Academic: My college really focuses on making us ready for the industry by giving good guidance and knowledge. The teachers here are quite helpful, always there to clear doubts. Also, our college pays attention to student grooming and hygiene which is good.

Placement: In my college, I can say that placements are 100%. For our batch, literally everyone got placed in some company. We had companies like Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Chayos, KFC, McDonald's, and Third Wave Coffee come to hire us, and many more good places too.

Campus: Classrooms, computer labs, and the library are really comfy and super easy to get to. The campus itself is not too big, just average size. As for the food in college, it's pretty good, though you'll mostly find South Indian dishes and flavors.

Academic: For anyone looking to build a career in the hotel industry, this college is really the best. Our teachers are super helpful, well-qualified, and know a lot about the subject. The course content itself is very relevant to what we need to learn. Just keep in mind that clearing the semester exams can sometimes be a bit challenging.

Placement: For placements, it's great news because 100% of students find jobs right through our college. The companies coming here offer a highest salary of 7 lakhs every year, and even the lowest package is still 3 lakhs a year. We see top companies like Oberoi, Samsung, Taj, Decathlon, Cafe Coffee Day, Marriott International, ITC, Tata Starbucks, Radisson Blu, Lemon Tree, and Shandrila Hotel and Resorts hiring students.

Campus: This college is seriously one of the top places for hotel management. The teachers here are really good, and they treat all students super nicely. Also, the buildings and all the facilities are amazing. Even the kind of study and practical work we do here is good.

Admission: Applying for IHM, the admission steps were clearly communicated. After the merit list, online registration was simple, counselling was well-organized, staff at document verification were helpful, and onboarding felt efficient from start to final enrolment.

Academic: The teachers in our college are really smart and know so much. You can learn anything from them, and they are always there to teach and guide you for a good future. This course covers practicals and theory nicely, which totally helps students get real industry experience. Plus, the best thing about this course is the industrial training you get in the second year; it's a big help for your career later on.

Placement: The placements at IHM Bangalore are seriously amazing, actually more than 100%. This means every single student gets job offers from more than one company, all thanks to our college's placement cell. Our college is run by the central government and offers B.Sc. and H.HA. courses in hotel management, both for 4 years. All the really big names in hotels and food, like Taj, Oberoi, J.W. Marriott, Raddison, ITC, Starbucks, Subways, and McDonald's, they all come to our campus to hire students. Plus, most of us also get awesome management training programs in these very same companies.

Campus: Our college is super easy to get to, as it's right in the city center, very close to Vidhana Soudha and other government offices. The college building itself is located inside the SJP College campus on Sheshadripuram Road. For first-year students, there's a hostel facility, but it's about 9 kilometers away in Attiguppe. Don't worry though, there's a direct metro connection from the hostel to the college, so daily travel is quite convenient. I found the hostel premises, rooms, and even the food to be really good, so I would suggest staying there for your first year.

Admission: Taking admission here was straightforward. The online portal worked well, counselling cleared doubts, document verification was quick and thorough, and orientation prepared us well before classes.

Academic: What I like is how our teachers are really well-qualified and have very good industrial knowledge. This helps a lot because our course curriculum makes us ready for the industry, especially with all the industrial exposure it provides. The semester exams are not that difficult, but you definitely need to prepare properly for them. Almost 95% of students here pass their exams.

Placement: Our college has super good placements this year, like 100% of students got placed. The highest salary package someone got was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Big companies like Taj, Marriott International, and Oberoi come to hire from here. Also, everyone, like 100% students, got internships in really good 5-star hotels all over India.

Campus: Our college has all the important stuff like labs, kitchens, classrooms, and computers for everyone to use. But we don't have a playground, so many sports and games are not available here. Students make their own food, which means it's always healthy and tasty.

Admission: My admission experience was surprisingly smooth. NCHMCT JEE counselling rounds were clear, registration was efficient, document verification staff were supportive, and the journey from merit list to orientation was transparent and well-managed.

Academic: At IHM Bangalore, our F&B teachers are actually the biggest plus point, they have so much knowledge and guide us really well. Honestly, all the faculty here are among the best in India. They bring a lot of experience and expertise from the hotel industry, and they truly want to help every student through their whole college journey.

Placement: The placements here are really good because they consider what students are interested in. We had many top companies visit the campus. For students keen on hotels, big names like Taj, Oberoi, and Marriott came to offer management trainee programs. Retail placements were also strong, with companies like Puma, Reliance, and Aditya Birla making a good impact for those looking for roles in that sector.

