Admission: Joining IIIT Vadodara after JEE Advanced felt guided and clear. Counselling and seat allocation were organised, verification at the temporary campus was efficient, and staff helped resolve all doubts till orientation.

Academic: The teachers for our course are really helpful. They know a lot about their subjects and teach very well. I think the course content is also very relevant. But yeah, exams are a bit hard. Especially the final semester exam papers, those are quite difficult.

Placement: Our college placements are really good, with almost 90% of students getting placed. Many top companies came to hire, about 72 companies visited for the B.Tech placement process. The highest salary package reached 41 LPA, while the average package was 15.73 LPA. Even the lowest salary package offered was a good 13.5 LPA.

Campus: Right now, our main campus is still being built so it's not permanent yet. We are temporarily studying at the Government Engineering College of Gandhinagar. For our hostel, it is located in Raj Labdhi Heritage, which is actually a residential society.

Admission: Admission to IIIT Vadodara felt smooth overall. JoSAA counselling guided the process well, document verification was quick, staff were helpful with queries, and online fee payment was easy.

Academic: What I like most is how qualified our faculty members are. They're amazing and help us a lot, whether it's for getting a good job or even if we want to do some research. Their extensive knowledge really prepares us well for the market outside. The curriculum is also always updated, so it totally matches with what industries need right now. Our semester exams are properly set up too, which pushes us to study hard for good results. Being an IIIT, this college makes sure we get a broad understanding of IT, helping us grow professionally and personally.

Placement: For our 2024 graduating batch, placements are still going on, mostly for Software Development Engineer (SDE) jobs. The salary packages are pretty good, with the highest one hitting 33 Lacs, and the average salary is around 11 to 13 Lacs. Right now, Media.net is the top company hiring students from our college. Also, big companies like Adobe and Mathworks came for SDE roles, offering really competitive packages, even going beyond 35 LPA to 44 LPA.

Campus: At our college, the hostel rooms are quite comfy. They come with all amenities like an attached bathroom and toilet, which is very handy. You get a strong bed for sleeping, a study table with a drawer, and a good almirah to keep your things neat. Electricity and water are available all the time, so no worries there. For room Wi-Fi, we need to get our own connection, usually GTPL, but it works fine. The institute provides good Wi-Fi in labs and classrooms though, and these places are also air conditioned. Our labs have really excellent and updated computers, which are great for modern studies.

Admission: My enrollment at IIIT-V was efficient. JoSAA counselling went well, document verification was thorough but quick, and communication about fee payment and registration steps was always clear.

Academic: Our college, the teachers are really good; they know so much and are properly qualified. They teach in a great way, always explaining things well and clearing all our questions. Also, the semester exams are not very difficult here. You can pass them easily if you just study before the exams start.

Placement: Placements here are super good. About 95% of students get placed with an average salary package of 14 LPA. We even had a student get a 1.8 crore per annum offer, but it was off-campus. Top companies like Amazon, Samsung, Adobe, Deloitte, and Tata Consultancy Services come to recruit for our course.

Campus: Our campus facilities were not very good initially as the main campus was still building up, so we had to study in another place. But the hostel rooms were quite big and kept very nicely. The mess and canteen food was fair, just okay. Good thing is medical facilities were always available for us whenever we needed them.

Admission: Getting into IIIT Vadodara through JoSAA was fairly simple. Online registration worked well, document verification at the reporting centre was organised, and updates about important dates were shared clearly, which made the joining process easy to follow.

Academic: Semester exams at my college are pretty hard, and only 45% of students manage to pass. The course curriculum is kind of relevant and tries to make us ready for jobs. Our teachers are definitely well-qualified and know a lot about their subjects, so the teaching quality is good. But to be honest, they are not always that helpful when you need extra support.

Placement: Lots of big companies like Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia come to our college for placements. The salary packages are quite good here. The highest one reached 40 LPA, while the average package is 13 LPA, and even the lowest is 5 LPA. For my specific course, about 25% of students managed to get internships at Google. One thing to note is that top job roles are usually not offered for students from my course.

Campus: Our college has decent food in the mess and canteen, which is a big plus point, and the medical facilities here are also good. But talking about Wi-Fi, it seriously needs to get better. The labs are just okay, and classrooms are pretty average too. A major issue is the library, which needs a lot of improvement, and honestly, the sports and games facilities here are very bad.

Admission: My journey at IIIT-V went without any major issues. Registration and document checks were handled efficiently, counselling guidance was clear, and moving from selection to joining felt simple.

Academic: I feel about this college is that the curriculum is pretty good, better than many other places. The grading system is also quite nice; you can actually score well if you study just for about a week. About the teachers, some are really good, but honestly, some are not so great. The college doesn't put too much pressure on students, which is cool, though a few teachers do make some odd rules for their subjects sometimes.

Placement: The college is quite helpful for on-campus placements, which is a good thing. For packages, the lowest one is usually 4 LPA, and some students get really good offers up to 35 LPA. The average package hovers around 12 LPA. Companies like Oracle visit our campus for hiring. Our batch size is roughly 240 students. However, sometimes it feels like they give more importance to the Diu campus compared to Gandhinagar.

Campus: From my experience here, the mess food is actually good, and Jaiswal Canteen handles it. But when we talk about the campus, we don't have our own proper one yet, so the infrastructure is not really good. Good thing is, they started building our new campus, and it should be done by 2026. For sports, facilities are not good at all. There is a ground near our hostel, but since it's not owned by the college, we need to pay every time we want to use it.

Admission: Joining IIIT-V felt well-planned. Once JoSAA was cleared, online registration and document checks were organised, staff at the centre were helpful, and clear instructions about fees and orientation made the process stress-free.

