library at IIT Bombay is even bigger than our college. The Wi-Fi is so bad that we have to use our mobile data. Our college is in the middle of a farm, so even the mobile network is spotty. There's no sports ground, and the canteen food is the worst. Plus, we don't even have a hostel.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really amazing. They know their stuff and teach in a super clear way. The classes are awesome and exams are easy. They even give extra classes to help us out. Love it here!

Placement: The best classes in my major are mostly from Microsoft, offering a salary of INR 35 LPA. Amazon hired 20 students out of 120 in my major. Most job offers were for data scientists and analysts. Next month, companies focused on supply chain will be recruiting too.

Campus: I've been living in the hostel for a year now. I love all the facilities they offer like parking, gym, sports, swimming pool, cycling, dancing, and singing. The college always has cool cultural programs and competitions going on, which makes it really fun to be here.

Admission: The college teaches us stuff like AI that's important for today's job market. Most of the teachers have Ph.Ds, so they know their stuff. The exams are really hard, and not many people pass. The highest score in one subject was 64 out of 100.

Placement: Last year, around 70% of students in our college landed jobs on campus. Right now, the placement process is happening for this year. The highest salary offered last year was 64 LPA, with an average of 12.95 LPA. This year, companies like Oracle, Sutra, Infosys, STPL, and PayPal are here for placements. And for internships, we've had visits from big names like Microsoft, Google, GE Vernova, Future First, Angel One, and UKG.

Campus: The Indian Institute of Information Technology in Surat doesn't have its own hostel yet. The college management says they'll have one by next year. Right now, they arrange for students to stay in a private hostel that's about 10 km away from the campus in rural Surat. Unfortunately, our college doesn't have great sports facilities, so we usually have to go elsewhere for that.