Campus: Talking about IHM Bangalore, the infrastructure here is mostly good, though I feel it could be better. You know, with a name like IHM Bangalore, students usually expect a really big campus, but it's not actually that huge. Still, the facilities you get inside the college are totally top-notch. The hostel is a little far from the college, but its facilities are perfect, and the rooms are very spacious.

Admission: The IHM admission process was quite organized. Counselling after the merit list was smooth, document verification was well handled, registration and fee payment were straightforward, and the orientation program was informative.

Academic: The teaching quality at our college is alright, not superb, but it's okay. A lot of our teachers, like more than half, are actually nice. But yeah, some faculty are really bad, no joke. Somehow, they still manage to make us ready for industry. Oh, and the semester exams are pretty simple, not tough, with a 40% passing mark.

Placement: Placements this year are a bit disappointing, with only about 20% of students getting placed. Last year's results were much better. One issue is that students who are part of the placement cell get placed multiple times, which seems a bit unfair. But on the positive side, if you're not into hotel jobs, there are other chances because retail and consulting companies also come to recruit.

Campus: College hostel is quite good, but there are a couple of problems. For instance, there's no Wi-Fi connection, and washing machines are not available for students. Another thing is that the hostel is only for first-year students. However, the food menu in the hostel is really nice and balanced, with good options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian people.

About exams, they are not tough at all; you can score well easily if you just attend your classes regularly. To pass, you only need 40% marks.

Placement: Our college has really good placements, with around 95-98% students getting jobs every year. Some big companies like Samsung come for recruitment, offering salaries like Rs. 50,000 per month. The top salary package offered is between 6 LPA to 8 LPA. Also, everyone gets an internship, like 100% of students. These internships are with top hotels like Taj, Oberoi, and Marriot. You can get roles such as trainee, management trainee, assistant chef, or bell boy there.

Campus: The food in our college mess is quite good, even though the quantity can sometimes be a little less. For studying, we have a proper library with books and a computer lab too. Also, there are classrooms for all subjects, which really helps a lot with practicals. Our college also organises a sports day once every year for students.

Talking about the money, the average package was around 3.5 Lacs. The highest salary someone got was 8 Lacs, and the lowest was 2 Lacs. This year, 2023, so many companies came to our campus for hiring. We had big names like Marriott, The Oberoi, ITC, Accor, Hilton, Park, Taj, Shangri-la, Lemon tree, HMS HOST, Starbuk, CCD, KFC, Pyramid, Reliance, and Aditya Birla.

Campus: Our college has good practical classes, nice classrooms, and a decent library for students. They even provide lunch for everyone. The hostel is only available for first-year students and depends on your rank. It is a bit far, about 10-12 km from the college, but luckily there is good metro connectivity. However, the college campus itself is not really up to the mark.

Oh, and everyone has to do this 4-month industrial training, it's a must-do thing for all students.

Placement: Many good companies visit IHM Bangalore for placements. We saw recruiters like Starbucks, Hyatt, Dyson, and JW Marriott coming to hire us. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. After college, some of us got jobs in hotels, while others chose to continue with higher studies. There were also offers for roles like Management Trainee and Hotel Management Trainee.

Campus: Our kitchen, restaurant, and front office labs are pretty good here. The library is also excellent, with almost every type of book you can imagine. For sports, we have events twice a year, but they are held at outside venues, not on campus. There are two hostels provided, and both are just for boys. The hostel food is a mix of South and North Indian dishes. It's about 9 km from the college, but it's super easy to reach because of the metro access.

Many big companies hire from here, like HMS Host, Hilton, Taj, Oberoi, Samsung, Aditya Birla, Puma, McDonald's, Pyramids, Accor, KFC, and Lemon Tree, among others. They offer Management Training in all core hotel departments. Plus, you can also get MT roles in Sales, Revenue, and HR.

Campus: Okay, so our college has really good labs, classrooms, and a library which is nice. But the campus itself isn't that spacious, you know? And sadly, there's no Wi-Fi for students. They do give lunch at college, which is helpful. For first-year students, there's a hostel available, but only if your NCHMCT JEE rank is good enough. The hostel has a really big and spacious campus, though the food there is just okay. Plus, they also provide medical facilities and options for sports and games.
