Academic: In our college, the teachers are really good. They are super helpful, and so are the TAs. Even though some courses can be a bit tough, students always manage well because of the support from the teachers.

Placement: Everyone in our college, no matter their branch, focuses on coding a lot. This is because coding is super important to get a high salary package after graduation. Because of this focus, most of our batch students actually land internships in top companies, and these come with good salary packages. I even know my roommate got an internship at Oppo, which is great.

Campus: Campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, which is super helpful. The classrooms and library here are also good. Talking about the hostel, it's very nice, and all the rooms are good too, with two students sharing one room, whether it's boys or girls. And the mess food is really good, they serve meals four times a day.

Academic: It's great that we are mentored by IIT Bombay, because of this, professors from IIT Bombay take our classes. We follow their curriculum, which is really good and lets us explore a lot in our course. Our teachers are very helpful and support us all the time. They even have special doubt clearing sessions whenever we need them. We also got to go on an industrial visit, which was cool. They took us to research centers, and specifically to the National Oceanography Research Center. That visit helped us understand the instruments we studied in our books much better. The way they teach is also amazing, they want us to interact more and explore things ourselves. This kind of teaching makes us really self-sufficient and helps us go deep into our studies.

Placement: Campus placements haven't started yet because our first batch will pass out in 2020. But, we have a combined cell for internships and placements. We are under IIT Bombay's mentorship, and they give us a lot of help and support for this. Right now, almost 40 out of 85 second-year students are doing internships with different faculty members and companies. We also get invitations for interns from other institutions like IIITs, IISER, and various research institutes.

Campus: What I like about our college is that even though we are in a temporary campus right now, inside GEC Goa, things are managed pretty well. Our new hostel building is almost ready and will start from July. We have a medical dispensary, and if we ever need it, vehicles are there to take us to nearby hospitals quickly. The classrooms are super big, enough for 100 students, and we call them lecture halls. Wi-Fi is available, usually at 2-3 Mbps, but sometimes it goes up to 10 Mbps. For sports, there is a football ground and nets for cricket practice. We also have an indoor stadium for badminton, plus a common room where we play table tennis and carrom. We share the gymkhana with GEC college, but we have separate timings for it. Our library has a good collection of reference books, novels, and weekly magazines. The labs are good too, with enough computers for everyone. The mess is inside our hostel, and the food is quite good; we even have monthly meetings to discuss the menu. Four students share one room, and it feels spacious, not crowded at all. We haven't had any big problems with infrastructure, as our hostel secretary regularly takes care of all these things.

Placement: At our college, placements are quite amazing. Almost 98% to 99% of students get placed every year, which is super high. The average salary package here is 18 LPA, which is really impressive for any engineering college. The highest salary someone got was a massive 1.12 crore rupees. Many big and well-known companies like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, and Amazon visit our campus, along with around 200 other companies.

Campus: The infrastructure is just average. But for hostel life, it's quite fun and has enough facilities. Our classrooms and library are good for the student numbers we have, since the college strength is pretty low. Right now, the campus and hostel are temporary places, but I hear they are talking about building a permanent campus soon. For sports and games, the facilities are okay for normal students. Most big sports playgrounds are right inside the hostel, but not for cricket and football.

Academic: From my experience, the teachers here are really qualified and their teaching is top-notch. They make sure we understand everything well. Campus: Our college has really good facilities. Internet here is pretty good, with both WiFi and LAN connections available. We have one library too, packed with many different types of books. Plus, there are lots of classrooms and special labs for all the different departments. Hostels here come with good water supply and proper security, which is important. Mess food is healthy and yummy. And the canteen food won't cost much, it's affordable and tasty too. There's also a dispensary with many facilities for students. For sports, you can play cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and more.

We have a student-to-faculty ratio of 1:6. On the positive side, we finally got industrial exposure this year, which was a first for us. And yes, our curriculum is definitely beneficial.

Placement: For placements, honestly, nothing has happened yet. Our batch is going to be the first to get placed in 2020. The college's placement cell is just forming and still developing. They helped about 30 students get internships, some within the college and some with companies outside. But mostly, these were unpaid internships. The placement cell is still in the making, trying to get everything ready.

Campus: Currently, at our college, we don't have a permanent campus and are still operating from a temporary setup. The Wi-Fi speed is just decent, usually between 5 to 10 mbps. To be honest, the labs are not very well set up, and we often find that not all the necessary equipment and facilities are available there. The medical and classroom facilities are also just moderate, not really meeting good standards. Because of these things, we sometimes face classroom-related issues and other problems that need proper attention. On a good note, the food in our canteen is quite satisfactory. Our current hostel rooms are also only moderate, but the good news is we will be shifting to a new hostel this year that promises to have all the facilities.

Academic: What I like about my college is how much the faculty helps us with our studies. The teachers explain things really well. Semester exams are a bit tough, but even then, the faculty supports students a lot during study time. We also have relative grading here.

Placement: My course has 45 students. The placements here are really good, with the highest package last year touching 1.2 crore. On average, students usually get around 24 lacs. For hiring, many big companies like Google, Microsoft, and Texas Instruments visit our campus.

Campus: The hostel at my college is really nice, it looks just like a hotel. For my course, we get lots of facilities like an electrical workshop, a welding workshop, and an Ideas room too. Plus, the college has many medical facilities available for us.

Academic: In my college, teachers are super helpful and very educated. They make sure we get relevant knowledge and hands-on experience with machines, and internships give us full training. Honestly, online teaching was not that good. Exams here are harder than other normal colleges, but we get deep knowledge in our subjects. The pass percentage is really good because all our students are smart.

Placement: Placements for Mechanical Engineering students are quite decent here. Big companies like Microsoft, Tata Advanced Systems, IFB Industries, Jio, Mentor Graphics, Mathworks, and Sankhya Sutra Labs visit our campus for hiring. From our batch of 30 students, 23 registered for placements, and happily, all those 23 got placed. The salaries ranged from 7 LPA as the lowest package to 18 LPA as the highest package offered. Speaking of internships, it was a bit tougher. Only 11 out of 34 students managed to get an internship, and one of them was off-campus. This means about 32% of students got internships.

Campus: Even though we don't have a big campus of our own, the overall setup is quite good, even if it's a bit small. Our classrooms are nice, but they don't have air conditioning. Good thing our labs do have AC, so that's a relief. The library here is not huge, but it's super useful for all of us. WiFi is available everywhere and the speed is good, though sometimes it messes up during power cuts. Hostel rooms are decent, and the food quality I'd say is a 3.5 out of 5. There's also a canteen close by which is from GECs. Medical help is good here, and they are very caring towards students. For sports, the area is not that big but it's totally enough to have some fun. We have one volleyball court, one basketball court, and three badminton courts. Plus, there's a big ground nearby, called Gymkhana, where we can play cricket. We even have an indoor stadium for badminton and other games like carrom.

Luckily, I got a scholarship of nearly 2 lakh every year for being in this ITI college. For placements, top software companies visit, offering packages of about 3 lakhs per year.

Campus: College facilities are just average, not bad though. I think they should improve them, mainly for freshers, to make them feel homely, especially with the food. For fun, there are many resources to play games and enjoy a lot. Most evenings, we usually play in the playground only.
