Admission: The teachers are really helpful and know their stuff. They teach really well. The curriculum is good, but they start with biology in the first semester. The exams are tough, and passing depends on SPI. There are also extracurricular activities. They prepare us well for getting good jobs. And they have a career development cell too.

Placement: When I was in the CSE department, most students got jobs around 75%. The best package was about 75 lakhs. Big companies like Google, Amazon, Groww, Infosys, and Paytm hire here. In M&C, almost 87% of students land internships. They offer roles in finance, consulting, machine learning, and group analysis.

Campus: The hostels have Wi-Fi with 5G, which is awesome. Classrooms are modern, with projectors and nice speakers for fun learning. They also have a chill common area, washing machines, indoor sports, and even a newspaper spot. The food is pretty good, and there's good medical help with an ambulance on standby.

Admission: The professors are really good here. They know their stuff. Most of them are from IITs. The course content is good, but we have some random chemistry and biology stuff in the first semester that we don't need. The semester is tough, kind of like the mains. About 80% of students pass.

Placement: Around 60% of students in my course got placed, which is pretty good. The highest salary package offered is 35 lpa, while the average is 12 lpa, and the lowest is 4 lpa. Companies like Intel, Wipro, and IBM come for recruitment. A lot of students from CS and EE departments also get internships here.

Campus: The college infrastructure is pretty good, but we have no signal in the area. The food in the mess is terrible we've spotted worms in it several times. Both the mess and canteen food lack quality. Plus, there's no proper ground for outdoor sports; we have to go to a temporary campus to play.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and they're great at guiding us towards our careers. The math and computing classes are pretty similar to Computer Science, but with extra math courses and a bunch of electives to choose from. The exams are fair and most people manage to pass them without too much stress.

Placement: The placements here are pretty good compared to other colleges, but they're just okay when you look at the top IITs and NITs. We don't have placement info for math and computing yet since the first batch graduates in 2025. But since the curriculum is similar to CSE, we can expect similar median and average packages. Companies coming for placements are mostly tech ones, with a few finance companies too.

Campus: The college is in Dharwad where the weather is nice. The campus is big and there are lots of trees around. We have good facilities and a nice library, but there aren't many copies of books. The wifi is great though. The food is good too. Right now, the sports ground isn't open, so you can check out the old campus for that.

Admission: The classes are really good. Exams aren't too hard, just manageable. Our professors set the paper standards, and solving them is fun. The course content is practical and prepares us well for the real world.

Placement: I'm in the B. Tech Chemical and Biochemical Engineering program. It's a 4-year course with subjects like Math, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. Our batch has about 50 students. A lot of older students got internships and jobs in different industries. Some even started their own labs.

Campus: The campus buildings and facilities are really impressive. Since our college is a new IIT, everything is modern and well-maintained. It's great to be here, even though the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty sometimes. Overall, everything they offer is top-notch quality.

Admission: The teachers here are always there to help us out when we're confused. They really know their stuff. The exams can be a bit tough, but not impossible. You need around 30% to pass, which is fair.

Placement: Placements are happening this year since our branch opened three years back. We're looking forward to better placements this time. The Career Development Cell (CDC) is great for internships, and the research facilities really help us succeed.

Campus: The college has everything we need labs, equipment, materials, you name it. I'm still a first-year student and haven't checked out the engineering lab yet, but seniors say it's top-notch. The college has all the facilities covered: medical lab, hostel, canteen, mess. They're even building a cricket and football ground for us, set to be ready next year. Plus, there's a wellness center for health stuff and a common area for indoor sports. And don't forget the gym! It's all good here.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. Some of them got their Ph.D. from places like MIT. They have set times when you can meet them to ask questions. In the 4th semester, you have to pick a main subject like Math, Physics, Chemistry, or Bio. The course is great because in Physics and Math, we get to study AIML which can help us choose our career path. Sometimes professors from IIT Bombay and Delhi come to teach us. The exams are tough, like an IIT should be. How many students pass depends on how the class does on average. We have labs every week and get credits for them. If you want to do your Master's at another IIT, you can skip the GATE exam if you score at least 8 CPI.

