IRMA Placements 2024: Highest Package: INR 31.16 LPA & Average Package: INR 14.17 LPA

Institute of Rural Management Anand concluded its PGDM (RM) placements for the Class of 2024 with 100% placements. All 267 students secured roles, with 98 recruiters making 322 offers. The highest package reached INR 31.16 LPA, the average stood at INR 14.17 LPA, and the median was INR 15 LPA. BFSI was the largest hiring sector, followed closely by dairy.

Legacy recruiters like GCMMF, ICICI Bank, NDDB, Mother Dairy, Reliance Retail, Axis Bank, Grant Thornton Bharat, and the National Payments Corporation of India continued their strong presence. New names this year included IndusInd Bank, Spandana Sphoorty Financial, Lactalis India, Ernst & Young, and Cipla Health, reflecting IRMA’s growing recruiter base.

IRMA Placements 2024 Specialization-Wise

IRMA offers placements for two distinct PGDM programs. PGDM (RM) is the flagship two-year residential course for fresh graduates and early-career professionals, consistently achieving a 100% placement record with top recruiters like Flipkart, EY, Reliance, ICICI Bank, and NPCI.

PGDM (RM-X) is a self-sponsored executive programme designed for working professionals, with an average package of around INR 13.67 LPA, attracting recruiters such as GCMMF (Amul), ITC, Samunnati, TVS Srinivasan Service Trust, and Jai Kisan.

IRMA PGDM (RM) Placements 2024 Domain-Wise Offers

Most offers at IRMA this year came from BFSI, which accounted for 37.8% of all roles. Dairy followed with 23.6%, while Consulting stood at 7.5%. Retail contributed 6.7% and Agro Business 6.0%. Other sectors like EdTech, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, and Manufacturing together added up to a notable share, showing IRMA’s sectoral diversity.

For IRMA’s PGDM (RM) Class of 2024, FMCG delivered the highest average pay at INR 17 LPA, with offers reaching INR 20 LPA. Manufacturing followed with an average of INR 16 LPA. Dairy and BFSI were the largest recruiters, each offering an average of INR 14 LPA and medians of INR 15 LPA. The highest package overall, INR 31 LPA, came from the “Others” category.

Placements at IRMA have stayed consistent over the last three years, with steady growth in the highest package. In 2024, the highest domestic salary reached INR 31.16 LPA, up from INR 26.50 LPA in 2023. The average salary was INR 14.17 LPA, while the median stood at INR 15 LPA.

IRMA PGDM (RM) Internship Placements 2025 Highlights

IRMA’s summer internship placements for the 2023–25 batch were completed in just 11 days, from January 29 to February 8, 2024, with a perfect 100% placement rate. All 300 students secured internships through a hybrid process. The institute received 563 offers from 113 recruiters.

The highest stipend touched INR 2.40 lakh for two months, while the overall average stipend stood at INR 58,258, with a median of INR 50,000. The corporate sector offered an average of INR 68,000, and the development sector (NGOs, Cooperatives, CSR, Government Development Agencies) averaged INR 46,775.
