J.C. JCBUST Faridabad SC/BC Post Matric Scholarships
J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad provides SC and BC Post Matric Scholarships to support students from economically weaker backgrounds. SC students whose parent’s annual income does not exceed INR 2.50 lakh are eligible for the SC Post Matric Scholarship awarded by the Haryana Government, Chandigarh. Similarly, BC students with parent’s income up to INR 2.50 lakh can avail of the BC Post Matric Scholarship through the District Welfare Officer, Haryana, as per state government instructions. Applications for these scholarships are submitted online during November–December every year through the SCBC Social Welfare Department, Haryana, following advertisements published in national dailies.
JCBUST Faridabad Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
JCBUST also offers a Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for B.Tech, MCA, and MBA students. Up to 15% of the sanctioned strength of each course is eligible to receive a monthly scholarship of INR 750. Eligibility is based on a parent's income as per state government norms. Students must meet performance and attendance standards as per university rules or as determined by the competent authority. This scholarship is available to candidates from Haryana or those admitted through Central Counseling.
JCBUST Faridabad University Medals
The university awards several prestigious medals to recognize outstanding academic and overall performance. The Governor’s/Chancellor’s Gold Medal (INR 75,000 + Medal + Certificate) is awarded to the overall B.Tech final-year academic topper. The Chief Minister’s Gold Medal (INR 65,000 + Medal + Certificate) is given to the overall B.Tech final-year girl topper; if the girl receives the Chancellor’s medal, the next girl topper is awarded this medal. The Vice-Chancellor’s Gold Medal (INR 51,000 + Medal + Certificate) is presented to a final-year B.Tech student considering both academics and extra/co-curricular achievements. Additionally, Dean Merit Certificates (INR 2,500 + Certificate) are awarded semester-wise, branch-wise, and course-wise for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and HAS courses.