Placement: I'm in a new course that started in 2022, so we don't have placement info yet. It's a bit different because we start in the 4th semester. The course is 4 years long, with major subjects like Math, Physics, Bio, and Chemistry. You can leave after 4 years if you want. It's great for research lovers. Math leads to AIML studies with good job opportunities, and Physics offers Quantum AI and Computing, which helps with placements. Being an IIT student gives you an advantage. The curriculum is tough but really interesting.

Campus: The college has 24/7 Wi-Fi and a library which is cool. The campus is still getting built, so it might take around 10 years to finish everything. The food in the mess is okay. The canteen stays open till 3:00, so you can grab something there. You can wander around the campus without any problem. There's medical help all day. We have a nurse and doctors come every day but only at certain times.

Admission: The college has a great setup for academics. The ratio of teachers to students is good, about 1:10. They balance studies and fun activities well. The professors are top-notch with impressive academic backgrounds. The sports coaches are not only talented but also really helpful. They take care of students at all levels, whether they're newbies or experts.

Placement: Most students got jobs, and some went for start-ups or further studies. Big companies like Amazon, Infosys, Paytm, Oracle, etc., hire here. The average salary is around 16-20 LPA. The highest offer was 52 LPA, and the lowest was 8 LPA. You can do internships at places like Amazon, JIO, Texas Instruments, etc. They offer roles like SDE and product manager.

Campus: The college's hostel is awesome! It's got AC, Wi-Fi, and backup power. There's basketball, badminton, table tennis, and more. Each hostel has 3 common rooms for about 100 students. Plus, every wing has 3 washing machines. Inside, there's badminton, squash, volleyball, and a gym. They even have temporary spots for cricket and football, and a helipad! The medical help is top-notch too, with 24/7 service and an ambulance on standby.

Admission: The teachers here have lots of experience, like 78 years, and they graduated from top colleges like IITs or NITs. They know their stuff. The curriculum is good and easy to follow. You get a decent break with 4 months off every year. Summer holidays are 3 months long, and winter holidays are 1 month. Overall, it's not bad. The faculty may not be super invested in your grades, but it's alright.

Placement: The placements here are not great. Only the top students with high grades get jobs or internships. Some people might feel disappointed about joining for placements. Last year, only about 30% of students got placed. Some went for more studies, but others didn't have any options.

Campus: The college is pretty new, so the buildings are in good shape. Everything is clean and the hostels and buildings are nice and cool. The classrooms have air-conditioners, but the hostels don't. The only thing is the buildings are spread out, so biking might be better than walking between them.

Admission: The teachers at IIT Dharwad really know their stuff and have tons of experience. In the 1st semester for CS, the classes on biology and chemistry feel kinda out of place. But after that, the subjects line up with what we need to know. Almost everyone passes with a 95% success rate.

Placement: The placements in CSE are way better than other branches. The highest package is around 52 LPA, the lowest is 8 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA. Google, Amazon, and other big companies hire a lot of students from my course. They usually offer roles like data analyst.

Campus: The infrastructure here is top-notch, just like in the newer IITs. The hostel is pretty good, and studying in the rooms is nice. The only downside is we don't have our own sports ground. We have to go to a different campus to play cricket and volleyball.

Admission: The teachers at this college are awesome. They have a lot of experience from teaching at other IITs. The classes are interesting and helpful. But, you gotta make sure you attend at least 80% of the classes. If you don't, you might get a bad grade and have to retake the course. The exams are a bit challenging, but if you go to class and pay attention, you can handle them.

Placement: Most students, like 7580%, got jobs. The best offer was 55 LPA, but it was off-campus. On-campus, the top offer was 40 LPA. The average was 1214 LPA. Companies like CRED, Google, Intel, and Wipro hired a lot. Some students choose to study more. Placements are good and improving every year. Since it's a new IIT, it might take time to match older IITs in placements and reputation.

Campus: The setup here is really cool. Being a new IIT, the hostels here are way better than other IITs. The rooms have good Wi-Fi, but sometimes the network acts up. The classrooms are nice and have everything we need. The food in the mess is decent, and there's a late-night canteen open till 3:00 am. Our campus aims to be a "Net Zero Campus," meaning it will generate its own water, electricity, and manage waste that's why it's called "GREEN IIT." The only downside is we don't have playgrounds here. We have to go to the temporary campus for that, but the institute provides buses. In the sports complex, we can play badminton, squash, table tennis, and indoor games like carrom, ludo, and chess.
