Admission: The teachers here were smart and had lots of experience, but they were really mean. Their way of teaching didn't work well, and we had a hard time understanding. But the stuff we learned was good and got us ready for the job world. The exams were tough, and more than 40% of us passed.

Placement: The job placements at IIT Palakkad were really good 95% of students got placed! Lots of big companies came for recruitment, like JP Morgan, Deloitte, and Hindalco. The college also offered internships every year. It was awesome to have so many options for our future careers!

Campus: The campus had great infrastructure with everything students needed like Wi-Fi, labs, a library, sports facilities, and medical services. Campus life was awesome with all the amenities we needed. The food in the canteen was top-notch with lots of choices.

Admission: The teachers are okay, but they could use more experience. The first year has some boring courses, like in most engineering schools. The teaching is pretty good, and they check your work all the time, which is nice. The exams can be hard sometimes, but most people do fine and pass their semesters.

Placement: Last year, most seniors landed good jobs. The average salary was 15 LPA and the highest was 50 LPA. About half of the students got internships. But lately, placement rates have gone down due to some issues.

Campus: The campus is still being built, so it's not great yet. The hostels are okay, but the food could be better. The hostels have Wi-Fi and the classrooms are nice. There's a library and even a clinic on campus. Overall, the infrastructure is good.

Admission: The teachers were awesome! They came up with cool ideas for lessons that got us all interested and paying attention. It was great how they let us take our time to cover the syllabus without rushing us. It really made class more fun and engaging.

Placement: I rated it 4.5 out of 5 because they nail placements. This course rocks for getting jobs. The alumni network is strong too. The placement team goes all out to help students land great jobs.

Campus: Every department had around 8 to 10 classrooms. They had cool stuff like smart boards, green boards, projectors, and laptops. They kept everything clean to keep us healthy restrooms were clean and study areas were sanitized.

Admission: We never knew when exams were coming, they just popped up every month. It was all about studying, taking tests, getting grades back, and then studying again. The teachers kept our parents in the loop about how we were doing in class.

Placement: Not many students go for an M.Tech in data science at IIT Palakkad every year. But most students, around 82-90%, get placed, which is awesome. The placement training at the college is really helpful and easy to follow.

Campus: People from different places, backgrounds, and cultures all lived together without any differences. The campus was awesome, with parking, a chill dining hall, buses, and places to stay. They had cool labs and classrooms with AC.

Admission: The teachers here are strict but really helpful. They know their stuff and teach well. The teaching is top-notch and makes learning easy. The exams are super hard, so you gotta study hard. You need at least half marks to pass the semester.

Placement: Over half of us got jobs after college. The highest salary is 12.5 lakhs per year, and the lowest is 4 lakhs. Lots of big companies come to hire. Some of us also did internships. After graduation, people get roles like teachers, journalists, and lecturers.

Campus: The college has really good facilities like Wi-Fi, clean classrooms, a library, and labs with new equipment. The hostel food is decent and they have medical services too.

Admission: I go to IIT and the teachers here are awesome. They really know their stuff and are super helpful. Each course has a faculty advisor to guide you. The stuff we learn is right on par with what the industry needs. We have this cool event called Industry-Academic Conclaves every year where we meet industry pros. Exams are a breeze as long as you pay attention in class. You don't need to stress about extra work. Grading is fair and varies from subject to subject.

Placement: During 2022-23, most students in B.Tech found jobs. In my Mechanical Engineering class, almost everyone got placed. The highest salary was 46.15 LPA, while the lowest was 6 LPA. The average for all B.Tech students was 13.95 LPA, and for us Mechanical students, it was 11.8 LPA. Companies like Sprinkler, Mathwork, and others hired students for different roles in IT, Analytics, and Engineering.

Campus: At IIT Palakkad, the campus has great Wi-Fi everywhere, even in the hostel. There are labs for different subjects, and the computer lab is open 24/7. You can use it anytime! The library is open at specific times. In the hostel, they have free washing machines and a doctor on site for students, plus free medical insurance. The college works with local hospitals, so you can get medical help for free. There are two sports grounds and coaches for different sports. They even prepare us for inter IIT sports events. They provide all the gear we need for sports.

Admission: The teachers are super nice and always ready to help. They do a good job teaching, but get ready for lots of assignments and homework. The curriculum could use some work, so you might have to learn extra skills on your own, like soft skills. The assignments and exams can be a bit challenging, so make sure you study hard.

Placement: The B.Tech placements are pretty good here. For CS, the highest package is 41.6 LPA and the average is 15.88 LPA. The placement rate is 79.07%. In Mechanical, the highest package is 20 LPA and average is 10 LPA with a 76.67% placement rate. Civil has a highest package of 20 LPA and average of 6.28 LPA with a 57.89% placement rate. And in Electrical, the highest package is 36.72 LPA and average is 15 LPA with a 63.89% placement rate.

Campus: The classrooms and lecture halls are great with AC, projectors, and enough space. Computer labs are free (except during classes) and open even at night. The computers have 32GB RAM and 11th Gen i7 Intel processors. Wi-Fi is fast in campus and hostel. The food in the mess is good, mostly North Indian and not too spicy. If you don't like it, there's a canteen where you can buy food. There's a bus to get around campus and into the city. Sports facilities are growing and popular. Libraries in both campuses have lots of books. The only downside is that the two campuses are 2 km apart, so you might have to take the bus or walk between classes. Attendance and assignments can be tough, so time management is key.

Admission: The teachers here are super experienced, talented, and friendly. They help us out with our doubts both in person and online. The mechanical engineering course is top-notch for getting into the industry. The faculty really gets us ready to excel in everything. We have mid- and end-semester exams for each term, and they're worth 30% each. But don't worry, the exams are pretty manageable. You can get through them without too much stress.

Placement: Most students in my college get placed when they graduate. Every year, about 90% of students find jobs, mainly from the computer science and engineering department. The highest salary offered was 46.16 LPA to a CSE student. The lowest was 6 LPA, and the average was 13.93 LPA. Big companies like Google and Amazon come to recruit students in my department. And everyone gets a chance to do internships with various companies.

Campus: The campus has good infrastructure overall. Some buildings are old and not well-maintained, but the new academic buildings and hostels for Ph.D. scholars and fourth-year students are nice. Labs and classrooms have 24-hour Ethernet facilities. Classrooms are well-equipped. However, the hostels for first-year students are old and not great. There are plenty of sports options and opportunities for inter-hostel and inter-IIT competitions.

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff and teach well. They're always available during college hours to help with any questions. Exams aren't too tough as long as you put in the work, but cramming last minute won't cut it.

Placement: At IIT Palakkad, most students, around 92%, get placed every year. Companies like TCS and Infosys come for placements. The academics are really good. They explain the basic stuff in a way that everyone gets it.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is pretty good and fits well with Kerala's style, which I like. The campus is surrounded by greenery, so we always have fresh air that helps us relax and destress. The hostels are nice too, with amenities for playing table tennis and other indoor games.