Academic: The curriculum for my Computer Science and Engineering course is really relevant and up-to-date. It makes sure we learn all the main things in CSE, which helps us be ready for jobs. Our teachers are very qualified and know a lot. Many of them have advanced degrees and have worked in the industry too. They are usually quite helpful and you can talk to them easily. They guide us inside class and even outside. Teaching here is good, they use both theory and practical ways to teach. One thing I think could be better is having more real-world projects integrated into our studies. Semester exams are kind of medium difficult, not super hard. They check how well we understand concepts and how we solve problems. Most students pass these exams, with a pass percentage usually around 80 to 90 percent.

Placement: Placements here are quite good, with nearly 85% of students getting a job. Big companies like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft come to hire us. The highest salary someone got was 30 LPA, while the lowest was 5 LPA, and the average package was 10 LPA. About 70% of students also landed internships at places like Zomato, OYO, and Accenture. Many of us got roles as software developers, data analysts, or system engineers, and some even went into teaching or other software development jobs. Overall, both internships and final placements offered many good chances for us.

Campus: Our college has really good infra for my course. The classrooms are well-equipped, and we have modern computer labs with super-fast internet. Plus, there's a special library just for us to study and do research. The campus also gives us advanced software and hardware, which is great for practical stuff. For hostels, the rooms are comfy and come with basic things like Wi-Fi, mess food, and a place to chill. But honestly, they need to make the hostels cleaner and maintain them better. All in all, the infra helps us grow academically and personally, even though sometimes we face small problems with space and Wi-Fi connection.

Admission: Getting admission into IIIT-V felt easy because the JoSAA steps were clearly defined. Online verification was smooth, staff responded quickly to queries, and the orientation schedule was well-planned.

Academic: Teachers here are highly qualified, but I feel the teaching quality is just average. The course curriculum is pretty good though, it helps students get ready for the industry. The only problem is semester exams are super tough, and sometimes it feels like teachers fail students on purpose. That's why the pass percentage is only 40%.

Placement: Talking about placements for our course, it's pretty good. Around 90.65% of students from my batch got placed. The average salary package was 15.7 LPA. The highest package someone got was 41 LPA. While the lowest was 6 LPA, many people actually got packages starting from 13.5 LPA. The top job role offered here is SDE. Also, placements are still going on, and a lot of students are getting placed off-campus too.

Campus: From my experience here, our campus is only temporary for now, and the infrastructure is just average, nothing really great. The hostel fees are pretty high, but the facilities they give us are not proper at all. We even have to pay separately for Wi-Fi in the hostel, which is a bit much. The mess food is okay, I mean it's average, not bad but not super good either. They do serve us four meals every day though.

Admission: My onboarding at IIIT-V felt seamless. From JoSAA allocation to document checks, instructions were clear, staff were responsive, and the overall start to college life was stress-free.

Academic: From my experience, the teachers here are truly great. They really focus on our studies a lot. We also get teaching assistants for all subjects, which makes it super easy to clear any doubts we have. These professors help us in many ways, with everything we need. The mid-semester and end-semester exams are quite tough, but this actually helps us learn more and more. Because we have such good professors in the institute, only a few students end up failing.

Placement: This institute is quite good, especially when it comes to placements. They are really above average here. Almost 95 percent of students got placed, which is great. The average package was 15 Lacs and the median package was 13 Lacs. For recruitment, about 60 companies came, including big ones like Amazon, Samsung, and Jio.

Campus: Our college is quite good. Currently, it doesn't have its own campus, but we've heard it will get one soon. The hostel is a bit far, but they give a bus service for students. Inside the hostel, facilities are great – you get Wi-Fi, a bed with a cover, and a table. Also, the mess food is super tasty. There's even a special sports club and committee. They make sure we have a really good sports environment.

Admission: Admission at IIIT Vadodara felt organised. The counselling schedule was communicated clearly, staff were patient during document verification despite some waiting, and registration was completed without stress.

Academic: Attending classes is quite important here as 75% attendance is compulsory for all students. Our teachers are really good and quite experienced in their fields. The course curriculum is very relevant to what the industry needs, so it prepares us well for jobs.

Placement: For our course, more than 90% of students actually got placed, which is really good. The average salary package was around 14 LPA. Some really cool companies like Mathworks, Oracle, Media. Net, Increff, Graviton, and Nvidia come to hire us. The main jobs we get are SDE, analyst, web developer, and Java developer.

Campus: At our college, the whole campus has good Wi-Fi access. And all our laboratories are really well-equipped, which is great for our practicals.

Admission: Even though document verification took some time due to crowds, the overall process stayed manageable. Online steps were clear, staff clarified doubts on campus, and orientation details eventually came through properly.

Academic: The computer science course here is really good for anyone wanting to study CS. What's nice is you won't find subjects like chemistry or architecture, which keeps things focused. All the teachers are very qualified in their fields. Plus, if you have an idea for a startup, the institute even gives you money to do your project research and make it happen.

Placement: When it comes to placements, IIIT Vadodara Gandhinagar does very well. Most of the students get full-time jobs and also internships from here. The average salary package offered is more than 17 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Code Nation, Media.Net, Mathworks, Samsung, Infordge, Testbook, Graviton LLP, Titan, Car Dekho, Paytm, Jio, and Oracle are among the top recruiters.

Campus: Okay, so IIIT Vadodara's main campus is actually in Dumad Vadodara, but right now it's still under construction. For now, all of us students are studying at GEC Gandhinagar. Our hostel is also in a different spot, near Korba circle, at Rajlabdhi heritage. One good thing is the mess food, it's pretty good quality, and they give us meals four times a day.
